This place had great tasting food. They have probably shut down because they were pricey but had very small servings. They r the only chinese restaurant that used small round plastic containers for delivery versus the traditional to go containers. I’ll miss them and especially their chicken wontons

Came here for lunch one day. Staff was very friendly and the food was served promptly. Orange chicken was good, shrimp and snow peas as well. Would definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Best Chinese food in Las Vegas. I’ve been going here for over 7 years. The staff is so nice & and I love that every time I call for delivery they said 45 min and they are at my house within 15 min. I’ve been going here for so long and never once has the food or the service been nothing but great.

I ordered China ginger tonight… It was the worst Chinese food I have ever ate. There was hardly any meat. The food seemed like it was old and then reheated. I will never order from here again. What a waste of money!!! Should have went to Panda Express across the street!!!

Worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Panda would have been like fine dining after this place. I felt like I was eating spoonfuls of salt. Waste of $$.

We found this little gem of a restaurant by accident a few years ago when we were shopping at Lowe’s across the street. Since then, every time we visit Las Vegas, we always stop here for lunch. We order the lunch special which is a very good deal. The food is delicious and hot. The chicken corn soup is soooo good! The last time we were there, I had the sweet sour shrimp(delish) and my husband had chicken. The service is great, and the waitress is so gracious. We’re from Hawaii, and there are tons of Chinese restaurants here, but China Ginger is better than a lot of them. Can’t wait to visit Las Vegas again and have our lunch special!

I was extremely pleased with my order. I had a large order because I was feeding six people. Everything was exactly as ordered. I had some special requests which were handled perfectly. The food was hot and very tasty. I will continue to order food from them in the future.

Not the best Chinese I’ve ever had, but not the worst either. The sweet & sour chicken and fried rice was reasonably good. The hot & sour soup was terribly bland. It’s 11:45 am and I’ve been here since 11. Not a single person has come in besides my wife and I. Service was fast and friendly. Would I come back? Probably not. There are plenty of other places with much better food.

My Girlfriend and I have been frequenting China Ginger for 2 years now and haven’t had a bad experience yet. We are both from NY and know our Chinese food. The food is always fresh, fast, and delicious. Service is always great and the servers are always on top of things. Prices are average, you’re going to pay $ 25 – 40 for 2 people, but that’s what you’ll pay pretty much anywhere nowadays. You will always feel well taken care of here, no matter what day of the week you visit. I typically don’t write Unilocal reviews, but after another excellent visit tonight, I felt I should spread the word. Places like this deserve to survive and keep a steady customer base. Visit soon and hope you enjoy! –Try the Walnut Shrimp– Yumm

A box of grease with rice, veggies and a few shrimp! The fried rice was so full of grease I couldn’t finish it. I love shrimp fried rice and this was bad. Only my 2nd time ordering and probably my last. The cashier/host was friendly but this rice was nasty! China Ginger this wasn’t right!

The service was really good. The food was hot and fresh. The price was reasonable. It was my second time here and I will be returning for sure.

Ordered through Grub Hub and paid extra for brown rice with my entrée. Didn’t get it. It was only .75, but enough of a service issue not to order from them again. The food is not great, but good.

The people here are extra nice, personally I think it’s the best secret place in town. Always fresh togo. Eat there!

Nice on the inside, decent service but I wasn’t very impressed with the food. Everything was slightly overly salted & each dish we got had way too much sauce on it. The orange chicken didn’t really taste like orange chicken it was mainly chicken in a sweet & sour sauce. The beef & broccoli looked traditional but the beef was kinda chewy, I couldn’t figure out if it was old or just over cooked. The chicken fried rice & wonton soup was probably our favorite! I’m not sure if we’ll go back, you could actually get better more fresh food at Panda Express.

Terrible Chinese food. Everything except the fried wontons and dipping sauce were blah. Shelf bought microwaveable food would probably be nicer. I know this is an awful harsh review, but I’m being most honest. True Chinese cuisine tastes amazing is and this place definitely does not tickle the taste buds :-( Rice and mains portion was very small… especially the rice(maybe ½ a cup?). Service was very attentive and polite. Price point for lunch specials are great — can’t beat $ 7.95 for soup, wontons and a main!

China Ginger is our go-to place for Lemon Chicken. The lightly breaded chicken is tender and the lemon sauce is sweet and tangy, but not overpowering. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing with calming music and the servers are really sweet and polite. They are always checking on you and are really quick to respond to your requests. Though I’m WAY past the age for dating, I always think this restaurant would be ideal for someone’s first date where good conversation is possible!

Ehhh my mom was craving Chinese food so I decided to give this place a go since I had a buy 2 get 1 free entrée coupon. Called in my order and they said it would be ready in just 10 minutes so that’s a plus. fast food! When I got there for some reason I had trouble finding the main door LOL I thought it was on the side somewhere by Nagoya. Any ways. they didn’t seem too happy that I had a coupon. Which, by the way, saved me $ 10 so yay. I wasn’t really hungry but I did sample a little bite of each entrée : –Chicken Chow Fun Dry: It was ok… flat, thin, long rice noodles pan fried with soy sauce, onions, bean sprouts & chicken. –Beef & Asparagus: way too salty –Orange Chicken: It’s deep fried & coated with a sweet orange glaze. of course it’s tasty but so is Panda Express haha –Steamed Rice: They gave us 3 large containers of rice which was way too much but a plus since some places don’t include rice. But the rice was a cheap quality rice. –To-go containers: I like their plastic Tupperwareish to-go containers. Prevents spilling and leakage. AND they are re-useable haha Anywho. This place is not really worth checking out. The prices aren’t even that low for take out quality food. HOTTIP: Look in your mail for Valpack Coupons. that’s where you’ll find their buy 2 get 1 free entrée coupon!
