Very good Mexican food and the staff is always friendly even when working very hard. I have a feeling if some people treated others with respect, they might get the same in return and a better dining experience overall. Not true everywhere, but I have no complaints about the service here. For my tastes it’s the best Mexican restaurant in Lancaster(«gringa» status notwithstanding) and relatives that I’ve brought here liked it as well.

Ever go to a place that had such horrible customer service all you had to say was«wow?» I had such high expectations for this place, I myself, was lured by the good reviews and even the management’s «commercial» that they have on here. Our waiter tonight was friendly but FORGOT about us basically throughout our whole meal! After serving us our meals he never checked if we needed anything, I would have ordered another margarita but this guy was just f*cking around in the back. When we were done with our meal we were there for over 30 mins just sitting there, he never asked if we needed boxes, never gave us our check, yet we can see him just chillin there. He saw us staring at him! We had to ask the«water waiter» who was actually working for our boxes… We sat there again for another 5 minutes in disbelief and even saw this«water waiter» nudge our server and ask him what was up. This water waiter ended up giving us our check, seriously?! You’re gonna forget about us and give us sh*tty service and not have the balls to give us our check? After we signed the bill he then came to us and thanked us and told us to have a good night, oooookaaay. The«owners» were sitting at the table in front of us and saw our frustration and didn’t do squat, they just looked down. I would have talked to them but I just wanted to pay for our meal and gtfo. So folks, why dine at an establishment that doesn’t respect your hard earned money? The food is mediocre, better than El Torito, I’ll give them that. Plus, the ONE margarita I got to try was watery as hell. So why? Trust me guys learn from me and just go elsewhere.

Super good Mexican food and the service isn’t terrible. Karaōke is cool but it seems like all the do are these damn country songs! Like sad ass slow country songs!

I read some reviews that this place is not authentic… but a friend recommended it to me. We went with a group of 5 adult and 5 eleven year old boys. The menu had some unique and traditional plates. kids all ate there food. All of the adult loved their choices. I ate the Carnitas enchiladas. not traditional but tasty. My wife had the Mazatlan enchiladas… she loved them. Food is good… portion on the smaller side and prices are ok. Its a good choice. Oh Margaritas are strong«10+»!

Well I haven’t been here for a couple years due to crappy service, thought we would try it again. Big mistake!!! I was meeting friends there, they said they had no reservations for us even though they did and the rest of the party was already seated, finally found them. It took 30 minutes to get menus and an hour to get our food which was cold. This place is ridiculous! I don’t blame the server I blame management for under staffing. Save yourself a trip and go somewhere else like The Rusten House where there is good service and great food. Oh and as we were leaving some people were yelling at the server that there was a bottle cap in their child’s soda.

I truthfully do not understand why this place has such good ratings. My experience there today left me very unsatisfied. The food is unauthentic, horrible quality, and just simply tastes BAD. As a Latino, I will say this place doesn’t serve Mexican food. It’s a cheap imitation being sold at the price of the real thing. Safe to say, we’ll never go back there.

Atmosphere is great, food portion is great! However the food was kinda bland. Food presentation is great, taste wise was disappointing. Would only go for happy hour, feel paying full price is not ideal.

I lived in the AV for quite a while and have driven by this place quite a bit I never actually stopped to have something to eat until recently, me and my family tried the breakfast brunch after church and I must say it was phenomenal. They spared no expense on the authenticity everything was pretty authentic they had a large variety of different Mexican foods, everything from chili riano’s to shrimp Diablo, Mexican juices like Horchata and pineapple. I ordered guacamole and chips and the server actually made it right in front of our table. It was a little packed and it took about 20 minutes for us to be seated but it was worth the wait. It was a little pricey, my billing was slightly over hundred dollars for five of us considering it was a straight buffet order. However I was pretty satisfied with the food so I didn’t mind it so much, they were little busy and I believe the owner helped out staff without mentioned he was the owner which was pretty awesome. I had mentioned something to him in passing and he rolled up the sleeves and jumped in, he didn’t have to say it was the owner however the certain swag, you just kind a knew. I highly recommend this place to anybody was in the AV looking for a good place to eat, you definitely won’t be disappointed. I hear they have an awesome happy hour on Friday and Saturday evenings, I’ll keep you posted on that. Five stars all the way

I have deleted my recent reviews off this restaurant. I, nor my family, will be going back. The food is lackluster and service appears to have gone down. I am sorry for this business that has such a long history in the Antelope Valley.

This was the worse place to eat and celebrate my moms 87 birthday. I made reservations for 50 people a month in advance they said they could accomodate up to 60. It was only 40 of us when we got to the place nothing was set up they only gaved us one waitress to take orders for 40 people. We didnt get the food till 2 hours later and wrong orders. Food was not cooked right and cold we didnt get refills of water or anything else. My moms food was the last to come and it was wrong my guest were so upset and wanted to just cancel orders. So again worse birthday ever for my mom and we still paid for all even thou it was horrible i felt bad for the waitress which had no help but one guy.

This is probably the worst experience I have ever had here. Don’t come here if they have a party of 20+ already sitting down. We have been sitting and waiting for our food for approximately 50 minutes. Yes!!! I know, 50 long freaking minutes. I am stuffed with chips, they are quite delicious. However, it’s completely unacceptable that I am full on chips and no longer hungry. Now, I am going to pay a tab that I did not even enjoy. Plus my friend got super angry and made things uncomfortable, and it’s all their fault. Not to mention that he has labeled me as the guy with bad luck. They need to really step up their game. Just to wrap up the night… My friends better half found a piece of glass in her food… Now I’m really wondering… What is going on in the kitchen…

Great place to get happy hour drinks! Starts at 3pm-8pm. Buy 2 drinks and get free happy hour food buffet at the bar section. We usually hang out in the bar section. We ordered a few items from their menu. One of their best food is their Steak Salad which comes with a breaded chile on top of the salad. Choose the Jalapeño Ranch dressing which fits great with the taste. Parking is packed during peak hours but aside from that, you can usually grab a parking spot close by.

Worst Mexican restaurant I’ve been to!!! First started off with trash in the water cup second they bring cold chips with salsa that taste like catch-up third our order came and it was wrong and when I brought it to their attention they made it seem like what they brought me was what I ordered. The margarita we ordered had no liquor in it. The worst karaōke I’ve ever seen in my life! Never again if you see this place I advise you to run away!

Stopped in on a suggestion of co-workers. The guac was made table side and was excellent. The staff was courteous, timely, and the meal was a good value.

I give them two stars only because the flavor of their food is AMAZING, their service is cool, but there’s always something to turn me off. Like tonight, I’m eating chips and salsa since we’re here for happy hour and I realize there is something in the salsa, I check it out and what do you know, A HAIR ugh!! So annoying but whatever I just ordered another one since I’m a little tipsy(haha). And the nachos were cold my fork was dirty sucks but the food and drinks are still good so oh well smh.

I don’t blame the employees, I blame management for not being prepared in a stressful situation. If you know all Mexican restaurants will be busy for Cinco De Mayo let alone taco Tuesday, then why not have the restaurant fully staffed? We wanted to stay local for Cinco De Mayo so we decided to have dinner at Don Cuco’s. The wait time was around 40 minutes and people all around us were already upset. Once we sat down, it took another 20 minutes to get our drinks and food order. I seriously think it was about 30 – 40 minutes to finally get our dinner, but the worst part that got me upset was my little sisters chicken strips were not fully cooked(see picture). We told management and the best they could do for us was to discount our drinks. So there you have it Unilocalers, don’t visit this place when it’s a holiday.

Was pretty low-key on a Sunday night. Maybe because it’s Easter. The food here really reminds me of the tex-mex style. I got the camerones diablo. It comes with rice and beans. The portion was huge, i only finished the shrimp. The shrimp was good, and it’s bigger than the ones Red Lobster serves. This dish also packs quite some heat. It’s not super spicy, but the combination of temperature and spice made it muy caliente. I was sweating while eating my dinner. All in all, this restaurant is pretty good. Food was good, service was good. I need to try more of their dishes for a better rating. 3⁄5 will do for now. FYI: complimentary chips and salsa if you dine in.
