Burlington Coat Factory

If this Burlington Coat Factory (BCF) location is so-​called «unprofessionally ghetto,» then I would rather be with these ghetto folks because my experience at this location was nothing but pleasant!
I don’t typically frequent BCF because I like what their competitors’ (Mama TJ and Daddy Marshall) products better in general. Hubby happened to work on a service call in the Ultra Foods in the same plaza, so I sneaked out and took a walk in the store.
I was going to get $ 5-​worth of whatever I could find because I still owned a BCF gift card I received two (2) years ago. Hey, I actually was enjoying myself this time around because I was actually able to see each and every product laid out right in front of me! I’ve been very tired of merchandise getting «double-​stacked» like an Oreo cookie at most of the BCF locations. Bottles of body/​facial/​hair products weren’t «opened» like post-​drunk beer cans; clearances sections didn’t look like massacres.
The sales associates were professional. The cashier was very friendly and apologized for the «wait.» Did I even wait for getting rung up? I didn’t remember. If waiting for one (1) minutes at the check-​out area was unacceptable, you gotta be joking, right? Anyways, she was very kind.
Perhaps choosing the right time of the day to shop at BCF really matters. I’ve given them a four (4)-star review for my enjoyable shopping experience this morning.

This store is absolutely awful. How are you a coat factory and have so little coats for girls. I was so disappointed and will not be returning to this store. If I could give it zero stars, I would have.

This place is a mess. Clothes all over the floors and no one there to help you. It’s a shame you go for a coat and a whirlwind of coats everywhere but on hangers. If you go, go in with lots of time to search and then wait in a ridiculously long check out line.

BEWARE!!! Do NOT SHOP HERE! This location is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, GHETTO, & RUDE!!! I absolutely hate this location, every time I go here the employees are SLOW, IMPOLITE, bitchy, and ignorant! They take at least 15 – 20 minutes ringing up each customer, they do not believe in great customer service and they wouldn’t even allow me to do a return on a defective product!!! I will NEVER, EVER, EVERRRRR SHOP AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN! I will take my money elsewhere, to another establishment who respects customers and put them first. This location is a disgrace! And minimum wage workers expect $ 15 an hour?! I think NOT! If I could give this location 0 stars, I would!

Great buys but awful service. Right now there are 11 people in line and only three checkouts open…

I went two different Burlington Coat Factories this weekend. (They are both right off the Dan Ryan, so I stopped at the one at 87^th & the Dan Ryan on the way to this one by River Oaks).
This store is huge, clean, well laid out, has good fitting rooms, has clothing nicely arranged on the hangers, and is pretty cheap.
This store is a bit larger and has more stuff than the one on 87^th street.
Both stores had great deals!

Seriously, anyone that is in need of nice winter coats, get your ass over here and take advantage of sales on Kenneth Cole, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein and other big names.
I got a Kenneth Cole coat originally priced at $ 400 for $ 79. What a deal!!! Also, if you do not want to pay outrageous prices for the cologne at Macys, they got some of the same brands for a much better price and without the lotion and after shave balm I never use.
