This place as of March 2016 has a perfect five stars. I’m not one to ruin this. For good reason. The custard and ice is delicious, the owner is extremely polite, and the restaurant is clean and professional. I’ll be back here real soon, absolutely lovely business

I LOVED their mango Italian ice! Had to wait 30 minutes but definitely worth it! And if you’re in the military, they offer military discount! Will definitely come back for more mango!

Great place! The owner(I think), Patrick was awesome! I came in for the first time because I had a gift certificate. When it was time to pay, gave him the certificate and he told me that the cert was for the five and dime candy store next door. It was confusing because the cert had zero degrees on it too. I was willing to pay the whole bill but he said he would take the cert and work it out with the candy store. Thanks Patrick! I wish your establishment the best of luck and I’m more than happy to support your business.

Yum! Great flavor combos in a cute shop. Not site about the Bubble Gum and Root Beer concoction my daughter dreamed up, but everyone loved the color changing spoons. Downtown Lancaster is adorable, and this shop is a great addition.

Yum. Clean, friendly, and delicious. Can’t believe it took me so long to come in! Tried the chocolate custard and coconut Italian ice. OMG. The lady compared it to a mounds bar, however I will disagree because I don’t like those and this was fabulous. Clean, friendly staff, good choices. Will definitely return.

Zero Degrees is the place to go for amazing Custard and frozen treats. Its located on Lancaster Blvd adjacent to Bex Restaurant. Walking in, the décor is cute and boutique like with a variety of candy and small unique gifts displayed. There’s a cute white posh lounge area with a few tables to sit to enjoy your treats. Since it was my first time, The owner was super helpful and very sweet. We were able to try a variety of flavors before choosing. My favorites were the watermelon and melon with the custard as well. Will definitely be back when in the area and I’m so excited to try the other flavors.

I’ve been here a few times before, but my girlfriend is from out of state & never had frozen custard, so I decided to bring her here. Like always, the food quality was great; the custard was soft & creamy and the service area was very clean. This particular day, we were served by an employee named Jordan. She was tending to a small family before us. The entire time, she had an upbeat & bubbly personality-very suiting of an ice cream parlor. Being my typical indecisive self when it comes to ordering food, I couldn’t decide on a topping. When I finally did, she suggested that I interlace the toppings with layers of the custard I chose. GENIUS. I’m going to be doing this from now on. Customer service has become incredibly underrated, especially in SoCal, where we have all become jaded & complacent, and even worse in the Antelope Valley. She could’ve easily gone through the«expected» routine of her job, and still would’ve had a good experience, due to the food quality & store cleanliness, but Jordan went above & beyond, and judging from her demeanor & personality, it was obvious to me & my girlfriend that this is simply her nature & not doing it for the sake of her job. Great frozen custard & an amazing level of service that –coming from a foodie, has VERYRARELY been seen. Jordan without a doubt-in my mind, needs a fat raise and/or needs to be in charge of employee training. Thanks for the great experience! Will most definitely be back!

We had never experienced the joy of Italian custard and ice, and the staff was super helpful in giving us samples to pick the perfect combo. A great Saturday treat for the family.

Really nice staff. While the custards and ice may be Zero Degrees, the people working here treat you like hot stuff, at least 98 degrees. For our Arctic Combo, I asked if I could go w/three flavors and they happily obliged even though that meant some serious portion re-sizing to fit all three flavors in the cup. As far as custards and Italian ice combos go, I really enjoyed Zero Degrees. IMO it is better than the two notable Italian ice/custard combo places in the OC — Joe’s and Frostbites. It’s better than Rita’s IMO. All the flavors we had were really good. This included the custard: Rum raisin and rocky road. Vibrant flavors that were creamy and richer than I expected. For Italian ice we had the Mango flavor which was the right level of tart and was not bland or watery at all which most other ices tend to be. It tasted more like a real mango than artificial flavoring and like Martha used to say, that’s a good thing. I personally thought the best part was the soft-serve frozen yogurt on top. It was creamy and delicious. Easily one of the creamiest and smoothest soft-serve fro-yos I’ve ever had. Oh and those color changing spoons are a nice touch! That 10% off Unilocal Check-in ain’t too shabby either! The guy working here said he loves Unilocalers too.

I went here the other day after work. It was so good! I had never heard of Italian ice before and frozen custard wasn’t a regular for me. So I was a little skeptical at first, but I trusted the other good Unilocal reviews and I’m glad I did! I got one of their frozen combos with chocolate custard, pistachio Italian ice and strawberry custard. It was a great combination and reminded me of Neapolitan ice cream. Some of the Unilocal pictures had me thinking the Italian ice was some sort of liquid between the two custards. It is not, its really just an icy form of ice cream and the custard is a thick form of ice cream. I think the flavors I got are probably the best, as well as the mocha flavor. I tried the cherry ice and it didn’t really have any flavor and the mango was to fruity for me. The staff was friendly and had no problem letting me try the different flavors. I would definitely recommend trying it. Its a great addition to the boulevard and I will be coming back. It is on the pricey side with a small artic combo being a little over four dollars.
