Stopped in here to grab a bite while working in Lambertville & ordered the Veggie Panini. The sandwich was perfect size for me, I’ve paid the same for smaller sandwiches from Big Bear that weren’t as good. Toasted to perfection & the Veggies were fresh & no taste of meat, I feel like I got what I paid $ 9 for.

Great spot in Lambertville for a quick bite for breakfast or lunch. Try the ham and swiss crisp or the beefy brit! But I was just in Sunday morning at 11:30 looking for breakfast and was told rather abruptly that we’re not serving breakfast. Really! On a Sunday morning??? Made me change my rating… and go to Café Galleria…

Quality of Sandwhiches = 5 stars Pricing = 3 stars Paid $ 10 for a small sandwhich with potato chips on the side & no drink(soda/water is extra). I personally can’t stand potato chips, but there wasn’t an alternative side that I was aware of, but more importantly for 10 dollars, I need to be getting a bigger sandwhich & my meal should come with a drink. On a lighter note, the coleslaw was the best coleslaw I’ve ever had in my life on my little sandwhich.

The best lunch I have ever had. The sandwiches are divine. I will be back. We were a party of four and we shared everything. And as a picky eater, now I am not. Superb. Fresh. Awesome.

Went here for lunch and really enjoyed our sandwhiches. My husband got the ham and swiss crisp, I got the the roasted vegetable, my Dad got the balsalmic chicken, and my Mom had egg salad. Everyone seemed pleased with their sandwhiches. Good place to go for a quick bite to eat after walking or biking on the canal tow path.

Its incredible that a place that makes sandwiches for a living can continuously make errors on their offerings. Wrong bread, wrong cheese, wrong quantity, tomatoes when not ordered, grilled when not supposed to be… I could go on and on. The real kicker was the lack of care when the owner was presented with an opportunity to respond to some of the mistakes. The«I could care less» attitude will be reciprocated by a «I will not come back nor recommend» attitude. 3 out of 3 people would have had wrong sandwiches if we had not intervened and we were the only 3 in there. Thank god these people did not go to medical school! Its really too bad because the sandwiches when made correctly are excellent and the food is high quality. Honestly we have eaten there probably 10 times and 9 of the 10 something was incorrect. Human blood was found on one of our plates one day and their Make good offering was a $ 3 discount on the sandwich by the woman wearing a bandage on her finger who owned up to cutting herself while making our sandwiches. Im not sure about you but I would have comped the entire lunch. To top it all off the owner called one of us a wise ass and I certainly do not think we have the rapport with them that I would be comfortable calling one of them a wise ass, especially when our comment was a clarification so they did not screw up our order which they were currently in the process of screwing it up.

Based on all the rave reviews maybe my expectations were too high, or maybe I just expect too much from a sandwich. Either way I just wasn’t impressed. The food was fine, but like others mention all the sandwiches were pre-made in the case and not the freshest. they could have been worse but they could have been a lot better too.

Annie’s came highly recommended by my friend Gina D.(who needs to change her Unilocal name to Gina S. since I just witnessed her get married!) My boyfriend and I recently spent a weekend in Lambertville to attend above-mentioned friend’s wedding and were looking to grab a bite for breakfast. Annie’s totally hit the spot. I had a bacon egg and cheese on a roll and, being from Jersey, breakfast sandwiches are pretty standard, but this one just blew me away. Maybe it was the roll or the freshness of the ingredients but it was awesome. The owner herself came to talk to us and was so friendly. I definitely plan on returning the next time I’m in the area.

Based on the good reviews here, we walked into the place, which looked quite dark, not so clean and uninviting. But we did not let this deter us from getting the promised wonderful foods. We were not thrilled with the huge pre-made pile of sandwiches that sat in the counter, but still ordered a sandwich(Beefy Brit) from the menu on their wall. The server behind the counter made a face, as it turned out to be a sandwich not from the said pile and she had to prepare it. It turned out to be a huge portion, but the quality was questionable. The roastbeef was not fresh and there was way too much onion jam in there. if you’re more about quantity than quality, you could like it. We also bought a slice of quiche, which was extremely heavy on eggs and cream and very bland. Can’t recommend it at all. The slice of cake we took didn’t taste homemade at all. All in all, can’t recommend this place.

Annie’s is an adorable sandwich shop with homemade gourmet foods, excellent personal service and a home town feel. Panini’s filled with the freshest ingredients and a variety of quiches are some of the great choices they offer. Prices are reasonable and pleasant collectable décor fits the place perfectly. Tired of chain restaurants with mediocre food? Stop in at Annie’s for a unique meal. Strolling Lambertville is always a plus.

Best Omelet Ever! For the record, I’m not a huge fan of omelets. So… when a group of us wound up at Annie’s it took me a while to decide. I had the absolute best spinach and cheddar cheese omelet. It was a thin omelet but it has the filling from end to end! What a treat! The marbled rye toast was perfect as were the home fries! Everything was cooked to perfection! The atmosphere is casual and neighborly. I ran into 3 people that I hadn’t seen in a while there! They too know a good thing!

Hands down, by far the best place in new hope/lambertville area to get lunch(maybe breakfast too — but I haven’t tried it yet). We came here with my parents to get a quick lunch without having to sit down at one of the bigger restaurants. This was exactly what everyone wanted. You order at the counter, grab a seat and the friendly staff will bring it out to you when it’s ready. I got to try a bite of everyone’s so I really got a good sampling. The porchetta sandwich caught my eye but unfortunately they had just sold the last one. Instead, I enjoyed the roasted veggie sandwich. Others had the beefy Brit, turkey delight and Reuben. Everyone ate every last crumb from their plates and raved the entire time how they were the best sandwiches they’ve ever had. Every sandwich came with potato chips but they also have a selection of macaroni and potato salads behind the counter if you’re looking for something more. If you’re in town and just want a quick, unpretentious, delicious meal — stop at Annies, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely loved. After walking past this place, I’m so happy we walked in. The Sicilian Porchetta is freakin’ delicious! I’ve eaten a lot of pork sandwiches in my day, but this one definitely made my favorites list. The person I was with ordered the Herbed Chicken Salad… being greedy, I was able to try some and also enjoy that. Definitely out of the ordinary for a chicken salad, in a completely delicious way. Service was also extremely friendly and personable. I will be returning for sure.

I thought I was an great sandwich maker until I came here. Phenomnomnominal. If you want a full flavor man’s man sandwich then grab a Beefy Brit. You’ll need two hands. If you’re into fresh and cool with an unexpected burst of flavor then the Turkey Delight is for you. See my posted pic… You’ll need a big mouth! We live over an hour away but I’ll make the drive again as soon as we can.

Sandwiches are top notch at Annie’s. In a time of phoning in the sandwich like so many places do, Annie’s puts in the effort. The perfect balance between dry and wet, meat and bread, toasted or not toasted it’s all good. Don’t be a rube getting subway, you’re better than that. Support some local flavor.

Best sandwich I’ve ever had! I ordered the Turkey Delight and my husband had the Beef Brit. We were both very pleased with our choices. The other menu items also looked delicious, which included omelets and French toast. They also offer«simple» sandwiches that you create yourself. Perfect for picky kids. Ingredients were fresh and very good quality. Prices were very reasonable and portions were very adequate. We visit Lambertville on a fairly regular basis and this will now become our go to lunch stop. Highly recommended.

I have always liked Annie’s for lunch and breakfast. We have a lot of choices here in Lambertville but Annie’s is a top consideration. Deb and daughters always have smiles for us and sometimes a tasting of something cooking in the back. I hosted a surprise birthday party for my husband and decided to give Deb and daughters a try for catering and service. I knew I wanted their filet and salmon but left the rest of the menu up to them. We had a great antipasto, filet, salmon, roasted potatoes, grilled veggies, rolls and Ceaser salad. The food was outstanding and the service could not have been better. It was delivered on time and exactly as promised. Everyone raved about the food and I was able to enjoy the party while Julianne and Nicole literally took over the kitchen. There was very little to clean up and the leftovers were appropriate for my headcount. We would definitely use them again!
