Hours changed for Mondays. They now close at 5pm. Would’ve been nice if they updated their info!!!

I would give this place a 4 as a good Vietnamese restaurant in town. I give it a 2 for service because there is this dude(taller, longer hair) that works there that is a total creep. He is always making passes at me and my female friends when we eat there and it is completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Of course, the other guy that works there(shorter, shyer) is a gentleman that never makes me feel uncomfortable for going into the place to order phở. So, if you are a dude, you may be able to have a decent meal without a side of sexual harassment. For everyone else, head’s up.

Passing through on our way from Texas to California. I was happy to see that they have a vegetarian menu. Had the«beef» vermicelli, which was very good. Boyfriend enjoyed his rice dish as well. I get the feel that care and effort is taken when making their food. Servers appear grungy and laid back in attire, but were polite, charming, and humorous; thus service was great, haha. The place was clean.

One of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time. I ordered their special seafood udon and it was soooo delicious, even with REALCRABMEAT! Who would think? The udon noodles had good texture and perfectly cooked, and the broth was super flavorful. Then, their avocado smoothie was to die for!!! On top of the amazing food, the attendants were nice and funny. This is going to be my favorite place in Las Cruces.

Great food! Great service! The restaurant is very clean. Authentic Vietnamese food! I was staying in a nearby hotel and had a craving for phở. Once again, Unilocal steered me in the right direction. I took my food to go and it was neatly packed in separate containers just like it should be. Everything was fresh and tasty. My daughter hasn’t acquired the taste for phở yet, so I got her the grilled chicken banh mi. I went downstairs to get some bowls from the hotel kitchen and by the time I came back upstairs her banh mi was gone. She left me one bite just so I could see how good it was. ;) yes I have the best daughter in the world. Thanks Phở A Dong! Made my night!

We had the Vietnamese Pizza and the duck. Both very delicious. I want to try the pork sandwich next time we take the family.

This was my first time here! I’m obsessed with Vietnamese food and I’ve been to restaurants all across the country! Egg rolls were great! I ordered combination stir fry with steamed rice! I barely finished 1⁄3 of the plate! It was plenty but the some of the vegetables were a little too long in the sauce(for example the cabbage)! Overall great place and I will come back!

While their Phở Dac Biet lacks tendon and tripe(2 personal favorites of mine), their bo tai was fresh beef(not the frozen top round like most places), which was a pleasant surprise. 4⁄5 stars from a Phở-fanatic. Food is cheap, delicious, and quick.

I’m divided in giving the restaurant a four star because the service was good but a two star because the phở was so sad. I’m no expert but I think the phở broth was lousy and not even a half hearted attempt was made to make it taste like a real phở broth. As someone else already mentioned there was no flavor to it, the start of anise, clove, cardamon, cinnamon and the rest of the spices were all missing! The whole reason phở is so delicious is because of the complex and layered flavors. The broth tasted like someone just added chicken bullion to a pot of water served it with pre-frozen wontons and called it phở. On the up side my wife had the claypot braised catfish and she said it was tasty.

I’ll go with 4. Recommended by friends as having competent Vietnamese and similar. I ordered a special, a chicken curry. It was familiar rich coconut milk with yellow curry powder flavor as base — though probably a Madras curry powder, moderately spicy. The tender and flavorful chicken and some basil leaves were surrounded by the stuff, almost a soup. Fortunately, there were some perfectly-done vermicelli noodles there on the side to help soak it up. The store was clean and attractive for a mom-n-pop restaurant. Service was excellent, very friendly. It was easy to find and parking is easy. Very good value. I enjoyed my food and I enjoyed eating there. Go there.

I was pleasantly surprised, this unassuming little restaurant, has excellent Phở! I highly recommend their rice noodle soups and Lo Mien, also their bubble teas and coffee. Service can use a little improvement, but other than that this is a great little place in Las Cruces

First visit. The service was good here. There’s a whole page of vegetarian options, and sauces and salads without fish sauce. Their tofu goi cuon was tasty and nicely rolled. The iced coffee was strong. I ordered the mock«beef» salad and the veggie meat had a great flavor and texture. The salad itself was mostly composed of bean sprouts(!), some carrot shreds, tomato slices, mint and Thai basil, and crushed peanuts. It was like 85% bean sprouts. I didn’t love it. The only thing in Vietnamese cuisine I can compare it with is maybe a lotus stem salad(goi ngo sen). I may give it another try since there were other veggie options and the mock«beef» could be great in other dishes.

Who knew I could get an authentic Phở in Las Cruces?! Visiting here for a wedding from LA and we were craving for some«comfort food». My friend had Phở Ga and I had phở with rare beef and flank. They give you so much food for the price you paid. The egg roll was also awesome. Phở was $ 8.75ish and egg roll was $ 3.75 for 3 pieces. But what was really the best? The host! They were attentive and smiling the entire time. We felt so welcoming. Will def come back again if we are in town.

I came here strictly for phở after seeing the positive reviews, however it was disappointing overall. I can’t call it authentic if they don’t serve culantro, tendon or tripe with their phở. The broth was very clear, but lacked the distinctive star anise and clove flavors. Even a slice of lime was enough to overpower the broth. At least it was lime and not lemon. If you’re not used to authentic phở, but want a decent bowl of noodle soup, this place should suffice. If you want something closer to the real thing, look elsewhere.

One of my favorites in Las Cruces! Might look a little sketchy from the outside but dont be afraid come on in and get ready for some awsome food! The employee are always ready and eager to educate the items on the menu. Really really good! Cant say enough about PHO!

The service was really good, only one guy and he was awesome and very helpful. This was our first time here and we were skeptical because of some of the reviews but they were all a little dramatic. We really enjoyed the food, the phở had a great flavor and nothing was a disappointment. Yes it smells a little weird but I believe it’s to be expected when it’s not your traditional American style restaurant. Really good food, really nice people and a very good time.
