One of my favorite Mexican foods in town. Mainly a carry out place as seething is really limited. In the expensive side for Mexican food and chips and salsa is NOT included… But you gotta get some.

Not as good as the Sombrero Restaurant on Loman. Ive had A few good meals there, but the quality is not always consistent. They do not provide chips and salsa like the Loman site. Too expensive for what you. I eat there when I am really in a hurry and hungry.

We are def considered«regulars» love this place for the Sombrero effect on the run. The staff are great & our order is always exactly as we order it. They even have an app for your phone to make it even easier to order. See you next week.

Nachos are amazing. The portions are quite large. Everything is made to order so if you’re in a hurry you might be frustrated. Plan on 5 – 10 minutes if they are busy.

I was there before a couple of days. The food wasn’t that good, and food quality is terrible. I would rather be starving than going to this restaurant.

I should have read the reviews and saw how bad this place is. El Sombrero Café is amazing, which is why I assumed this place would be too. The customer service is extremely terrible. Will not be coming back here again and would not recommend coming here either. Going to the Café is worth the drive and time than the head ache this place will give you.

I am very disappointed, I called in a order for pick up and verified my order several times making sure they had it correctly. Well after picking up my order and driving back home 20 minutes away my order was wrong. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant and will never go back. Very bad service!

I don’t learn. Lured by a craving for greasy food, we returned. I’ll keep it simple. If you can get past the shitty service, you might get lucky and get a little bit of love when your food is prepared. Otherwise, hang on to your patience and your small intestine.

I’ve eaten here twice now and was happy with the product both times. Service is pleasant, staff friendly and helpful. My food was delicious! The biggest compliment I can give them is they don’t over-salt everything. Yeah a few things like the beans and rice were seasoned well, but over all, I could enjoy the flavors without being overwhelmed by salt. Well done! I had their three taco plate on Taco Tuesday, which is a great deal. They let me pick one of each type of taco and they were all really yummy! The next time I got the stuffed sopapillas and they didn’t disappoint! Fluffy, tender and delicious stuffed with a spicy green chile stew. Yum! I recommend them! Plus they have outside parking spots and will deliver to your car if you like.

Food was rather slow and wasn’t all that good. Tried it 2 times and both times it took around 30 minutes or more to get food. This is an «Express» version of their regular restaurant — I really don’t get the significance of «Express» here. The chile con queso was like melted cheese wiz and wasn’t all that great. The tacos were bland. Stuffed sopaipillas tasted like the meat was seasoned with Taco Bell seasoning. Just not that good. The steak tacos were more like fajitas with bell pepper and lots of onion — and tasted like it was seasoned with way too much pepper and some Italian spices. The nachos didn’t have the queso sauce, barely any cheese at all. The«salsa» had an odd taste that seemed more Italian than anything.. Bleh. Did I say overpriced? The above items all taken together cost over $ 70(1 was 2 orders of tacos).

. I have only eaten here once, I’m sure I will be back many times it really is a fast food restaurant there are just a few tables and they mostly do take out I had fabulously good chicken enchiladas with red sauce, much better than I’ve had anywhere else in Las Cruces

Just visited yesterday, during their first week open and I was very pleased. They had a substantial amount of the food that they carry at their other locations, and my wife and I were able to get it in under ten minutes. My El Sombrero tacos were delicious, and they were nice enough to roast some jalapenos and add them in the tacos at my request. My wife’s rainbow enchiladas were equally good, if you like rolled enchiladas! I prefer flat enchiladas, and was happy to see that they carry those too! All and all, a great experience. It is nice to have a good quality Mexican restaurant(with the ability to do take-out) that is close to home! Welcome to the neighborhood, El Sombrero! Note: They have drive-up spots that appear to be used for call-in orders. From what I could tell, they will bring the order directly out to your car. This is a nice convenience, especially given that their location does not allow for a drive through. If you prefer to dine inside, they do have a couple of tables, as well.
