A no frills diner putting out good, simple, classic eats in small town USA. My bacon, egg, and cheese was delish. My breakfast companion enjoyed his cheese omelet with turkey sausage, and all that was served up by our super sweet waitress. We were even«those people» and walked in with our coffee cups Togo from Rojo and they didn’t ask us to toss them out. Local businesses supporting other local businesses in a small town with a great sense of community will get my business any ol day.

Just went back and the corned beef and hash was still crisp off the griddle and eggs cooked perfectly over easy. Coffee is still good and the décor has not changed in the past century. I was not a huge fan of the omelette but the pancakes looked good. The staff and service was very nice and friendly. This place only takes cash!

I heard all great things about this place so decided to go this Sunday morning with friends. Place as really cute but service was terrible. Our waitress took forever to come to our table and when she did, she was so rude. She slammed our waters on the table, never looked us in the eye, and rolled her eyes when we asked for coffee. We immediately left after coffee. The cashier apologized but I felt so disrespected already. Will never return again

Good old fashion diner! The food and service was good, if your nearby and want some inexpensive home type cooking I would give this place a shot.

I’ve had some good meals here, and I’ve also had some not-so-good ones. The pancakes, along with the BLTs and home fries taste good. The omelettes are okay, a bit too cheesy, with not enough egg. And the fish filet sandwich was unsatisfactory. There was more batter than there was fish. And even the cod itself didn’t taste good. Overall, this place serves standard diner eats. Good breakfast, and okay lunch. A lot of the stuff is greasy and fried. And a lot of meat as well. Hope this helps! :)

We actually found this place without using Unilocal,it just seemed like it was going to be good! I’m happy to say we were right. My husband got the lobster salad which was delicious. My son got The banana bread French toast! It was so good! I got a western omelette with cheddar cheese the veggies inside were fresh and good and sautéed beautifully, it was just so tasty. We also got an order of the cottage fries. These are hand sliced, homemade potato chips, fried on the spot. Very decadent but oh so incredible. The service was very good everyone was very nice and it was really enjoyable experience.

I adored this little place. My first East Coast diner experience. Loved it! The place was nice and full and the food was good. I ordered corned beef hash with eggs over easy. These were the most perfect over easy eggs I’ve ever had in my life. Pure perfection! Everything looked so good I wanted to try it all. I did get a pork roll bagel to go the next day. My New Jersey friend told me I HAD to try the pork roll. Well, it was good. Not sure I’d order it again but I can see how it can be appealing and such a local favorite. The bagel was delish. Hope I can come back sometime and try some other things. Service was fantastic and my server was very warm and friendly.

Came here for brunch on a sunday afternoon. Service was a little slow but for the prices it was good. The english muffin was delicious. The bacon and hash browns were just okay. I added them as sides which wasn’t the best move. Cash only so come prepared.

What an awesome place! Old school luncheonette with super friendly staff, great food and reasonable prices. This is one of those places where you walk in and feel like you’re at home. It has become my go to place in Lambertville for breakfast. If only they were a bit less crowded! I try to get there before 10 to avoid the line but it always seems to move quickly so it’s no big deal. 4 out of 5 stars because they only take cash. Take Am Ex and get another star. Let me know :)

This is one of my favorite spots for breakfast. They make an amazing omelette, and an even more amazing corn muffin. You get plenty of food for your money. It is cash only. Good service, good coffee. A clean family atmosphere. I give them 4 Noms!

Frequented Lambertville for many years and finally made it for breakfast at Sneddons! The menu at the table may seem limited until you look at the specials board posted above the register. Here, items are purchased«a la carte» but no worries, it all equals to be a good amount of food for a fair price. Just to put it into perspective: A block or so down you can get a full breakfast with potatoes and toast for 10.95. At Sneddon’s, the omelette w/toast may be 6.50 with a side of potatoes at 3.50. OH, and I enjoy potatoes with my breakfast and was pleasantly surprised that they offer Three(3) different types; Hash brown style; cubed red bliss potatoes with peppers and onions; and then there are the Fried Potatoes which are like a heavy chip. All delicious and all worth it. The setup is a no fuss diner/luncheonette style which fits in well for the area. Wait Staff is friendly and service is attentive. Only be aware that this place is Cash Only! Definitely recommend an omelette! Great size and great taste!

Love me some Sneddon’s. It’s a no-frills kinda place, so don’t expect anything glamorous. People complaining about the prices — wtf? It’s literally the most affordable sit-down breakfast you can find in Lamb/New Hope. Food is consistently good — always get an omelet or choco chip pancakes. Now that I’ve been going every Sunday morning the waitresses love me and my friends. They’re always super nice to us and very accommodating… ya know, chattin’ about the wife and kids and stuff. Doesn’t accept CC’s, but who cares. There is literally a bank of every variety in Lambertville and New Hope — so suck it up!

Our favorite place for no-frills breakfast and lunch in Lambertville. The seating is basic, they don’t accept CC, and you seat yourself. Nothing on the menu wows but they get points for having spinning stools at the counter. Parking can be a challenge, but that’s true for all of Bridge Street. Bring quarters for the meters or you’ll be sorry.

Love this luncheonette for a quick breakfast or lunch… When the line isn’t really long. For $ 20 you get two big entrees, unlimited coffee and tea, good service and a cute, throwback atmosphere. Stick with the basics: can’t go wrong with a western omelette and short stack. I also can’t skip the rich hot chocolate with whipped cream from a can no matter how full I am.

Sneddons, Sneddons, Sneddons. I had hoped this day would never come. I’ve been coming here since I was a tiny little girl and have now raised my kids coming to Sneddons for a special breakfast that always took me back to my childhood. But now I dont want to come back. And by the looks of the sparsely populated tables, neither do many of other locals who have frequented your business since we were kids. Why? Sky-high prices and stingy servings. Took the two kids there last Friday because they were begging for the cottage fries, a Sneddons favorite. One son got a club sandwich with the cottage fries, the other eggs and pork roll with cottage fries. I got the BLT. I received a BLT– that’s it. Tiny plate with two small slices of toasted bread and BLT in the middle. Not a chip or french fry in sight — $ 6.99. Two of us got water and one got a soda. The bill for the three of us: $ 32.50BEFORE tip!!! And I had to go to the register for the privilege of paying for a meal I could have made at home for $ 4.32. Dont forget they dont take credit cards, so be sure to go to the ATM before you get there. Even worse, the famed cottage fries were burned and looked like they had heated some old ones back up rather than make them fresh for us. I have been noticing the price of meals out since that shocking breakfast and have noted that I could eat almost anywhere else and gotten a better dining experience at a lower price. There used to be 4 or 5 waitresses at Sneddons that are like old friends — they knew the whole family by name. But now there are only 2, though still friendly. It used to be a wait to get a table and now we walked right in with only 4 or 5 tables occupied at 9:30 in the morning. I dont think I am the only one noticing that something has changed at Sneddons. But I cant afford to eat there anymore.

Sneddon’s is full of charm, welcoming and delicious. I have been here a couple of times while visiting friends in the Water Gap, and it’s always a pleasure to drop into Sneddon’s for breakfast. Nothing says ‘family owned’ like giant blow up photos of your 25 grandchildren pasted all over the wall — this appears to be the only modification to the décor made in the last 40 years. All the requisite diner menu items including the dubious looking pastas in the ‘sauté’ section. Obviously, keep your order simple and have a look at the specials on the whiteboard. The omelets here are superb — no sentimentally induced generosity on my part there — try the cheese and kielbasa omelet. The hash browns are excellent too — crispy and just moist enough in the middle without being watery. Decent burgers and good fries. Perfection of the simple stuff comes with decades of the same people overseeing the kitchen. The service is very friendly and very good. Some people are upset that Sneddon’s is cash only, I’m happy that you can get a hearty breakfast for under $ 8 in a town with a worrying amount of antique shops and Sotheby’s ‘For Sale’ signs.
