I received the box of chocolate covered fruit from my son in California. (Strawberries, Apples and Bananas). What a pleasant surprise. NOT!
*The strawberries, which were dipped in Chocolate arrived with dark green, dry leaves to the point of crumbling. How old do you think the Strawberries were? I have no idea, so I wouldn’t eat them!
*The apple slices looked delicious.. .. until I turned them over and saw the brown spots on them. Really?
*I can’t tell you about the Bananas since they were completely covered with chocolate and I was afraid to try one.
No, he didn’t send them from California; he ordered them from California and the Roherstown Road location delivered them on Thursday, as promised. Since I saw how much my son paid for them, I thought a review was necessary to «Let Buyer Beware.» Don’t have your gift delivered; pick it up yourself so you can see what you are giving!
