They have the best sandwiches and the cheese is not to overbearing so you can enjoy the fresh ingredients and heavenly crunch of the bread.

Eh honestly just ok. My hubby was saying it was pretty good and we were out that way so decided to try it. First off, it was freezing in there. Granted they had opened about 30 minutes prior but brrr it was cold. I was hoping the warm grinder would warm me up but not so much. I got the chicken parm sandwich, which was advertised as a breaded chicken. Probably what you think of as chix parm. Not so much. Little chunks of like a grilled chicken. I would try it again but based on that sandwich I could take it or leave it.

Picked up dinner tonight I ordered the Chicago Steak… and the hubby the Chef Salad… only reason they are not getting all the stars is because they did not have Blue Cheese dressing for his salad and we had to use our own… other then that for the price the salad was amazingly huge !! And my Chicago Steak grinder is delicious… ask for more garlic spread it makes it even more delicious… bread is perfect and so was the sandwich. The gentleman that took care of me was nice and polite.

Awful experience! Ordered two whole grinders and waited 25 minutes just to find out they took my order wrong. Their systems are out of date. They were out of soup. Ten minutes later we got the right food. The Italian Combo was good and the Chicken Parm was not so good. I’m going to stick with a one star rating because on top of all this, they only deliver to businesses. SMH. Probably won’t be back anytime soon.

Best sandwich ever. They are busy with carry out orders as well as walk ins. It’s a good thing that it takes a bit longer than other sandwich places… everything made to order, not microwaved

It took 30 minutes to get a sandwich that was not how I ordered it, very disappointed for my first time trying it. Glad I ordered the soup, it was excellent.

So I’m here at Mancino’s in Lansing, IL. wanting to taste one of there famous grinders, and there closed… not technically but the ovens are OFF30 minutes before the place closes… unacceptable. If your establishment is NOT going to be open during the times advertised then say we close at 9:30, not 10pm. So needless to say because of that minor detail… I WON’T BEBACKHERE!!! I’ve worked in the food industry before, and when we say we close at a certain time, that’s the time we close, doors locked, if you’re in the restaurant great, if it’s pass closing see you tomorrow, or whenever. Unlocked doors to an establishment means…“Welcome, and thanks for patronizing our establishment,” not, «sorry we just turned the ovens off… we’re closed.» Oh well :-(

I have been coming here for years and it’s just as good as day one. Pizza is good but the grinders are the best! I love the pizza grinder! I also get the Italian beef grinder a lot and that is really good too. A full size sandwich is enough for 2 people or two days worth of food. I love that they bake their own bread and that the cheese is melted on to it. Went today and had really good service too :) Someone on here said the food is microwaved? Well they are liars… everything is super fresh!

I stopped in to get a grinder and decided on an Italian beef grinder. I ordered it dipped bc I’m from the south side and that’s how we like our beef! The sandwich came out dipped with a side of au jus. The beef was excellent, juicy and very tender and not salty like many other beefs. I was very impressed with the bread and the very nice owner told me all their bread is made fresh in house ! I want to come back and try their famous chicken grinder! Highly recommend this place for the great food and the owner is a doll!

I don’t know what kind of mongloids gave this place anything above a 2 star rating. Everything was microwaved and awful. I got the Stromboli grinder and my colleague got the chicago steak grinder. And by steak I mean ground chuck. Avoid this dump. If you gave this place a good review I consider you a communist.

Among the top 5 best sangwiches I’ve ever had! For my first visit I had the«Chicago Steak» sangwich and it was PHENOMENAL. I have never had a steak sangwich anywhere in Chicago or Illinois that tasted even remotely like a Philly Cheese Steak, but this was absolutely as close as it gets without going to South Street. Served on garlic bread — brilliant. Mancino’s is my newest habit and I will gladly drive from Highland any day of the week to eat another one of their sangwiches!

If you looking for a good chicken sandwich or rib eye steak sandwich Mancino’s is the place. They have what they call GRINDERS. One word awesome

I had a carryout order of their very good 18″ «grinder» subway sandwich(grilled chicken in this case). This goes for $ 12.61. They also have a 9″ grinder that goes for $ 6.81. Bread was fresh and baked daily. I finished da whole thing for lunch(why you ask??, must have been internalized peer pressure), and pretty much skipped dinner! Look forward to having another some day, but I’ll probably not do 18″ again in one sitting.

i dont get here as much as i want to… its one of those places you dont think about if your not driving by… nestled in the cute little downtown section of Lansing… a good place for toasted subs… they were around before Quizno’s daddy had that gleem in his eye… lots of locations around the South Bend area i was told… lots of different subs to choose from, or make up your own… a couple of my favorites are the BLT, or a beef with shrooms and swiss… word to the newbies if you order an sandwich that will have lettuce… remind them to put it on AFTER its been toasted… cooked lettuce? not a good thing… one of the things l like how they do thier sammiches… they lay the toppings on and toast them open faced… gets my cheese nice an melty the way i like it :-) they have pizza too, but take a pass on that… a few tables inside and outside too…
