We were having a great time at the Edgewater and were about to catch a river taxi back to our casino when we realized how hungry we were and decided to stop here for a sandwich. We ordered the 12″ Cheesesteak Sandwich which came with Grilled USDA steak and melted white American cheese for $ 9.99. Two of us split the sandwich and It was VERY tasty. A little expensive for a sandwich but it was worth it for the convenience. This sandwich shop is bookmarked into my mind for the next Laughlin/Edgewater trip I take.

My wife and I had the Bobbie. We asked for it warmed up. It was not as good as the Earl of Sandwich Thanksgiving sandwich, but it was good. The price was appropriate for a restaurant in a casino in Laughlin. The food was served relatively quick, and it wasn’t pre-made sitting on a shelf for hours.

Stopped in the Edgewater for a few hours, and noticed Capriotti’s tucked away in the back of this resort. So, I decided to try out their famous Bobbie, because who doesn’t like turkey and stuffing with cranberry sauce? Two words… absolutely delicious, and not just because I was so hungry I could’ve eaten a horse.

Walked over to Edgewater to have dinner here our first night in Laughlin. There were several people in line ahead of us and it took awhile to get up to order. It was also warm waiting in line. I went with the small(9″) meatball sub. They didn’t have iced tea, so I got root beer. We sat down and waited a few minutes for our food. When I unwrapped my sub, I saw that it was a big sandwich with big meatballs! I ate half of it and then just ate the meatballs & cheese out of the second half. I couldn’t eat that much bread. Probably would’ve been a good idea to split a medium(12″). It was good, although I have to say I’ve had better meatball subs elsewhere.

Love going to Capriotti’s because they have vegetarian«turkey» meat and their sandwiches never disappoint. The small sandwich is a 9″ and I am able to eat half and save the rest for a second meal. The Bobby is hands down their best sandwich – soft fresh white roll topped with sweet cranberry sauce, warm stuffing and I have it with the veggie turkey. It’s like having Thanksgiving dinner whenever you want! My only gripe about my experience was that I visited this location on a Saturday night(mid-summer) so it was extremely busy. They only had one cashier and she was new so when I placed my order, she initially refused to substitute the turkey meat for the veggie turkey meat in The Bobby because the protein didn’t «look» the same(the real turkey is shredded vs. the veggie turkey is sliced). After telling her several times that it wasn’t the look of the sandwich that I was concerned about, it was that I didn’t eat turkey, she finally asked a manager what to do, who then showed her how to input the protein substitution. Always a great meal, filling and reasonably priced!

The Bobbie I thought was disgusting. I have had similar sandwiches from other places, I was expecting that but it was cold and just gross. I guess I thought it would hot. Regardless I disliked it. What saved this rating was the cheesesteak sandwich with sweet peppers, BOMB!!! I took my cousin extra half cause she felt bad mine was gross. What bothers me is, it’s voted Greatest Sandwich in America! For the nasty individual who gave it this rating, what the fuck did you grow up on?! Wet Cat food and Jam?! Shoot yourself fool, worst sandwich I ever had.

Had dinner there the one night we stayed in the edge water casino. Our subs were delicious, I had the roast beef sub, with coleslaw, Russian dressing and mayo. Had it served warm. Husband had chicken cheesesteak, also very good. Large servings!

Really good sandwiches. I had the cran-slam club which was great. Only thing I would change would be toast the bread. And my wife had the 9inch Italian sub. This thing was so big, it’s perfect for 2 people. We had to take the second half back to the room to enjoy later. Can’t wait to try another sandwich next time I’m there.

Very good sandwich. Not the best but not bad for a casino. Staff was rude so took it down a star.

Great sandwiches!!! Puts Subway to shame. The turkey is roasted and cut up like leftovers from Thanksgiving! The Italian sub was so good too.

This is a good sandwich shop. Had the italian and the philly and they were both very good. And it’s huge! Seriously the giant is the length of your arm. I’ll still get my pastrami across the river but we’ll hit this spot every time.

So me and the hubs went here today 11÷12÷14 no line so no wait we got a foot long(12 inch) pastrami sandwich I was greattttt I’m not huge on meat especially pastrami I’ve never been fond of it but my hubby convinced me after having a bite of their pastrami last time he had it and I was wow best pastrami I’ve had and today also it’s very good everything is so fresh!!! It’s more expensive than subway but very much worth paying those extra dollars you won’t get this kind of freshness at subway coming from someone who loves subway so I will deff be back.

The Edgewater and Colorado Belle properties did some housecleaning in 2013. At the Edgewater was a trio of fast food places: McDonalds, Sbarro, and Nathan’s Famous. The McDonalds was always busy. Sbarro was, in my opinion, an exercise in desperation, and Nathan’s while hit or miss, would satisfy your hunger. All 3 were closed and the replacement was Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop. On our last visit in March, we attempted to try this new place at 10 pm on a Thursday evening — but they were closing. The hotel casino’s only late night option was Coco’s downstairs and that was simply not a fast food option. Sigh… Thursday we tried again. 3 of the 4 sandwiches I wanted to try all had Russian dressing and I was leery. The Italian consisted of genoa salami, capricola and prosciuttini without Russian dressing so that was our choice. Since there were the two of us we had a choice of 9 inch, a 12 inch or a 20 inch, the best«bang for the buck» is the 20 inch and split it. As it turned out, that 20-inch sandwich can satisfy the hunger of 4 people for a quick snack to hold a crew over until a dinner extravaganza. We ordered the 20 inch and their computerized menu allowed our gracious and helpful order taker, Joey, to specify«quarters» and they then wrap up two halves of 10-inches halved again in the two wrappers. They included a bag without us asking that came in handy later. Perfect! We ordered one drink and it was $ 18. We sat down and each had a quarter sandwich and I packed the remaining quarters up to our room for a midnight snack. We got a free sample of the Russian dressing(spicy and flavorful) so that answered that question for future sandwich orders and a sample of the cole slaw that they offer on some sandwiches as an integral ingredient. They took our name and they really work at building a great sandwich. They offer it hot or cold. While we don’t’ understand why they dumped McDonalds(that the young kids appreciate) this new fast food restaurant is a refreshing new addition to the hotel/casino and we highly recommend them.

After a week of steaks, pizzas, and burgers I needed something lite and easier on my stomach. I ordered 2 medium sandwiches. Steak sandwich, tuna sandwich, and the kids meals all were a good size. Bread was soft tuna was tasty and the veggies hit the spot. Took a bit of the steak sandwich it was tender juicy and most of all flavor full. Kids got ham and cheese, and turkey and cheese both were pretty good. Now I bought 4 combos and it was only 36 dollars! Yes that’s right 36 dollars BARGIN!!! Only bad is that it’s on the casino floor but he’ll you can take it up to your room. I will be having another lunch soon.

I eat here fairly regularly, and I’m always happy with my food. The Capastrami is amazing, the cheese steak is delicious, and the Italian is awesome too. I’m even a fan of their turkey subs, and I didn’t think I would be. Prices can be a little expensive compared to subway, as pointed out by a previous reviewer, however their meats are mostly homemade instead of prepackaged bulk, and the sandwiches are enormous. Their small is 9 inches. The large is 20. A lot of people I know will split the large three ways and spend only 5 dollars for nearly 7 inches of sandwich. And considering the extra time and work that goes into maintaining the quality of the food, I’m certainly willing to pay a couple of extra bucks. On top of that, the staff behind the counter are super friendly and accommodating every time I’m there. I definitely recommend them to everyone.
