This pizza is average. Not bad just nothing extraordinary. The crust is medium. I’ve had much thinner. The cheese is gooey but bland in flavor. The sauce is mild. I liked the fact that they use fresh mushrooms, my husband liked the thin sliced sausage. Not much more to say. Does the trick but not unique in any way.

Very good ingredients make for a great pizza, and that’s what they serve up for you at Paesan’s, a local chain started by a group of brothers from Brooklyn. We went with a margherita pizza and one of their stuffed breads — both superb. The owner is friendly and outgoing — he sought us out as newbies, regaling us with the story of how he and his brothers came up to Albany to start a business with nothing but their Brooklyn street smarts and the love of their Italian family to sustain them. Great place for you pizza fix.

Pretty good pizza for this region. If you are from NYC area this pizza won’t be good but if you live in the upstate region and want thin crust pizza then you are in luck. Overall, good for this region if you want thin crust NYC style pizza.

I never thought I would say this but the tomato sauce Paesan’s makes for the chicken parmigiana dinner reminds me of something I could get in my hometown in NJ, where you can throw a rock and hit an incredible Italian restaurant. Their salad could use a little dressing up, but at least the iceberg lettuce and veggies are fresh. I also really like their veggie special pizza. If you’re looking for a quick Italian meal to go, Paesan’s is the place!

By far one of my favorite pizza place to get slices in the capital region. When I come in, I always get the Bacon Chicken Ranch slice. Never a disappointment. At times, I do get the rolls that they offer and those also taste amazing with the marinara sauce. The Garlic Knots are also something I would recommend. The staff are awesome. The manager even knows what I order every time I walk in for slices now. They do not stay open late nights for the drunk college kids, but they really don’t need to because it’s all about quality, not quantity.

The worst. I ate at their location in Colonie years ago; it was gross and I swore I’d never go back. However, after my partner had a bad day, I decided to order from here. He swore he loved it years ago, but I had always refused. Assuming their Latham location might be better, we ordered an array of options, hoping I’d increase the chances something was edible. It was not. Their pizza is disgusting; it’s somehow a mix of hard and rubbery. Even if it had been cooked properly, there were no redeeming qualities. The sauce is gross. Even the sausage was not sausage but some cheap imitation that tasted awful. The garlic knots, typically a difficult thing to mess up, were so bad I couldn’t even bring myself past the first bite. Surely the salads couldn’t be bad? Wrong. What kind of place puts mushrooms and artichokes on a garden salad? And I don’t mean gently placing them on top in a way that can easily be removed by a normal person not expecting their presence. But finely chopped and tossed so as to say«HAHA, good luck getting it out!». Any person that eats this pizza and enjoys it wouldn’t know good pizza if it sat on their face.

Thanks for great pizza really enjoyed my first time here. Had the Italian Stallion slice. The tables and restaurant was clean, it was busy, but service was quick, and polite. Rest room was also clean. Will be back here again.

Grading the pizza, boneless wings and garlic knots. I’m partial to NY style, so had high hope for the pizza here. Got a large pepperoni. Pretty average. Crust a little thicker and stiffer than I prefer. No complaints about the sauce, cheese and pepperoni. The boneless wings are basically processed chicken nuggets. Similar to what I get in a plastic bag at the grocery store. Garlic knots were fine, but no marinara sauce included. Guess you need to order that separately. Delivery was acceptable.

You pay for what you get! If you’re looking pizza by the slice, this is the place! Good thin crust for cheap! The service was fast and friendly. The garlic knots are«garlicky». So if you like garlic, you’ll like them.

Since moving to California, I often find myself dreaming of quality NYC style pizza. Upon my return home for a visit to the east coast, the first meal I had to have was a pizza from Paesan’s. This pizza does the trick and is everything a pizza should be, it is a bit on the greasy side, flat, good sauce and cheese. In my opinion, this is still one of the best«local» pizza chains in the Capital Region. Prices are a bit high, but you do get delicious pizza.

This is so far the best pizza I’ve eaten in the region. Everything I have had there has been amazing. I like deli n brew’s and difazzio’s pizza in Troy but this is the best.

Ordered a pizza with green peppers, got red and green peppers, sauce was minimal and had little flavor. Crust was like cardboard. Won’t be ordering from here again. Also, the online ordering system called Mealio is not efficient since there was an in store deal for what I ordered that cost $ 5 less than what I paid online and was declined the in store deal when I got there to pick up the pizza because«there was nothing they could do about it». That’s just bad customer service.

Had wanted to get some pizza when we got back in NY. Found this place on Google, and it’s great. Staff was super nice. We got slices all were excellent, great crust, good toppings, and a fun soda dispenser. This was a outstanding find.

Overall, I like Paesan’s. Their restaurant has plenty of booth seating with 2 wide screen televisions. Atmosphere was good, and the staff was friendly. The pizza is reminiscent of NYC flavor. The taste of the cheese and sauce is immaculate for that NY-pizza standard. The dough isn’t as impressive, it’s paper thin and has as much bulk as the cheese itself, which isn’t great for a pizza that’s not specified as thin-crust. The crust was good, but there isn’t too much of it. I enjoyed the novelty of the electronic drink machine, with the ability to alter the flavor of your soft drinks. I got a strawberry Sierra Mist. I thought that was pretty interesting, because I hadn’t seen one of these machines before. I’ll probably come back to Paesan’s a few times.

Terrible food. Of all the places in Latham, this is the poorest. Their food was delivered cold. But even warm, it would not have been good. Salad was minimal. Dressing was vinegar, no oil. Garlic knots were soggy.

This is one of my favorite places to get, not pizza, but their rolls. I tried all the possible rolls they offer, sausage roll, pepperoni roll, buffalo chicken roll, the list goes on. I have never tried their pizza since I’m literally addicted to their rolls. And don’t forget that marinara sauce. On another note, I also had their garlic knots. They are pretty tasty as well.
