Zia Pizza Company

This is probably my favorite pizza in Las Cruces! It tastes so fresh, not all heavy and greasy like the popular pizza chains. We got the Mesilla Valley Pizza (double pepperoni and green chile) and it was so good. The chile wasn’t too hot and it had great flavor. We also got a regular pepperoni pizza and a chocolate chip cookie that was perfect for dessert! Zia Pizza was perfect for our busy schedules on a school night because they deliver! Our pizza arrived before the estimated time and the delivery guy was really nice. I can guarantee you I won’t be ordering from anyone else. It was that good!

We ordered from the Solano location for delivery. We had some issues with our food and called to let them know. I will say I was not happy about it and probably (probably.ha!) was not very pleasant on the phone. They offered to re-​do my order and bring it to me quickly but I declined because we were starving and couldn’t wait. 15 minutes later the doorbell rings and the OWNER of Zia Pizza is at my door with a complete re-​do of our order! He was very thankful for our business and genuinely apologetic. I have to say I have never had that kind of consideration when it comes to ordering food. The food was really good and they have a great selection! I am happy to say that we will be going back, because they know how to run a business and take care of their customers! Thank you Tony! Well with such good reviews we thought we would give it a try. Fast and friendly service. Unfortunately we were not impressed :(ordered the juice with hand tossed crust and added green chile. The crust was ok, but the green chile was so mild it wasn’t worth getting. We could’ve used some chile flakes because it was so bland. We will try zia again but so far a bit of a disappointment.

Amazing business! They support military service members all the way and give them incredible discounts. The food is amazing as well and the service is outstanding. I love Zia Pizza!

So let me begin by describing the current photo. This is a medium pizza with beef, mushrooms and green chile, just as I had ordered. Ok, very nice right? Everything looks in order and scrumptious and good enough to eat… well, looks can be deceiving. So it was a typical Saturday and I had this random craving for pizza, to be more specific, a beef, mushroom and green chile pizza. Well, after contemplating which pizza joint to go too, I turned to good olé Unilocal to help me make my decision. After taken notice of the good reviews the Zia pizza had, I then said to myself… hell, why not, they have good reviews so it should be good pizza… boy, was I wrong! Something wrong about this pizza… something was wrong??? It didn’t quite taste like any other pizza I had before. First off, the green chile didn’t have any heat to them, the cheese wasn’t cheesy at all. To sum it up, this pizza taste like it was thrown together by someone who didn’t give a f**k about quality. I have no quarry with Zia pizza, I’m just being honest. I love a good pizza now and then but sorry folks, this wasn’t good pizza and for $ 13.00, I’m pretty sure I can do better… hell, Digornos pizza taste better than this. My final verdict — one thumb down for taste and one thumb up for price.

Nothing bad about the people who work there, who were very nice, but this is the worst pizza I have ever had. At least we got the Sunday special, so it was cheap. (Unfortunately, the special includes bread sticks, which were as bad as the pizza.)

VEGAN PIZZA!!! (and other non-​vegan stuff) As a militant vegan I am so DELIGHTED that Manny, the owner, already took us difficult people into consideration and had Daiya cheese on order! The vegan crust is the thin crust and it is wonderful. The combination that makes my day is thin crust, olive oil, daiya cheese, green chili, jalapeño, and mushroom, with no shake (parm). I call it in and have a large delivered to my office for around 20 dollars. absolutely worth every penny. Hot, lots of cheese and toppings, cooked perfectly and arrives quickly. They have a large menu, in addition to their willingness to accommodate diet restrictions– but even more importantly– understand them. New location on Solano is quaint and relaxing. Great for delivery or dine in. Try my order if you are vegan or want something a little different.

Very good! I ordered the green chile and pepperoni! Crust is delicious!!! I would def come back! Staff are polite, it’s a clean establishment and the service is fast! For a small, private company, this place is great. I would highly recommend Zia pizza

My friends and I came into town from Austin and heard good things. We were not disappointed. Excellent service, ingredients and overall experience! So affordable and delicious will come again for sure.

We came here after a game with hungry kids. The service was great and the pizza was delicious. The sauce was yummy and the pizza was nice and light. We will be back!

Oh my! That was the best gluten-​free pizza we have had in a long time! Thin and chewy. Margarita with spinach, mushrooms, and black olives added, hearty and satisfying. NO GARLIC – YAY! «Organ» pizza sounds nasty, but really its just «meat lovers” – tasted like organic meat, not processed. Good job!

The pizza here is excellent!!! The thin crust is probably the best around, and OMG! THE wings I would eat every night.

The GF pizza is the best! The size was actually enough to feed a family of 4. Often times GF pizza’s are enough for only 2 people. The prices were reasonable as well. We had a cheese and pepperoni pizza. The kids had at least 2 slices each and were asking for more. Chef salad was also very tasty. The pepperoni and pastrami tasted very fresh. We’ll be back next time we’re in Las Cruces.

I’ve had pizza from CA, MO and NY and this is the BEST pizza we’ve found in NM. Love the crunch of the pizza crust and the fresh veggies are cooked to perfection (not to mush!). Their Hatch Chile Fries are SO GOOD as are the Sandia Peak Fries. Love that they deliver all day and into the night. Don’t like their small pizza crust… blech! Tastes like it was pre-​made/​frozen. So as long as you stay away from the small, you’ll be happy! They also seem to be REALLY good to their employees. We’ve called a couple times where they closed early so their ‘people’ could enjoy a holiday.

Pizza that’s just a little off the main drag when you are staying in local hotels and tired of the standard list of restaurants.
Side salad is good sized and includes pepperoni, cheese, tomato, and peppers over field greens and spinach. Pizza with green chili! What more can be said? The crust is a wonderful mix of crunchy yet soft.

Since we were out running some errands, we decided to give the Zia Pizza Company a try. We were not disappointed. The pizza crust and the toppings were very good. We shared a side salad which was also good. They do delivery, so you can order by telephone. Definitely good enough to go back again.
