This is a restaurant with terrible service… waited 20 min. With no waiter insight… Finally got up and left but not before telling owner our plight… No apology from owner… Since then I’ve heard the food is as bad as the service… Don’t bother

Ridiculous The only reason I went back was because the owner asked us to give him another chance after a Trip Advisor review. We had reservations and arrived promptly, unfortunately it seemed like no one knew we were comming. We told our greeter and waitress that we were invited by the owner for a comped meal again no onw knew. When asked where the owner was we wwre told he was in the kitchen and we asked for himto come out. Two minutes later we were informed that he left and they called him and he said to go ahead and comp us app, main, and desert. Now that was strange he invited us and never even greeted us. I saw him leave and come back bust still never came over. I ordered the charcuterie and branzio en parchment, my wife ordered the eggplant and veal scaloppini. The charcuterie was thin sliced deli meat the eggplant was ok. The branzio arrived in aluminum foil with inedible vegetables on the side, the fish stuck to the foil and was overcooked and tasteless. The veal was also inedible it wasnt pounded and was about ¼ inch thick and tough as hell. We passed on desert and asked for our check and the total so we could tip on the entire meal. Well it took 15 minutes for that and then we were charged for one of the apps. 20 minutes later they(the manager) finally got the bill straight. Based on the total incompetence of the staff and manager we did not tip on the entire meal but left a tip regardless. Seriously dont go here oh and btw we never saw the owner.

If I could give a negative star I would. Extremely over priced for the food you receive. Walk 25 feet across the street to Marios and you will be in heavan…

Went there with my boyfriend and grandparents. I was unhappy with the water glass because it had been poorly cleaned(there was lipstick on the rim of the glass). I ordered a Caesar salad and asked to split it with my boyfriend. I was impressed that they came out with 2 plates and had already split the salad for us, but shortly dissatisfied with the fact that they even sliced the small bread in half — very cheap of them. The servers made us feel rushed. Kept cleaning the plates up as we took our last bite… There was no need to rush, it was a slow Monday evening. Although, we weren’t happy with the glass, service and side salad bread slice. The food was delicious.

Where do I start with the absolute terrible service and incompetence. I felt like I was in the movie Dumb & Dumber with Loyd and Harry as my waiters. The kicker of this movie is our bus boy was Forrest Gump, and he was the smartest of the 3. First waiter had very broken English taking our drink order, mind you we are a party of 24 which doesn’t seem like it would be a problem being the restaurant is all but empty. He takes my order and another guest at the table requests that we get separate checks. He doesn’t agree with this and then goes off to ask another waiter about this. Comes back to confirm my drink order, then about 7 mins later comes back to talk about the checks again. I told him I don’t want anything at this point, and I went up to the bar to get my drinks. Bartender was another incompetent moron. She gives me a beer and a glass of wine charges me 15.00. I looked at the pour of the wine, and I asked if this was proper? She said she was sorry she should’ve opened another bottle for me and gave me a full pour. So if I didn’t say anything she was okay robbing me in other words. So now it is time to order dinner and moron #3 is taking the order. He starts with how he is going to divide the check again. I told him to stop talking about the damn check and take the f&*king order. He stares at me for 30 seconds in fury. I don’t care at this point, I had enough. I told him I will not be ordering an entrée which was a phenomenal decision on my part as the food absolutely sucked. My girlfriend gets a tenderloin sliced with avocado salad. It comes out with steak and guacamole, and the steak sucked. My friend across from me orders fettuccine and it comes out with grilled chicken on it that was sliced and pink in the middle. We told him not to eat it, the chicken is pink in the middle. The waiter comes over and we tell him the situation, and her replies«it wasn’t yours any ways» his wife flips out and tells him that’s not the point it’s not cooked. I don’t know how they are in business still, I tried a little bit of a few peoples food, and none of it was good. I guess there was a reason they were not full on a Saturday night in season for Palm Beach/Lantana. For the record I always respect any staff that waits on me with class and respect. I didn’t go to my friends birthday party to have a debate about checks with a staff that didn’t want to accommodate a simple request for separate checks. 24 people would probably be 12 different checks. I wish I could add pics of the raw chicken to this post. I’m sure the health department would love it.

I can’t believe this restaurant has been overall rated 3 stars. Their cuisine is ‘authentic Italian’…I can attest as I have traveled Italy extensively. It’s as good as it gets! The greeting, the service, the follow-up service was excellent, the Chefs’ attention to detail, exquisite breads, and wonderful entertainment; a very classy experience. Please give this establishment another try, or a first try.

Authentic Italian food. Farm to table. The chef Tony is incredible. Every dish prepared perfectly. What can I say about the service. 5 stars and would give it 8. Warm and friendly. After living in New York and traveling extensively I can tell you this restaurant is First Class in every aspect and one of the most beautiful we’ve ever dined in. You won’t be disappointed

Although the pasta was delicious, I would never recommend. Worst service I have ever had in a restaurant. I was astounded as to how bad it was. And crazy expensive.

Worst food ever. Chef Boyardee makes better pasta, no kidding. We were a party of 4 and three of us got really nasty pasta, overcooked and no flavor at all. A shame because the place is nice and there is a great atmosphere. We complained about our food and they gave us a courtesy«let me try again» chocolate cake that tasted that it was in the freezer for two weeks. Expensive food and low quality, the only good thing there was our waitress; she’s been there for only three weeks but she is experienced and provided us with good service. Do not waste your money going there, I talked to one of my friends who visited this restaurant a few months ago and his experience was at bad as ours.

Great ambience, and a menu that promises some experience of Calabrian Italian cooking is dashed by well meaning but inept service and execution of the dishes that is okay but lacks pop. I tried two things you don’t find much in the states, the fresh tomato soup with croutons and the spaghetti Botarga from the province in the ankle of Italy’s «boot». The soup was tasty but tepid, which diminished it. The spaghetti was horribly overcooked and squishy. It being low season and there being 8 people in the place, there was plenty of opportunity to impress, but what looked like hidden gold turned out to be fools gold. The restaurant has promise but the cooking has to come way up and they need a server AND a bartender instead of one hapless but pleasant fellow scurrying about.

Terrible food, but good service. Food tasted like it was out of a can. Steak was cooked poorly twice. Cook had an attitude. This restaurant prices its menu like a high end steak house but is anything but!

I’ve been here three or four times now. the staff are always funny, warm and typically laid back Italians. wonderful décor and great food. patio is beautiful and secluded. In fact, this is one of the nicer patios around. the owner’s love for the restaurant’s patron saint, Sophia Lauren, is obviously warranted and cool. great selection of homemade pasta. the bolognese and homemade fettuccine is excellent and all on its own is worth a visit. beet, arugula and goat cheese salad is great. the meatballs are the star of the show for appetizers. the real mystery here is how Mario’s across the street is so busy given the far superior atmosphere and wonderful food at paesano’s.

The place was. Early empty but I guess that’s ok since it’s semi new. The ambiance and design are great. The place seems like it belongs in Downtown Delray or Downtown Ft Lauderdale… seems a bit over the top for this area. Another major issue is that it is very hot inside. I’m sure they could make it colder by lowering the a/c so I’m not sure why they don’t. The waiter seemed new to the industry even though he was in his 30’s. Not refilling drinks quickly, not asking the entire table if we wanted appetizers or dessert… etc. there was a period of about 20 mins that I didn’t have any water in my glass. The meatball appetizer was very good. My main course was the bolognese and it wasn’t bad at all. However, for $ 18 the portion size could have been a bit bigger. Everyone at the table agreed that the portions were slightly small. For dessert I had to flag down the waiter to order a chocolate cake. It was pretty bad. Tasted like it was purchased at the supermarket and was hard like it just came out of the freezer an hour before. I was a bit disappointed but hope that this place irons out all the kinks in the future.

Came here on a Saturday night. Love the ambiance; the restaurant is beautiful and it feels very open(almost like being outside). We had the carpaccio for appetizer — very tasty. I had the lobster ravioli and my husband had the filet mignon with gorgonzola. Both were delicious and very well prepared. We also shared a tiramisu for dessert. Really enjoyed the experience and food.

2nd time here and it’s better than the 1st time… Which is very hard to believe… I had the branzino(spigola) cooked in tin foil and it’s phenomenal! My boyfriend had the homemade ravioli stuffed with pear and gorgonzola topped with fresh crab. This hidden gem needs to become not so hidden anymore!!! The chef is straight from Cicili and hands down it’s most definitely my favorite restaurant in town!

New open air restaurant(open 3 months). Excellent restaurant. Went recently on a Thursday evening(with reservation) and the restaurant was about one-third full. Our group had three different meals, veal marsala(melt in your mouth), lobster ravioli(excellent) and a linguine with pomodoro sauce with clams, mussels, shrimp & scallops(out of site tasty). Not cheap but the food was wonderful and the service was very attentive. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I came to eat there at Thursday evening. We had the filet with the au pointe. It was amazing. We sat at the bar with Alicia. She is such a sweet heart. Outstanding service we will definitely be back to see her. We were so stuffed, but next time she said we absolutely had to try the tiramisu. Great job paesano’s
