Came with a girlfriend because she was telling how I would really enjoy this place, and I wasn’t disappointed! It was a great night out, we came during and 80s music night. There’s a cool dance floor for us to Shake our butts on lol and upstairs balcony view of the dance floors to be creepers at too hahaha. There’s an old school phone booth by the bathrooms upstairs too where you can take drunk pictures with and the tables downstairs have their very own Ouija boards too!!! And a beautiful portrait of baphomet :) defiantly going to come back until I’m just a regular!

I’ve been watching posts about this bar on another social media platform and learned about karaōke on Tuesday nights. For the longest time I’ve been wanting to go but it’s on a Tuesday and most of my co-workers and friends don’t play on a work night. I received a text from another co-worker who loves to sing and wanted to go out, and I went. What a cool little joint! There was a total of three of us who decided to meet up and do some singing. We entered in and had a few cocktails to gain some liquid courage. Our bartender was Elena and she was amazing! Very engaging and funny, gracious smile and just had everyone in conversation. Karaōke started late, but I don’t think anyone cared. The décor was a little interesting. In the bar setting alone, there were pictures of what appeared to be Jesus and perhaps some saints, mother Mary etc. It seemed like it was reminiscent of a medieval or church-like décor. Then when you would leave the bar through an archway, you enter a hallway with price sitting booths where, on the tables had two ouiji boards. It may be off putting to some but it didn’t bother me much but just fuel my fascination at this point. Past the hallway, there’s an entrance into a nice surprising open stage area where the karaōke was to be held. Overall, my friends and I enjoyed singing! Most importantly. From start to finish of being here, I loved the people that we encountered. It was like taking every extreme novel type of people and putting them into a setting where, all anyone wanted to do was sing and share their vocal talent. I know I will come here again and bring more friends. You should come to! :)

This place is THEBOMB!!! Vegas has needed a club with amazing music and good hospitality for the longest time! This is like the underground clubs you find in the U.K. and New York. It’s a hipster scene, but in a good way. Oddfellows is a complete departure from the douche-infested mega clubs in the Strip casinos. Seriously, get downtown and check this place out. Only, don’t, because we don’t want it to get too crowded. You don’t know what you’re missing… If you’re searching for great nightlife, this is it. The staff is also fantastic and very friendly to boot!

We happened across Oddfellows on our way back from a punk rock festival. The staff were out front and encouraged us to come in. What a happy accident! Great drinks, friendly staff who loved to talk mixology. The back room wasn’t open when we stopped by, but we loved the front bar!

Just heard about this bar. Went there tonight for the first time and it was a great time! It looks small when you first walk in, to the right there’s a small bar. Then you go down a hallway with some booths, and some of the tables had ouija boards, haha. At first you think, «This is it?» Then when you go left after the hallway there’s a door that leads you to a room with dancing and a bar. The music they played was awesome… my friends I danced to The Killers, Passion Pit, and The White Stripes. They also played music videos on a projector. Cool place, great vibes, reasonable drink prices

This place is a hidden treasure. I’ve been here three weekends in a row and I can’t seem to get enough. Definitely worth checking out if you’re a fan of cheap drinks, cool tunes(seriously when are you going to hear Blur being played in a bar/club??!), and friendly people.

I love this bar. Really good prices and the staff are all extremely friendly. I’ve seen the dance floor in the back get pretty full on some nights. They usually play pretty good music, not your typical top 40 or pop. They also have really fun theme nights. If you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary check this place out.

I’ve been here 3 Friday’s in a row now and I’m obsessed. It’s kind of rad because it’s not an obvious club/hang out spot. So you pretty much have the same crowd each time, which makes you feel like you’re part of some secret club. The drink prices are fantastic. If you’re dancing, or plan too just leave your coat in the car because you will get hot and you don’t want to have to watch your coat all night. I love Footloose Friday’s, can’t wait for this weeks!

Upon entering… «There is nothing wrong with your reality. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: there is nothing wrong with your reality. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to — The Oddfellows.» My initial reaction. It looks like an underground sex-slaving business. Drinks at the front, questionably curtained off rooms down the hallway. Roofie them at the bar, then take ‘em out back! Being a petite Asian female, I was starting to question my friend’s intent. Am I getting drunk here or trafficked? But what what?! Behind those black curtains are booths with Ouiji boards tacked onto the table. Twisted music videos playing on the TVs throws your mind into a psychedelic euphoria. It’s like acid-tripping without the acid. Yeah, that’s right, Don’t do drugs kids! Craft cocktails are stiff enough here where that’s all you’ll ever need. But wait! There’s more!!! If you stay late enough, that bookshelf in the back corner opens up to a secret room. It’s a HUGE ‘nother area where there’s a dance floor and another bar. Talk about awesome PDTs! I’m a total sucker for PDT spots! This bar is definitely distinct with its own personality. The Please-Don’t-Tell aspect of it just adds another extra oomph in my books. or uh. their books. Don’t let the window view fool you. Inside is amazing. Also, Diego is cool! Find him, order him around, then tip him.

Decent little spot at the Ogden. Cheap drinks and friendly staff. Could switch up the music a bit. A house music night would bring in more people.

Went last night and not gonna lie it was a bit odd. Like the layout is very different and interesting. Once I got in the back with all the people dancing it got weirder. Awkward crowd and cool tunes. It’s like someone had an amazing idea but not the budget for it. The Ouija boards threw me, like why would you even, do you want demons?! Cuz that’s how ya get demons. Upstairs had a weird layout and relatively small. Drinks were priced decently. Not saying it was bad, just not my thing personally. Wouldn’t go again as my first stop, maybe this is a last stop kinda place. I’ll give it another shot.

Great spot tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Fremont. Came in with a group of friends and the bartender(who happens to be the bar manager) gave us a friendly and welcoming greeting then promptly informed us it was happy hour($ 4 wells and $ 3 pbr 16oz cans, great prices for dtlv). The atmosphere is eclectic in the best way possible with throwback movies like terminator and masters of the universe playing on the screens and each of the booths has 2 built in Ouija boards! The music playing is from an era gone by but making quite the resurgence: the 1980s. There is also a huge dance area that is hidden behind a bookcase in the back. This is my new favorite bar downtown.

This reopened venue located on the ground floor of The Ogden used to be the Skullery. I came here with a friend to see the #downtownpodcast recorded live. I prefer the Inspire theater location for this event because of the size and much more available seating. The space was very small for filming and was not setup to handle a decent audience. The bar itself is also tiny and cavernous and not setup up for social collisions. The tiny private booths walled off give the impression that please don’t interrupt my conversation. Staff also seemed unfriendly or unwelcoming to the people that essentially pay their wages… the customers. Where do they find these social introverts that can only connect with people on via text, FB, Snapchat, or twitter. I might be back but I am sure this place will be rebranded by that time, especially if they continue to flounder there guest service. Hire professionals not your friends.

Cool bar! There’s a huge projector in the back room and the play music video from the 80’s. This is a good bar to chill and talk with your friends. Not too loud and pretty funky.

Cool new spot in DTLV. Bartenders were friendly, lots of space and the giant screen playing 80’s video is rad. Fun place to start or end your night.

A solid new addition to the downtown scene, and a concept as good as it gets for what it wants to be. The scene begins the moment you enter — right next to the bar, and facing a few video screens showing the classic videos for the musical soundtrack of the night. The bartender/host/man-of-the-hour, Jacob, immediately spots you, asks what you want, and delivers it swiftly — along with a sordid tale, a smile, or clever banter about a dozen topics of your pleasing. Then, you move along, past the three hideaway booths with Ouiji boards and video walls, and around the corner to a massive — MASSIVE — video screen and dance floor, where you start to get down to some classic 80’s or 90’s hits. Who doesn’t want to hear Footloose or Vogue in a setting like this? For a select few, there’s a clever hidden VIP area on the second floor, and a phone booth where we can all, for a few seconds, pretend to be Superman. The only problem — having to make your way back through the dance floor to the front to get more of the reasonably priced basic wells, simple fun cocktails, and solid selection of brews. It looks like every dj-night has a different theme(oldies, 80’s, 90’s, etc.), so it’s worth looking up what’s playing so that you don’t go expecting Erasure and get Elvis instead. In these first few weeks, best to avoid rolling solo. Bring your party-group with you to ensure the fun, but down the road this spot could shift the downtown rooftop crowd from sky watching to video-heaven. And, if you’re looking for a $ 15 bespoke cocktail made with gin, sesame oil, organic cucumber, and a rose petal, or a fancy bottle service menu, then you’re a) missing the point and b) better off spending 1000 times the money two miles away, but probably not having as much fun. But, if what you want is a) cheap, fast drinks, b) a friendly face and a non-strip crowd, c) a place to hang and dance with friends and/or meet folks and d) a giant video screen so you can see the Duran Duran Girls on Film video in the glory with which it was meant to be seen, then this is the place for you.
