Cowgirl’s Espresso

This one is right out side McChord main gate. Coffee is okay but the girls are friendly. You can take a picture with the girl, but you cannot just take pictures of the girls by themselves.

When I’m in a sleepy haze, usually during the work week, I stop here when Courtney is on shift because she actually knows how to make a solid cup of coffee. She’s gotten to the point where she pretty much knows what I want, which is nice because I don’t go here all the time. In conclusion, go here when Courtney is on shift because she’s a great barista with a nice personality and she is more than easy on the eye. Oh and if you want good service, don’t forget to leave a tip. Enjoy.

I once heard criticism of Wonder Woman stating that there is a fine line between Super Hero and Super Model that cannot be crossed. Bikini coffee stands have a similar tightrope to ballance between drive through coffee and Victoria’s Secret Fashon Show. Cowgirl’s seems to have found that ballance, at least at this location. Product is usually good and the service is attentive. The gals typically are fairly chatty and friendly, unlike other places. Other stands I’ve been to in the area seem a bit patronizing with their interactions, while here seems to be genuine people. While I wouldn’t exactly suggest getting a coffee here if you are on your way to your son’s T-​ball game, it is nice to know that you can get a coffee, have a nice chat, and be on your way without needing any eye bleach.
I don’t typically frequent this sort of coffee stand, but when I do, Cowgirl’s is one of the few I would actually consider as the occassional repeat.

I’m a regular at another place because its on my way to work but I happened to pass this one yesterday and wow! I don’t know if I got lucky or if its the norm here but the barista was 10x hotter than any other barista I’ve ever seen. She blew me away and she was very friendly! Oh, and the coffee was great too. I’ll definately be going back.

Baristas always served great hot beverages here. They are very friendly as well. That’s why I am a regular customer here!

If Cowgirls was indeed the first «bikini barista» shack, it was certainly a way to distinguish themselves from the other espresso shacks that litter the area. Though in a natural progression, it became an arms race to the bottom, as tasteful lingerie begat places like Bikini Bottoms and Hot Chick-​a-​Late that offer little more clothing than pasties and a thong. Like Hooters, it becomes less about the product than the appearance of the person serving it to you, and the quality suffers. Which isn’t to say there aren’t good-​looking women who know how to tamper, and I would say through a sampling of what the area had to offer (no snickering, please), Cowgirls had the best cappuccino among these types of places. Their 20oz Americano, on the other hand, could have benefited from another shot.

It is a shack that serves good espresso drinks at a very good price. It is not too far from where I work when I am in town for such things.
