Broth is tasty and I especially like the wide flat noodles. The noodles taste fresh and look hand cut. I ordered the pig feet noodle and my husband ordered the lamb noodle soup and some dumplings on the side.

Boyfriend and I did a quick Vegas trip before he had to return to work after the holidays. We are from LA, and a HUGE hotpot fan! So when the weather is cold and rainy? Hotpot it is! We came across this small restaurant tucked away in Chinatown and it’s got pretty decent reviews so we gave it a shot. We both ordered the mini-pot,(chicken mini-pot and lamb mini-pot) both were amazingly delicious. We didn’t have a high expectation but it definitely did not disappoint. We also ordered the lamb skewers, it was so tasty! We both LOVE lamb!!! The ladies working the floor was extremely friendly as well. The whole experience was beyond what we expected. If you are in Vegas and craving for some hotpot, this is the place to be.

Amazing food, great service. Couldn’t find a good spot to eat because in Las Vegas everything is so packed. Truly is a hidden gem

I love Hot Pot so much, and the Taiwanese Spicy Hot Pot there was super delicious. The soup was really flavorful, and the portions were huge! I ended up sharing mine with my friend, and we both left ridiculously full. It was a really cheap meal for two; I think we both paid around $ 7? The decorations were also really adorable, and I love the sauce station they have in the back. Definitely coming back again!

My family and I were staying on the Las Vegas Strip. We were tired of the mediocre(and not to mention expensive) food options on the Strip so we took a cab outside of the area to the Chinatown region to eat at Booming Pot Noodles. This restaurant is really quaint(read: small) and their tables really don’t comfortably fit more than four to five people. The staff were nice. They speak Chinese and the main waitress seems to speak English okay(not sure about the line cooks). The food here is Taiwanese and pretty authentic. My Taiwanese parents approved and said the food reminded them of food they’d get back in Taiwan. I got the braised pork over rice(lu rou fan). It was quite tasty, just the way I remembered. The portion size was large too, and they give you a good amount of meat and rice. The spicy wontons were delicious. They give you about six in one serving. The oil and the wontons were married so nicely. I loved them! The beef noodle soup was okay. I really like this dish in general but thought this one was lacking a little bit in flavor(despite looking very oily). I also thought the hand cut noodles didn’t taste as good as the regular thin noodles. The regular dumplings were also good too. My parents said they tasted Taiwanese. They went well with the soy sauce and vinegar combo that you can just make yourself. I would come back again for yummy Taiwanese food.

Food is good here but service is horrible. Ordered leek dumplings and beef noodle soup with the big noodles to go and our order was completely wrong! We got pork dumplings and the traditional noodles instead. The beef noodle soup was also supper fatty.

This place is a true mom and pop hole in the wall eatery. They both are really nice and I think they work really hard so I gave them an extra star for effort. When I walked in the pop greeted us and gave us the menu and tea right away. The mom was sitting in the table at the back hand making dumplings. My friend and I got the Taiwanese beef noodle soup with the thick noodles, and the beef mini hot pot. Food came out relatively quickly. The beef noodle soup was really good. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the meat wash moist and tender. They are generous with the meat too! The noodles were thick and Al dente. I usually liked my noodles cooked more but I really enjoyed the dish. I*t turned out to be a lot of food and my friend and I couldn’t finish the dish. As for the beef hotpot… there was a lot of food but the broth isn’t that good. It’s lacking some flavor. They have a sauce bar but the sauce bar is really weak with only satay and sesame sauce. I had to add a lot of chili, garlic and green onions to liven the broth. But I must say that the longer the soup boils, the better the flavors get. I was enjoying it at the end. Usually with hot pot, the restaurant will give you either a bowl of rice or vermicelli noodles to earth with the soup. This place does not. I asked if rice or noodles come with it. he said oh you want rice? I said does it come with the meal? He said yes. I hope he didn’t charge me extra because I forgot to look at the bill haha. I would come here again for some good beef noodle soup. I haven’t found a good hot pot place in Vegas so if the craving is there, I guess I will come here again. DAMNYOUBOILINGPOINT, COMETOVEGASALREADY!

I wouldn’t come here to satisfy your Taiwanese cravings. When you first enter, it is as if you entered into a sauna. You sit yourself down and find yourself taking off your layers as you look at the menu. My friend and I ordered the Pork Bone hot pot and the beef noodle soup. The pork bone hot pot was meh. The soup was not as rich as I had anticipated. The contents within(potato, tomato, pork, napa cabbage, crab chunks, and mushrooms) were soft and unflavorful. It seemed as if it was a jumble of left over/frozen meat and veggies. The beef noodle soup, on the other hand, was delicious. The noodles were thick and al dente. It seemed home made because the strands were not uniform. The beef was tender. The soup was on point. This place offers a «sauce bar» consisting of sesame sauce, taiwanese sauce, chili oil, cilantro, and garlic. It was very limited and the ingredients did not appear to be fresh. I would stay away from the sauce bar if I find my way here again. The owner who was our server came once to give us our waters and take our orders and did not check up on us again. We had to flag him down for our checks. This is a very laid back mom-and-pop shop. Don’t expect them to be on top of customer service!

Only stars for the food, its just the best beef noodle soup ive had in my life. Service aint really matter since they only have one staff and shes the owner of the restaurant i assume. Shes nice but once there comes lots of ppl she wont be able to cover up all of the customers, and i think its understandable tho. So just a reminder if you looking for a really great service you are gonna be disappointed. But the food here, i mean i am from Taiwan, beef noodle soup never is my favorite food back in my country, i was craving some hometown food then my bf found this restaurant. The first bite of it just no words can describe it! The meat are soft but not chewy, thats exactly what i like, the handmade slice noodle with the soup that tastes really cost lots of time to cook it. I would sayyy this beef noodle soup is better than dingtaifeng(im not a fan of it, its just a famous international chain taiwanese restaurant) It tastes exactly like taiwan! And i love ittt! Been traveling around LA and vegas, had so many taiwanese food. this booming pot restaurant is the one!

First time here, got the spicy seafood hot pot and it tasted so good! The soup base is perfect and keep you warm for a cold weather in Vegas! Also, my fiancé ordered the lamb and beef cabobs and he enjoyed it! This place is a hole in the wall but don’t judge a book by its cover. Most definitely, coming back here again!

We were hungry and searching for an Asian restaurant. Then we saw this Chinese restaurant in Yalp and also an ad in a Chinese newspaper. Therefore we decided to check it out. We like it! The food is good and the owner and his wife are very friendly and nice. The price is fair. We will for sure to visit again next time when we are in town.

Went here last night for dinner and it was pretty good compared to the other hot pot place I went to a few days ago. It is located in a shady area and the outside doesn’t look as inviting, but once you step inside it is relatively clean and well-lit. I ordered the beef mini hot pot which had a really flavorful broth(I’ve been to places where the and soup just tasted like water). The beef itself was tender, yummy, and not fatty at all. Some other ingredients in the pot included a fish ball, imitation crab pieces, corn, cabbage, and tofu. They also have sauces here, but you have to mix and make it yourself. Some ingredients included minced garlic, cilantro, green onion, bbq sauce, balsamic vinegar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and soy sauce. I was kind of bummed because they didn’t have pre-made ponzu sauce which is my favorite sauce to dip my meat in. I also didn’t know how or if it was even possible to make so I just ended up going sauceless which wasn’t as bad since the broth had enough flavor. The staff is nice, but they could be a bit more aware of the customers. I had to wait for a bit before someone came out to get me seated at a table and the place wasn’t crowded at all. Also, I had to ask for rice since they just gave me the hotpot. I thought I had to pay extra for a bowl of rice, but they probably just forgot to give it to me. All in all I would recommend coming back here and I will visit again in the future if the opportunity presents itself. I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could, but decided to round down because I feel that most places around Vegas have slightly inflated reviews and I didn’t want to contribute to that impression. If you happen to go to the same places as I do, I hope my reviews have been helpful!

Was craving something low carb so ended up here. I ordered a beef and lamb skewer and a spicey Taiwanese hot pot. The skewers were ok. Lots of cumin. Meat was very tender. The hot pot at a very flavorful broth. The quality of the ingredients were ok while the portion was bigger than social house and the place at gold coast. Social house however gives you s choice of carbs on the side. At booming pot it costs extra. The dipping sauces you get yourself. They have have a limited selection but their is minced garlic… This is really a mom and pop shop. The couple is extremely friendly and decide service is great.(I wonder if they had kids and if they do, why aren’t they helping out their parents like i had to? Damn ungrateful kids!!!) Update went again and had the beef noodle soup with the knife cut noodles. Really flavorful broth. Very beefy. Knife cut was good but next time i will get the normal noodles to see there is a good elastic chew. I also asked for a side of the pickled mustard green. Added hot sauce, garlic, and black vinegar(which i fondly call the Chinese people’s vinegar) to the greens… delicious! !!!

Authentic beef and tendon noodle soup with hand-cut noodle was excellent! Really hit the spot! Friendly small mom-n-pop restaurant beats the big fancy restaurants. I would definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

Minched pork noodle is the best. Beef noodle is also really good. Pot stickers are my boy’s favorite. Very friendly service. I would definitely come back again.

My husband is Taiwanese, so we decided to give a try, cause the stinky hot pot is so popular in Taiwan. We ordered the stinky hot pot, spicy beef hot pot, pot sticker, BBQ beef tongue and the spicy jelly noodle. The spicy beef hot pot is ok, I’m not a big fine of that, others are so good! And the server(owner?) is so nice. I like this place, I will be back try the noodles!

I think this place is a joke. We ordered 3 different kinds of mini hot pot were thinking that we could share. We ordered pork bone, tomato & veggie and chicken hot pots. When they came on the table, they are almost the same. The only different were one has 2 pieces of pork bones, one has a few wedges of tomato and one has nothing… Beef and beef tongue skewers were way too dry and not worth the price. Nothing special with the dumplings. My girlfriends and I said we will never go back again…

It’s cold, rainy, and dark — so where can I go for some hot, satisfying, hot pot? Booming Spot Mini Pot! Sure… this spot has had some off days but hey — I think it makes this spot even more legit. I get the lamb mini hot pot with an additional side of beef tendon and a cup of rice. Ya ya, beef tendon is an acquired taste for some, but I thoroughly enjoy it. I load up the tendon into the pot and while it softens walk on over to build my own specialized dipping sauce at the sauce station. Once everything has simmered and cooked through, I have at my mini hot pot — dipping each morsel of hot pot goodness into the sauce mix concoction I made earlier. I only wish I had a bigger stomach to eat more — they call these pots mini, but for me, they’re more than enough.

Booming Spot Mini Pot Do not go to Booming Spot Mini Pot. It is not worth a shot. Though they’re nice, And have no mice, They had not the food I sought. I ordered the beef mini pot, Which stayed scalding hot. I burned my tongue, And coughed a lung, Until the flame was fought. In my friend’s mini pot, She found a hair left to rot. The hair was not from her head. «Whoops» the waiter said. I kid you not. I will not return to Booming Spot Mini Pot. I would not eat a lot. Mediocre grub not worth the price, Better luck, roll your dice. I hope you have been taught. HAH! :D
