Stopped by this evening for a scoop of ice cream. All the ice cream was melted and could not be put on a cone because, as it was explained, «a co-worker unplugged the ice cream freezer». Really?! So they were serving ice cream soup!

Maybe it’s a «me» thing but I think every ice cream place should have vanilla and chocolate as a default. Sometimes you just don’t want«honey blossom» or «sea salt caramel». It’s good to be able to experiment and still have a known good.

The original three Twins ice cream shop opened up in a crummy shopping center in Terralinda not too far from my home many years ago. When it opened I thought it would have no chance and will be dead in the matter of months. Slowly after many years they gathered a following. I feel it was overpriced then and it still is. I bought a pint of the brownie batter chunk. And I am overwhelmed by the salty crunchy Ness of the brownie parts. Hey I get it The salty thing is very popular right now but I just find it disgusting.

Went here with my boyfriend on date night. I got the chocolate chunk with salted caramel on a waffle cone with oreo cookies as the topping. The ice cream flavors were ok, but not super flavorful or memorable. Plus the oreo cookie topping tasted stale :(The nice thing about this location is the fireplace outside which I really enjoyed!

Great ice cream shop! Recommend the lemon cookie ice cream in a waffle cone. They make the waffle cones in house!

Great Ice Cream. But management needs to look into their staff here. Very unfriendly. Went there with my 3 year old who was so excited to be there. Not a smile in sight when buying ice cream and over charged us a scoop to boot!

Stumbled upon Three Twins ice cream at Whole Foods. Bought it. Tried it. Loved it. I was really excited when I learned there were two store fronts not to far from me. My fiancé and I tried out the larkspur location and left extremely satisfied. We tried all the flavors we desired, even some they don’t sell in stores. You can make your own pint of whatever flavor you love as well. I love that they use local organic ingredients. The staff was friendly and just as enthusiastic about ice cream as we are. There is plenty of parking and it store in situated in a cute little shopping center. We will definitely be back.

Organic ingredients: check Delicious flavors: check Environmentally sound: check Their ice cream is insanely soft and creamy. My favorite has got to be the Lemon Cookie, which is your basic vanilla ice cream with lemon cream cookies spread throughout. The Milk Coffee doesn’t have enough coffee flavor to it, but still enjoyable, for sure. They do have some interesting flavors I haven’t even thought about trying like Dad’s Cardamom. They’re Land of Milk and Honey is surprisingly simple and clean but honestly, the creaminess of the ice cream really does it for me. My only real complaint is that if they don’t have the pints already pre-packaged in the fridge, they will hand-scoop a pint, but that’s an extra $ 1.75. Y SOMUCHMOREEXPENSIVE? :(All I want is my Lemon Cookie, but you always run out. :( So bottom line is, I love Three Twins and will drive to both their Marin locations searching for the Lemon Cookie, only to find out that they’ve run out of the pre-packaged stuff. I’m the sucker that pays the extra $ 1.75 for the hand packed stuff. Cheers to the elderly lady in front of us that wanted to try every flavor, while we wait anxiously for our little scoops of joy. Oh, and she left without actually buying any ice cream for herself.

Love Three Twins because they use organic ingredients and don’t add much crazy stuff in their ingredients. I got the cardamom and it was vanilla base with cardamom that wasn’t overpowering. Husband got the vanilla and strawberry flavors. Strawberry was flavorful especially it’s in season, it’s not bright pink so you know they don’t add coloring. Vanilla is good, it’s not boring at all. I like how they make small batch and don’t have too many flavors. Downside though is it’s not always kid friendly. My niece loves chocolate but had to settle with the strawberry flavor because they only had bittersweet chocolate, not really popular with kids.

I can’t pass this place without eating too much of my favorite flavor. Which one. Uh, … all of them. Great concept, sweetest counter staff anywhere, and the best ice cream. No room inside to sit but when its nice out there are a few tables outside. They recycle and live the green philosophy. Don’t ever stop making the Cardamom flavor, I would also request 2 no one seems to make. Licorice on for Halloween, but for all year long, especially spring and summer … Lemon chiffon. OMG, salivating now.

hit and miss good ice cream but overpriced. they really fall short on their ambitious/unusual flavors. the milk and honey flavor sounds interesting but is actually way too sweet. cardamom is overpowering as well. on the other hand, the salted caramel is undistinguished and lacking that nice salty sweet contrast I like so much. I did really like their Madagascar vanilla with pistachio toppings though. mainly for the topping: nicely toasted chunks of pistachio with a good slightly burnt flavor. prices are really high

I first got introduced to Three Twins Ice Cream at a Unilocal event and wish there was one closer(vs at the grocery store). I love the vanilla and lemon cookie. I love it that you can get a small bowl with different types of ice cream. Definitely try it if you’re in the area.

The mothership! Ok, not quite, but still… an entire shop devoted to Three Twins ice cream is obsession-worthy in my book. You can find special flavors they don’t sell in grocery stores, or take home a pint for $ 5 apiece. It’s a tiny place, but there’s picnic tables outside to enjoy your scoop. Dad’s Cardamom, Milk Coffee, and Cookies n’ Cream are my go-tos. Three Twins is the perfect ending to any day!

I really dig the Lemon Cookie flavor. I try to come here just for special occasions as I don’t want to mess up the progress I have made at 24hr fitness next door. I have to agree with the other folks who say that the location is a bit small and that the customer service can be slow or lackluster at times. But all depends who you get behind the counter. If you go on a not too busy evening, you can get in and out really quick and the patio there with the fireplace is really nice to sit in while you eat your ice cream. The quality of the ice cream is great. Awesome flavors and organic. Serving sizes are pretty decent. I usually get the teensie because it’s one scoop. But it’s pretty rich so it is usually enough for me. Good ice cream and good location(for the exterior not interior). I will be back.
