After an early appointment before breakfast, we decided to stop at IHOP for something to eat. We both had omelets and hash browns. Our food was good, not great. Service was excellent.

The food was very good and it tasted great. The prices were also not too bad, however, it was the customer service that was lacking. When we entered the woman at the front asked us how many, and when we answered with 2 she grabbed two menus and began to walk away without asking us to follow her. Secondly, our waitress only came to our table once to take our order, and once to deliver it. I had to walk around to try and find her to let her know we needed straws for our drinks, and that we needed the check.

Not sure what the bad reviews are about. The place is clean including the restrooms. Our server was good, the manager came by twice to make sure everything was good. It’s a chain restaurant and I don’t expect anything less than a good experience.

Keith was our server and he was very friendly and fast! The coffee was not the greatest, but I have yet to like any coffee at restaurants. Food was hot and tasty!

Ate pancakes at the location at 70& Del Rey at 8:30pm on a week night. Our waitress Jewel provided excellent service!

So, I am at IHOP here on Del Rey & Hwy 70. Service is poor, food isn’t prepared much better. Our server is more concerned with sweeping the place at 7:30 pm more than checking on her tables. My house salad comes out with only lettuce and a few croutons. No cheese, no tomatoes, just very bare, and to top it off, they serve your dressing in packets like ketchup. My chicken fried steak is ok, except it barely has any gravy on it for two bites.

Bathrooms were little uncomfortable to drop a deuce in, Call the sanitation department but the chicken fried steak is the bomb!

Worst place. Horrible service. Nasty food. They don’t have the dishes that are advertised. Owner M.T. is not in touch with reality and so overly impressed with himself that he ignores the lack of quality at his restuarant. Don’t waste your time here. I heard that there is a new owner, but I’ve heard that before. I have given this place so many tries over the years, and every time they failed on every level — service, food, cleanliness,. the last time, I even saw a waiter take a fork off of the floor and place it on a table with the other, supposedly clean eating utensils. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy(well… maybe ;).

Terrible customer service everytime we have gone. The waiters are bad and the management obviously does not have control of anything or anyone that works for them. Music was too loud, seats were sticky, no silverware, no napkins, orders were wrong, waitress was bad etc…

I LOVEIHOP, but I don’t love this one. The only reason I give 2 stars instead of 1 is the food. Every time I go in a party of more than 1 I have crappy service. Also, their parking lot IS tiny, so if you don’t want to deal with that, then don’t go during peak time(Sunday morning, Saturday late night, etc). I’ll be back, but only because I love IHOP food.

If you could sell diarrhea as food, you’d be legally obligated to name your restaurant«IHOP». Seriously I can’t recommend this restaurant unless you are a longtime chronic sufferer of constipation. This place loosened my bowels more than 3 pounds of Ex-Lax chased by a quart of Metamucil. I cannot think of one positive comment to make regarding this IHOP. I’ve been to IHOPs all around the country, and had some pleasant experiences. Not so at the Las Cruces IHOP. I gave IHOP a couple chances to «get it right». The first time the food tasted decent, but within 1 hour I was battling a fierce bout of diarrhea. The 2nd time I was very hungry and figured that I’d try something else and have better luck… no dice, I got just as sick as before. The last time I went there I actually saw a waitress picking bacon off a plate at another table, and putting it on MINE before bringing it to me. Unbelievable. With filthy practices like that it’s no small wonder I was getting sick. Do yourself, and your bowels, a favor and avoid this place. It amazes me the city Health Department hasn’t slapped a condemned sign over the front doors.

This was the first time in over a year that I was in an I-HOP and it felt SOOOOOO good to be in a national restaurant that wasn’t fast food, Denny’s, or Chili’s(one the challenges of living in rural New Mexico). Don’t order their specialty coffees. My friend and I both ordered the café‘ mocha and it was horrible. Not even as good as hot chocolate made with hot water. My breakfast was good: Omelette with pancakes(of course). The server was okay. He was very friendly, but was busy. It took a little time to get his attention. Parking is a challenge due to their small parking lot. I’d come back here again. It’s I-HOP, after all.

Possibly the worst IHOP I have ever been to! When we were seated, the carafe of coffee has been sitting on the table for who knows how long and it still took 10 min to get a mug. It was stale and burned, as expected. I ordered scrambled eggs and a stack of pancakes. Service took forever, and when finally the waitress reappeared with the food, she said they had RUNOUT of buttermilk pancakes, and chocolate had been substituted, with no consultation. Yuk.(It was only 10am) The eggs were cold and congealed. I stared sadly into my dismal coffee and pushed the eggs around the plate. Seriously, how does an ihop run out of pancakes?
