My mom has been in the hospital most of the month after being on life support. I am cleaning up some of her affairs. She had bought some unopened products from walgreens in Colorado Springs within the past month. I tried to return these items to walgreens as it says they accept returns within 30 days at ANYLOCATION. The store told me that they have their own policy and they do not follow this corporate rule. They advised me i may drive from my area(Denver) to the original store in Colorado Springs to teturn these items. My husband called 1−800−925−4733(walgreens customer service) to report that we are unhappy with this discrepancy. That was 4 days ago. We were promised a call back in 2 business days. Today we called again and were advised they would«escalate» our complaint and we would get a call back«next week». Of all the things im dealing with for my mother right now I expected this task to be much easier. Walgreens, shame on you for not following written promises to your customers and making us jump through hoops.

Clean, well-stocked, well-organized, and well-run Walgreens. Staff is nice, layout is typical Walgreens, and the selection is typical. The pharmacy staff is professional, prompt, polite, and have it right the first time, every time. The drive-thru pharmacy is often a bit on the slower side, but I usually just go into the store anyway.

The Pharmacy people are always fast, efficient and kind enough to help answer questions. Most Walgreens you can barely ask more then one question. I like this location!

I only care about the drive-thru pharmacy. The people are, for the most part, okay, but I hate that they make me sit in my car for upwards of 5 minutes without even acknowledging me. I hate pulling up to see one or more cars in front of me, because that will for sure mean a lonnnnnng wait. That’s why I’m in a drive-thru! I don’t wanna wait! Walgreens could improve a lot in this area … and when they do, I will update to say so.

I have always had high regard for Walgreens, but after visiting this store, it’s wavering. Stopped in on 9÷14÷13 to take a break from apartment hunting; use the bathroom, get a drink, etc. I stopped at the clearance section and beauty section, picked a new Wet & Wild lipstick, paid, went to my car and realized I had left my phone on the counter. In just minutes, my phone had vanished. The cashier«didn’t see it,» and stated there was only one customer behind me buying hair color and«she wouldn’t have picked it up.» Long story short, I searched 20 minutes, but to no avail. No one working there seemed to care. I had to ask the beauty clerk, who never asked if I needed help in the first place, to call my cell phone. She went into the office, but never made a reappearance. Hmmm, kind of strange. By this time, the cashier who had checked me out 20 minutes prior was at the photo desk. I asked about the co-worker who had supposedly called my phone number and was told, «She tried, but it went to voicemail.» At that moment I knew it was stolen, as I had the ringer on, and loud. Well, to make a long story shorter, I asked to use their phone, since of course there are no more pay phones, and it was like asking a leprecaun for his gold. Verizon wasn’t much help either, since, if your phone is lost/stolen, you have to have access to the internet to find it yourself. Ended up just going to a Verizon store and buying another phone. A week later I stopped back into this Walgreens to ask if they had«found» my phone, the cashier went to the office and came back immediately. He stated, «No phone matching your description. You should put in a police report.» Really?! Why didn’t you tell me that last week when you watched me run around like a chicken with its head cut off. I’ll still shop at Walgreens – since there are no CVS’s and a mere handful of Rite Aids in Denver(another reason to miss San Diego!) – but just not at this one.

Stopped in here for a couple of items — it’s a bit farther from the hotel than the Super Target — but I was unaware of where Super Target was until after visiting here… Same well stocked, well organized, clean store as it was a year ago…

My friend forgot her toothbrush and we were staying down the street. We found 2 for like $ 2.99(as a set) so she got some and so did I. I didn’t need them but I could never pass up a good deal. They also looked like the Colgate brand but when we got home we realized they were a Colgate look-alike brand. Oh well, does the same trick. Not sure if I like these scary slightly brown tiled Walgreens. Their appearance isn’t very pleasing to the eye and reminds me of a hospital building. Customer service was friendly but they were out of Arnold Palmer Iced Tea in both regular and«lite». I guess they are a hot commodity and have heard that they sell as soon as they hit the shelves.
