Call of duty burger. WHAT? That’s exactly what will happen if you attempt to order the Call of duty burger. Apparently the people who take your order have not seen the Call of duty commercials or all the Call of duty signs outside, inside, and in the drive thru. But ready for the secret menu? Simply say Tex Mex Bacon Thick Burger and suddenly they will understand what you were saying funny because Call of duty burger has a way better ring to it but whatever. 5 stars minus 1 for not knowing what the call of duty burger is equals 4 stars

I like Carl’s Jr. when I compare it to other fast food places and since I usually eat chicken sandwiches I rank them fairly highly. Sorry my reviews are long especially for fast food, but I try to be as informative as possible. One of the plusses with Carls is the fact that they mail out pretty good coupons every other week or so. I don’t feel it worthwhile to order any larger sandwiches at fast food places without coupons(one could just go to a nicer place), especially when feeding multiple people. I especially like the one in Palmdale, but since I live in Lancaster, I figured I would give this one a try. The young man who took my order was ok, he let me use all of my coupons(3) at once, instead of making us do 3 separate transactions(a huge plus for me). He was a bit non-chalant, but I chalked it up to him being new/not caring about his fast food job. Food: I will list the full prices/coupon prices depending on what I used. The food looks a lot better than it tasted, although this could be due to me being bored of eating at Carl’s. Bacon Swiss Big Chicken Fillet — $ 5.69 — Usually decent, but definitely worse at this location/visit, The LT at the bottom, made the bun soggy and the chicken was a bit dry. I would still recommend it at most Carl’s locations though. The tomato was definitely old, and may have tasted off if I didn’t have the bacon and swiss. Jalapeño Poppers — $ 1.49 w/coupon — Usually ok, very overpriced without the coupon, pretty standard fast food poppers, not much flavor and tastes like microwave food although this is what I expected. Big Chicken Fillet — $ 4.69 — had a BOGO coupon, decent, just like the Bacon Swiss version expect without, you guessed it, the bacon swiss. This causes the chicken to be dry, but the lettuce and tomato at the bottom cause the bun to be soggy. Chicken Tenders Combo — $ 5.00 w/coupon — Again, usually good at the other locations, just tasted bland here. Came with fries and a drink, the fries were probably the best part of the meal, although it seemed that they gave me dollar menu size instead of small. Overall I felt that the food was worse here than other Carl’s locations(I seem to notice a trend with Palmdale better than Lancaster). That being said, I may be saturated with getting the same Carl’s meal over and over, so I won’t penalize the rating because of the food quality. Service: The guy who took my order accepted all of my coupons, although he seemed confused and lazy at times. Later I asked him to bring us sauce and he took a really long time to get back to us. At the other locations I usually ask for this delicious Habanero sauce they have, but here he said they didn’t have it(could be that the promotion ended). The one he gave me instead was called«Sante Fe» sauce and it was yucky and mayo based(which he warned me about). Ambience: This is where the score takes the biggest hit… They have a Green Burrito Salsa bar, where you can get Jalapenos to put on your sandwiches etc. that’s nice. The problem I had was with some of the other characters around. There was an obvious drug addict with needle marks and bandages all over his arms and head, passed out on his backpack in the middle of the seating area throughout the duration of our meal. Later another addict came in walked and looked around the entire seating area and then disappeared into the bathroom. The first addict got up at the end of our meal and stumbled around before heading out. I understand that there are interesting characters around the AV, but there should have been something done, at least about the sleeping addict. Overall, I highly recommend Carl’s Jr. if you have the mail coupons, but would not recommend this location, especially if you are eating in.

It seems as if everytime i have gone here they don’t have something in stock. My husband loves their oreo shakes, but for some reason they are always«cleaning the shake machine» staff is also nor friendly at all. I went inside one time and was waiting there for about 5 minutes to get service. Even though employees were walking around back and forth. I only order thru thwir carls jr section because i have gotten sick with their green burrito section twice already with different orders.

Charged us for«double meat» we didn’t order, no refund. After 30 minutes we went up and they lost our order. When we did get our food our to-go order wasn’t. Our fries were also wrong. Cokes had no syrup. $ 23.00 for two cheeseburgers.

My husband and I have visited this Carls Jr. before but todays visit was very disturbing. Once we received our order, the criss cut fries were cold, we sent it back, checked on food, the box his mini burritos came in had stains and food particles all over it, next his drink order which was suppose to be an ice t, was mixed with soda. Last but not least, I had a spicy chicken sandwich which had been microwaved with the lettuce included so it was hot and wilted. It was a very disturbing visit. They were not even busy in the drive thru or inside for our order to be so horrible. They may need new management and quickly before they disappoint the wrong person and find themselves shut down.

Nobody actually reads a review before eating at a fast food restaurant do they? So I’m thinking maybe the owner of this location might see this, but based on the other reviews and no changes made it won’t matter. This location should be watched closely by corporate. It is giving Carls a bad name. How hard can it be to have adequate staffing, double check orders before delivering them and simply be polite to customers? My guess is 1⁄3 of all orders go out missing items or are just wrong. How about this… have a supervisor or owner randomly check orders and when they are found to be wrong, fire the responsible person on the spot? Oh yeah, they are already short handed and there wouldn’t be anyone left. Perfect, problem solved! The place could close and save customers the aggregation. Nothing worse than spending over $ 40 then driving home with people waiting only to find the order is missing items. Going back, waiting in a line with only one register being used. Wait for missing items, get no apology whatsoever and drive home after everyone is done eating. Mistakes happen. But when it happens over and over one would think it somebody would do something about it. Waste of time and money.

We went to this Carl’s Jr. last night for a quick bite. Horrible horrible horrible. They were rude and extremely nasty. It took them forever to give us our food and when we finally got it was cold. They didn’t even give us the receipt. The food is very unacceptable to serve to customers. I already contacted corporate about the problem. Most likely they won’t do anything. These employees need to learn about customer service because they don’t have any sense of knowing it. This place either needs to step up or they will be closed! Food should be hot not cold!

Always, and I do mean always, every time we use the drive through, they tell us to park. They do this because they are graded on the time waiting in the drive through, once you go and park, it so reported to the corp office as a completed order, even though you are waiting in the parking lot. Food is ok, they cannot make a burrito that does not fall apart.

This Franchise should be CLOSED! The staff and management are like the Three Stooges! It took them 25 minutes to fill my order and it wasn’t that busy in there. How long should it take to make one hamburger? And when I got it, the burger was cold. I tossed it in the trash and went to Pollo Loco next door to Carl’s. Good food there!

I eat here at least 2X per month… The food is always excellent! If I go through the drive thru, they always screw something up, so I tend to go in. Last night, we ordered dinner in the drive thru. They ruined my whole meal. I only like the criss cut fries if accompanied by a side order of cheese sauce(which I pay $ 1.29 for). This time, they must have been low… someone added a lot of water to the cheese sauce. It was like very thin soup and disgusting. So… I try to call to complain… and the number on the receipt,(and the internet)…is a fax line. For the same price, I’ll go to Primo across the street… and get what I want… and good customer service!

I hate when they send the drive thru to wait in the front when there is no one behind me .the company spends all this money on a timed system for the benefit of a fast transaction and the employee/managment cheat the system at the same time inconviencing the consumer.

Regular Carl’s Jr. fast food. However, I usually go in the mornings and their drive thru customer service sucks. The lady I usually encounter is so rude. Of course you have to be nice regardless of her attitude, cause who knows what would happen if you weren’t! If she treats you so poorly when you’re nice to her, how would she treat you if you weren’t. As a result, I try to avoid this Carl’s Jr. even though it’s close to my destination.

I would NOT recommend this location solely based on my drive thru customer service experience. I could not believe how rude this employee was. I couldn’t ask a question without her constantly saying, «Do you want to make that a combo?» I continued to ask the same question, «Could you add guacamole to my low carb burger?» She stated, «I cannot tell you unless you tell me if you want a combo.» I finally relented, but you can imagine I was completely stunned. I asked the employee at the window was that her I just spoke with, she immediately said it was not, but pointed behind her. She also stated she wasn’t sure who took our order(wow, really?). I wish I knew the drive thru employee’s name, I would report her directly to Carl’s Jr Corporate Office Headquarters.

This carls Jr has the WORST customer service. Today my family and I ordered food from there(almost a $ 50 bill) we only live about 3 minutes away so my dad and I went through the drive thru, ordered our food and were asked to pull around front to wait for the order then went home. When we finally got our food they left out a cheeseburger we ordered and all our fries were ICECOLD. I called them to speak with a manager and«the woman in charge» was so rude to me. I told her the situation about the fries and the missing burger, rather then apologizing for their mistake she tells me she bagged the fries herself and they were just fine AND that we didn’t order what had been missing. I work in food service and I know the moto no matter what is the customer is always right and she insisted I was wrong. My family and I will NEVER be going back to this place again.

This is a nice Carl’s Jr. The exterior and interior are attractive and well maintained. Even the bathrooms are clean. It’s a quick and convenient stop from either direction on the 14. I tried the loaded omelet biscuit and coffee for breakfast this morning was not disappointed. For a fast food place, the biscuit was a beautiful light golden brown and flaky, if a little too buttery. I had to repeatedly wipe the grease off my fingers. The cheese was melty and did not taste overly fast foodish. The Channel Islands coffee was hot and, while not Starbucks quality, not bitter at all. All in all a good visit. This location is also a Green Burrito.

I like Carl’s Jr, but I really wish this one would get it’s act together. They leave something out of my order every single time I go there. You would think they would have time to get it right, since they make me pull over and wait ten minutes for them to bring it out. Would it really hurt their employees to double check the order to the receipt?

This place rocks for a fast food joint!!! There has never been a time where the wait exceeds the preparation… I wish other chains would stop by to see how it is done!!! I have never had a botched order!!!
