I’ve been to this restaurant twice now. The food is okay, the restaurant is very clean. However, the prices are very high for what you receive. I ordered their udon noodles with chicken last week — it was $ 11, and I barely received any chicken or vegetables. I find it to be one of the few healthier options in a city swarming with fast food restaurants, but not a good value for the price.

Love the teas. Very different atmosphere. My kids loved it. Not your typical local Asian restaurant.

Fail! FAIL! I ordered the chicken pad thai to go with a pineapple tea. Horrible! I am a major foodie and I love trying new places. The PADTHAI is gross. Orange orange, flavorless, tons of onion, &NOT good. I ate a few forkfulls and my stomach was in pain. To the plain eye this might look like delish and different especially in Laredo where pad thai restaurants are non existent. Save your money & make some fideo.

Sorry I really wanted to like this place. Food was bland. Mediocre at best. Teas are okay.

A very contemporary décor and one of the most eclectic and interesting menus in Laredo. Run by a Cantonese family, it features a variety of noodle and rice bowl entrees. BUT it also has salads, burgers, and wings as well. The strawberry chicken salad is «the best salad I have ever had,» according to my wife. I have had the fish and chips twice now, and it is one of the best fried fish dishes that I have ever had. I plan to have the Ka Burger next(a chicken and shrimp patty) or the seafood salad. Staff and owners are very friendly. Menu expanding all the time, they tell me.

Love this place! Everything on the menu is delicious but if u are looking for something satisfying and light get the phở soul. So good! All the drinks on the menu are mouth watering!

Delicious! Great service and great food. I had the Strawberry Chicken Salad(grilled). Generous portions and the price included a delicious tea. Highly recommend the Phở soup as well.

Like the place. The world of Asian food is transforming in Laredo. This place is a good addition, and it can turn into an addiction. Dishes are serve with one of their fruit tea mixes, which are notable. We had the wings, and they were a success. My daughter Andrea compared them to Plucker’s in Austin. Second the beef Phở, their fried rice and a Teriyaki. All flavorful. Good portions. Good background music. Clean and modern. The service was good, as they bring the food to your table with a smile. My reasoning on the lack of a fifth star is the plastic plates, takes the glamour out of any place.

Having heard my parents and others say great things about Ka for the past few months, I was very eager to try the next time I paid a visit to Laredo. Yesterday was«the» day. We ordered the Beef Phở, Pad Thai, Spring Rolls, Curry Bowl, and the Teriyaki Bowl. Upon arriving to our table, I was immediately turned off by the Phở for the reason that none of the«fixings» came with it. I personally love adding copious amounts of sprouts, cilantro, jalapeño peppers, and lime to my Phở, but was unable to do so because none of them were made available. Instead of the rich, deep flavors that make the soup what it is we were given a salty, watery, and bland soup that just flat out wasn’t good. Maybe it was Laredo good? Next, the Pad Thai. When I was placing my order I had initially asked for a mixture of chicken and shrimp, and was then told that EACH shrimp would cost an additional dollar. A dollar PER shrimp seems pretty ridiculous, I’ll stick with just the chicken thank you. Another immediate turn off, the Pad Thai was brought out on Styrofoam plates. Maybe if we would have paid the additional dollar per shrimp we’d been given a real plate? Taste wise, the Pad Thai lacked much of the flavors that I personally like, had an excess of sodium, and was a strange orange color(never had Pad Thai that was orange before). The Curry Bowl I did actually enjoy. Flavors were fairly good, but the protein portion(pork) was a little skimped out on. The Teriyaki Bowl was also fairly good. Didn’t lack on flavors and wasn’t bathed in Teriyaki sauce, which was nice. Lastly the Spring Rolls. Now, I’d love to tell you how delicious they are, but the waitress«didn’t hear» the order so no dice. Maybe she did us a favor? Believe me, I really wanted to like this place, but in my opinion it’s no-go. Kudos to the owner(s) for opening up something different in Laredo(much needed). Ka has so much potential and would love to see it thrive, but the quality of food does need a significant improvement. Keep your head up… I believe in you, Ka.

Got kind of bored of the place. was clean but didn’t think it was that pretty. Owners were friendly and recommend the curry that I was nervous of eating but turned out to be very good. The staff came off a little impatient and bugged when asked for assistance. And the teas a little pricy but shall try one sooner or later.

Great place, great food. The owners are so friendly. I recommend that you come eat here! If you like milk tea with boba, you should try it from here. I will definitely continue coming here.

Burgers drier than a stoners mouth and curry that taste like its a microwavable lunch meal. Along with the restaurants pricey specialty drinks, it’s exactly what Laredo needs to appease the hip and the privileged. Thank you ká!

I had the curry bowl and my wife had a teriyaki bowl, both pretty good. The place is very modern and clean. The teas were pretty tasty as well. A tad pricey but definitely like the place. We will go back soon.
