I was looking to get an extra couch and some chairs for our basement, so I stopped in at this Raymour and Flanagan to take a look. Previously I’ve been checking out Wayfair and Overstock and they have some great looking, modern stuff, but I’m a bit leary about buying a couch without sitting in it. Anyway, the prices at this branch were definitely affordable, with some couches priced under $ 350. But I found the entire selection to be very dated and boring. The color choices seemed to range from light beige to dark beige with the occasional light blue recliner thrown in. Seeing such awful furniture made me think for a second that I’d been transported back to my grandparents house in the 1980’s. As far as materials go, the leather couches felt fake or cheap to me, though the fabric couches seemed decent enough. The staff here wasn’t terrible. Just a quick greeting and no stalking(as you sometimes see in furniture stores), so that was appreciated. But I simply couldn’t find anything to follow up about. The stock was just awful. Not the place for me unfortunately. Two stars.

HORRIBLESERVICE! the woman who sold us a mattress had NOIDEA what she was doing. would have sold us the wrong sized bed frame, but another sales associate came over and corrected her. The delivery was terrible. We were promised that the time window which we were assigned was easy to change and when we tried to change it the woman(same one who sold us the mattress) was very rude. Twice we were never called about the delivery window, and the one time that we were, the delivery men showed up an hour early. when i spoke to the manager about it he was incredibly condescending. I am not one to write reviews, but i felt that i had to. If nothing else it’s a way for me to vent. this experience was SO inconvenient and frustrating. do yourself a favor and skip raymour and flanigan all together. Sleepy’s is your best bet.

Went in this morning with my husband for a sectional. We were greeted at the door by a man in his late 60s, who asked us what he could help us find. We stated that we were just browsing. He then asked us what for so we said a sectional with a chase. He showed us three separate sectionals, then my husband thanked him and said we were going to browse by ourselves to see what we can find. For the next 20 minutes, he followed us around the store silently just staring and watching us. When we managed to walk away, we would see him staring from the other section of the store then again, would come hover over us silently. He made us feel very uncomfortable. We left empty handed.

The store has pretty nice displays to give you tons of decorating ideas and the inventory changes often enough to make multiple trips worthwhile. I tend to shop a lot for smaller tables lamps rugs etc. so I like to stop in every few months. The staff is very professional and not pushy as in other furniture stores — they ask you if you need help then let you wonder on your own which is great because I know what I like and don’t need a hovering sales person.
