Simply awesome. Had drinks with friends and the bartender was awesome. Great ambiance and I love the brick ceiling

Atmosphere is pretty cool. It’s like a cross between a mid-evil English tavern and a Viking Lodge. Fire pits and dimly lit lanterns are accented by brick and rock. Great whiskey selection. My only negative was there were several smokers.

Most locals rather hangout in DTLV compared to the strip. Griffin is defiantly one of my favorite spots in DTLV. I love the atmosphere. Dark, chill & not too crazy. There’s couches and tables near fire places. It’s a nice hangout spot to catch up with friends over a few drinks.

Awesome atmosphere and perfect noise level. Great liquor selection and same for beers. The place looks great and the lighting is just perfect and for those who are familiar with bars and lounges then you know the importance of lighting. Only thing I will say is that the female bartender on the night we went was as helpful as a pack of matches on a rainy day. I’d say just try the other bartender if the same happens to you.

This is a sexy bar and lounge. I really enjoyed the dark and intimate atmosphere. They make a really good stiff drink. It is sophisticated in the main bar and in the back they have a more wild grungy bar and dance area. This visit there was a DJ spinning some trance or dance techno. The bartenders are a great bunch, on it with the drinks and smiles! There were 5 of us and we all had a blast this night.

No leadership or staff training. Everyone is rude and complaints are just brushed aside by the«management». Maybe they could get away with it if they were the only bar in the area or had cheap drinks or anything that makes them stand out but they really have nothing to motivate you to put up with being treated disrespectfully. Stick with one of the other awesome bars in that area. Park is really fun, so is backstage.

Such a cool place in downtown Las Vegas. I love the indoor firepits and we made sure to stake claim around one of them to enjoy our cocktails. The Griffin offers reasonably priced drinks with friendly bartenders… a really nice selection too!

Great vibe inside, Liked the fireplaces. There was something weird with their music system; the music was playing a low and then high volume. All visiting downtown should check this place out in my opinion.

Loved the atmosphere and the look of the place. Especially the lighting and the fire place. Seating is limited if you have a large group, but it was really intimate and cozy for my group of 3. The drinks were really good and at a fair price. I came in with a friend and my brother on Christmas and it was a cool place to just chill and enjoy a drink. I would recommend this place if your a local of visiting from out of town. Definitely one of the cooler places on the Fremont Experience strip.

This place is such a cozy cool trendy spot. They have great strong drinks and scoop place to sit with a big group! Me and my friends have a blast here. All though some nights have been really slow in there other days it’s hard to get a drink they’re so packed

After such a disappointing trip/stay on the strip where everything cost an arm or a leg, it was such a nice and refreshing surprise to feel at home at this bar where you didn’t have to be a «high roller» and there was music to listen to other than«hip hop». Awesome selection on the jukebox and a very comfortable setting.

Nick is genuinely the most personable employee I’ve ever come into contact with; gregarious, friendly, and bearded, I never waited more than a moment for perfect service. The Griffin continues to be the best bar in Las Vegas and shows no sign of stopping.

Friendly, clean, and extremely cool environment with awesome sesting. Great place to take a guest for a nice evening. Has that Harry Potter look, so my sexy wife pointed out from our Universal Studios trip. Never been to a pub that fealt so much like an adventure ride. We went around 6pm, so no idea how this place is aroud the regular bar hours. Truly a must see, and they had a dark stout on draft!

Stopped in here for a cold beer and a bit of a quiet break from the activity of Fremont. The ambiance is very chill. It is dark and relaxing. There is a wide selection of beer on tap.

I’m very happy to see all the new establishments in Downtown Las Vegas! Great atmosphere! Happy bartenders, good customer service, decent music! Place is always crowded. Only been here twice! My out of town friends wanted to see some bars on Fremont street, I choose The Griffin. Parking is very difficult, being in Downtown, of course! I would use other transportation next time. Being dropped off and picked up at the front door is more convenient. Visiting The Griffin definitely worth the trouble!

Great bar, had tons of fun here over the course of two evenings in Vegas. Only thing keeping it from five stars is the giant slob at the door who carded us every time we stepped out the door for a breath of air or a smoke(we’re in our thirties). Dude carded us enough times in two nights that he had to have known us by name, but when wife took a minute to locate her ID in a crowded purse, he decided we couldn’t be let back in. Meanwhile people are walking in and out with no problem. «They’re regulars», he explains. So, if you want to have a good time, avoid getting on the door slob’s bad side(not sure what we did) and have your ID on a lanyard around your neck, or be a «regular». Other than that, bar is great inside, dark and bricky with plenty of room to sit, and a back room with dance floor and music. They have Hamms in 24 oz cans.

If you want to find a place to just disappear from the whole Las Vegas scene, or you want to find a place to lick your wounds after you just got your butt kicked gambling on the strip… Maybe it’s not that serious and you are a savvy traveler and want to get a taste of the local Vegas life; the Griffin is a great place to fill that need. I like the jukebox. The Stones, Howlin Wolf vibe. Can’t remember all that I heard, but I recognized most of what I heard. Music is big part of the vibe of any place to imbibe. Who me? I like the drinks, the music and the vibe. It really comes down to the experience one has with the staff. We had the privilege of being served by a boss ass multi-tasker who poured a drink as she downed some bottled water. On most occasions I wouldn’t be impressed, but she was taking care of customers all over the place, and that was probably the only chance she had to take a moment for herself. We saw that. Besides that fact that I like Vegas as much as any other out of towner, this is the type of vibe that I look for in a bar. I’ll make sure this is one of my stops every time I come back to town.

LOVETHISPLACE!!! This sweet spot is one of those places that you would not even know about unless someone brought you, or you happened inside by accident. And what a happy accident it would be! It is a perfect spot to get of the hustle of Freemont St, or to meet up with a gaggle of friends. Behind an unassuming brick wall and a single door is one of the sweetest, coziest little bars in the Freemont St. Area. Small seating areas, cozy little fire pits, and a really cool, happy crowd. This might be my new favorite spot to go in this area.

The bouncers here aren’t uptight and know how to handle drunk people. Kudos to you guys! I like the vibe here especially when I’ve had a long day and all I want to do is actually listen and have a conversation with friends without me screaming just so they could hear me. We had a few chocolate stouts, some peachy shot and Moscow Mule sans copper mug. The drinks are pretty strong. That or my tolerance for alcohol has dropped since I haven’t been drinking. I just like how chill it is here. No obnoxious tourists celebrating their 21st birthday here. Yay!
