Too expensive for what you get. It is OK if your going to go and eat after you leave. Tasted OK just not much of it.

The bakery is’t bad but very disappointing for breakfast. Rare pancakes are not my favorite, overpriced for what I got and my wife’s order was wrong after have had the cashier repeat the order. Only go if there are no other choices.

My boyfriend took me to grab a late lunch here at the Corner Bakery Café. It was my first time, he had already been several times. I love that it has a out door patio, the potted colorful flowers were super cute. Service was quick! I ordered the Turkey panini, which consisted of Turkey of course, bacon, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and a bit of mayo. The side was macaroni with bacon. I usually dont eat pasta out because i hate when its undercooked. But this macaroni was pretty dang good. My bf said he did not like the cheese, but hes craycray! Haha jk. I liked the slice of pickle, wish i had two though. Sweet ice tea was refreshing! The only reason i did not give this cozy restaurant five stars was because the panini only had one slice of turkey, which was not fullfilling. Plus, it was a bit pricey for not making the sandwich a bit bigger. Anyways we sat out on the patio and enjoyed our meal. It was such a beautiful day, i do not understand why everyone was inside, instead of outside. I will be coming back.

So I do love the food here. My husband is super picky and he has yet to say anything negative about the food. I love their chicken pesto sandwich and what makes it good is the in house vinegarette and pesto mayo. But if you want a quiet place to eat, this isn’t it. Every time I have been here, there are numerous screaming children. This is hip mommy central. Also, I do think it’s too expensive. So if you want good food and don’t mind paying for it and having a random toddler scream in your ear, this is the place.

First time here because we have heard so much about this place. Quiet atmosphere with awesome food. Workers were pleasant and they were giving samples of lemon cake which was to die for. Prices were not bad and the baked items were fresh. Definitely will be back!!!

I’ve been here twice and think it’s really great. Order at the counter, grab your own drink, and wait for your meal. The food was high quality and the service was great. Try the turkey sandwich! So good!

I live Corner Bakery, and this is pretty much your standard CB. There aren’t too many options in LC for healthy fresh food, so this is a great place! Although it is expensive for the area, and the portions are small for the price.

We had lunch here today and it was good. I had the lunch combo which comes with half a sandwich, cup of soup and a bag of chips. We will go back =]

My $ 5 chicken noodle soup tasted worse than Campbell’s in a can. This place is the pits, eat somewhere else!

Decent food and most days the coffee is quite good. Better than almost anywhere else in LC for breakfast.

Had an unfortunate experience with catering food and delivery. Food arrived very late with an excuse that they just got very busy(obvious that the guest came last priority). If you are going to open your doors for business, be ready in all aspects for business. This place is too new to be functioning at a reliable level.

3.75 Unlike many of the other national chains that end up in Cruces, this place actually has some decent food. Everything that I’ve eaten there on my two visits, including tomato basil soup, the lentil soup(stellar, actually), the caesar salad, and the mini pumpkin cake, well as everything enjoyed by those dining with me(including the clam chowder, chicken panini, and tortilla soup), has actually been very, very good.(and if you are sensing a tone of surprise you’re spot on… I’m typically predisposed to not like chains). As far as price goes, it’s to be expected of a place like this. Around 9 or 10 bucks per person for food is decent for what you get(if you pay a buck or more for iced tea you’re already showing a willingness to pay too much for flavored water). Another cool surprise: believe it or not, the MUSIC. On my last time there I heard everything from Stevie Wonder’s «As,» to a pre-«Blurred Lines» tune by Robin Thicke. And finally, it’s a place that«gets» lighting… not the typical Cruces joint bathed in flourescent light. Finally, and perhaps the most important thing, is that everyone working there(I’ve always gone at night) has been very friendly – something surprisingly lacking at so many other restaurants these days. So many servers these days act like it would pain them to smile when greeting patrons. Anyway details like this are highly appreciated by this diner.

Expensive for this area, $ 22 for two okay sandwiches and lemonades. The sound level is terrible, everything reverberates off all the hard surfaces, couldn’t wait to leave to get some quiet. And speaking of leaving, we were being rushed by the staff; three people asked us if they could clear the table within a five minute time frame, and I WASOBVIOUSLYSTILLEATING! The staff also constantly carry bus pans full of dirty dishes while wandering around looking for tables to clear. Vary unpleasant having to look at that while eating. Jason’s Deli and McCallisters are very similar but the overall experience is better in those places. They are also cheaper. On the plus side, the food arrived quickly.

Nice place, however I do not like being nickeled an dimed to change my bread options. 75 cents to change to a croissant is a bit much. Oh and clean silverware would be a plus in my book.

We had our first experience dining at the Corner Bakery Café today. Five of us met there for lunch. I had the ½ panini(Sliced Meatball) with a cup of clam chowder and my wife had ½ panini(California Grill) with a cup of tomato basil soup. Our meals came with a pickle and a small bag of potato chips. My selection came with a small bowl of marinara sauce to dip your panini. Both of our meals were very good. Service was very good. The rest of our party enjoyed their sandwichs too. Will return again.
