Bridal solutions is a hidden gem in the south suburbs and «Dress momma» (the shop owner) is second to none. After going to several bridal boutiques, I was very discouraged and ready to give up looking for a wedding dress. I am not your typical bride. I did not dream of being a bride since childhood. So to say I did not know where to begin is an understatement.
I started by trying all the dresses… that looked like a princess… lots of lace, tulle, etc. to put it practically they looked ridiculous on me and I felt ridiculous. I think my best friend could feel my despair and desperation. She suggested Bridal Solutions. At first look bridal solutions didn’t fit my couture desires. The front window look very much like a prom boutique… but hey when all hope is lost you begin to look anywhere, so I decided to give it a shot. How could i find here what I could not find anywhere else?
I went in poked around and soon decided this place wasn’t for me. I was getting ready to leave when «Dress Momma» handed a dress to me. I took one look and told her, «no.» She asked me to try it on a couple of times, but I still refused; finally she said, «you try on. You don’t have to buy.» She was serious she wasn’t going to let me leave without trying on this one dress. To appease «Dress Momma» I tried it on. Wow! I tried it on and it was the one! Classy, sophisticated, no frills or fuss but dynamic all the same.
The difference between Bridal solutions and other places is Dress Momma knows what looks good on you, won’t waste your time, and provides superior service.
After I purchased the dress I lost 3 dress sizes. She then altered the dress at no additional cost, 4 weeks before the wedding!
To say I was happy is the understatement of the year. Thank you Dress Momma you made the impossible, possible!
