My boyfriend and I saw this Red Lobster while we were deciding on what to eat for dinner. We were both really excited to try it out because it was so close by. As soon as we walked in, it was really bad. The staff looked like they hated their lives and they weren’t very friendly. I said hi to the waitress that gave us out menus and she totally ignored me. I felt that it was very rude. The food was generally okay(but the cheddar biscuits were amazing). However the entrée took forever to get to us and the waitress we had came back after 20 minutes of taking our order to ask us what our sides were again. At no point were the old drink glasses or appetizer plates were cleared from our table. The.entire.time…so yes… Terrible service! We spent around 2 hours in there because service was slow. Definitely not returning

When I called to order, I was placed on hold for 15 mins. When I called back the person would ask me at least to repeat 3 times when I spoke up… ‘sir, you don’t have to yell! ‘.com’on. Really… This what I got to deal with for a 30.00 plus tab? No tip for you folks…

Dear Manager of the Laurel Red Lobster, I firmly believe you should give credit where it is due, and thus, I’d like to let you know that Daquan is the best server I have had… EVER! When my friend and I had 2 gulps left, he brought more water. Hot biscuits were on the table our entire visit. Daquan went out of his way to not interrupt our conversations. This man is THE prime example of what service should be, and it was given with a smile! We most appreciated his superior service, and hope you take the opportunity to recognize him amongst your team members. — — — — - To those of you wanting to know about more than Daquan’s awesome service, I want to caveat: do not let my 5 star rating fool you, with the exception of the biscuits, the food here is average. The crab legs are consistently boiled, not steamed, and tonight’s shrimp scampi was WAY over cooked(though I’d typically recommend it).

I came in on a Friday night with a party of 5. Despite my whole party being late they still say me immediately. My server got my drink while I waited. As my party arrived our server got everyone drinks and brought out those delicious cheddar bay biscuits and refilled them when they were empty– about 5 seconds later. The server was very patient as my party took forever to decide what to get. Our soup and salad came out perfectly. Our meals came out shortly after finishing our 1st course. Perfect timing. Our meals were all made perfect, with the correct sides. The server asked if we needed any extra sauce or dip or whatever and promptly returned with said items and to make sure things were going well. He even noted the birthday presents that were brought and at the end of meal gathered co worker with ice cream to sing happy birthday. He was even cool with the birthday cake my mom smuggled in. Our drinks were full and we were well taken care of as well as dishes being cleared as we ate. Hats off to our sever. Our check was settled quickly and the hostess even said happy birthday on our way out. Nice place with decent food and excellent staff.

Terrible Experience. Me and my guest came in at about 9:20. Our server(who was very sweet despite this negative experience) told us the kitchen would be closing soon in about 5 minutes so I felt rushed to order and i’m usually someone who takes her time to order. A few minutes later she came back and said that they had no more lemonade and only fountain drinks so i stuck with water. She then came back again and stated the kitchen did not have enough soup left for us both to get the soup we ordered so one of us would have to order another soup or side. They were also out of salad(who runs out of salad??) so we had to order something else. Our food did not take that long to come out. The biscuits were good, and so was the artichoke and seafood dip we ordered however my food was terrible. My guest was satisfied with his(he got shrimp skewers and rice and broccoli), I ordered the chicken linguine pasta and added shrimp. The linguine was overcooked and stuck together and tasted starchy. The pasta was bland, and then upon eating my second bite I found a HAIR on my chicken. Never have I found hair in my food at an establishment. The manager came out and said the standard«we take sanitation very seriously at our establishment… clearly…and said she would replace the meal.) We were still charged full price for everything, and employees were cleaning up at 9:30 till while we were eating our food. I don’t know of any restaurant whose kitchen closes at 9:30 when the restaurant is still open until 10. This is the worst restaurant experience I have ever had and I will not be returning to this location, and most likely any other Red Lobster if i have the choice.

Horrible. Waited for close to half an hour when there were sixteen tables open. SIXTEEN! Staff seemed preoccupied with taking to one another instead of getting people to tables. The least that they could have done was sit us down at a table and started in our appetizers and drinks. But no, waited for half an hour when they told us TENTOFIFTEENMINUTES. I guess they never learned simple math. If it was possible to give a negative start rating I would. But the application demands I give at least one star.

Waited for food for 40 minutes from time i arrived only to be told that they didn’t have the coconut shrimp I ordered! What else would I like; they would start preparing it now! i n ow understand all of the 1– and 2-star reviews. Spoke to manager who explained how busy they were – despite the fact that half of the tables were empty. Just no excuse for such incompetence.

If I had the choice, I’d give them no stars. The atmosphere and service here was terrible. I’ve worked for a Darden company before and since Red Lobster left, they have gone downhill. It took us not too long to get greeted by host then sat at a Booth near the bar. Then when we sat down, we weren’t greeted by the server until 8 minutes later. He didn’t introduce himself and asked us for our drink order. He mumbled his sentences and looked reluctant to serve us. My boyfriend asked for a margarita and a water. Then when he returned to take the order he only brought my drink. He told us the bartender was busy taking tables. Which is perfectly fine so he asked for his water again. Then another 10 minutes go by after placing our order, we we’re brought biscuits but still no drinks for my boyfriend. The biscuits were also uncooked and gooey so I asked for new ones. By now we had wasted 25 – 30 minutes here and still only got my drink and nothing else. The server was no where in sight neither were any other staff. This was 6:15pm on a Tuesday night. I get that it’s slow but no one came back to check on us. We couldn’t even find a staff member to complain to. We waited another 10 minutes before walking out to go to the TGIF next door, which was sooooo much better. Again this was my worse experience with this franchise. Its such a disappointmeny.

Can’t say much for the food because I was never served. We were seated right away but walked out after sitting there for 25 minutes without even being served our drinks. I’m a pretty patient person and I could understand if it were busy but it was 2:30 in the afternoon and the place was empty. To make matters worse, the one time we did see our waitress, she wasn’t very pleasant. Soo needless to say, I will not be coming back.

Only thing I’d go to Red Lobster for nowadays is their biscuits. Food is way too salty and ridiculously overpriced.

I wanted to give this place a one star review after my experience. My relatives from Korea came over and we wanted to take them to a tasty seafood place so we chose Red Lobster. When entered and sat down and the restaurant was fairly empty. I think I saw maybe 5 or 6 tables full. It was a tuesday night. It took about 5 minutes to be greeted by our server which I felt was a bit long considering there weren’t that many patrons inside the place. I didn’t really care too much. She came and I ordered a round of waters for everyone my uncle and I ordered Heinikens and my father ordered a Sams. After he heard both of us order Henie’s he ordered one too so we ordered 3 Heinies. I’m not sure how long it took for the server to bring out our beers, but she brought out 2 beers with no glasses on the tray. I reminded her that we ordered 3 and she replied«I know, I’ll bring it out.» There’s no way that she couldn’t hold 3 beers at once and so I know for a fact she forgot the third one. That’s honestly okay though. People make mistakes. But she didn’t say sorry, or anything like that which kind of threw me off. she just said I know I’ll be right back. Maybe we’re a bit wierd but we like drinking together. I shouldn’t take too long to pop off the cap and bring over another one. It took more than 5 minutes to get it, even though we were right next to the bar. We had to ask her twice for the 3rd beer to which she kept replying. I know, I’ll get it. Okay…again no apology. She finally brought out the beer and placed it on the table and walked away without saying anything At this point we only had 4 glasses of water for 7 people. We asked for more water and by the end of the night, we had more than 10 glasses of water and 3 of those 10 glasses weren’t even touched. After our appetizers and soups were brought out, our table wasn’t cleared. We had to organize everything and put it on the side of the table where there was no space so we just placed everything on the extra chair. I asked her to clear the table for us and handed her the pile of trays that was on the chair. She kind of looked at it and seemingly reluctantly took the plates. There were still several plates on the middle of the table which were also stacked that she didn’t take. I understand that many places have busboys to take care of this, but there was no bus boy or anything to clear our stuff. When the food finally came out, the empty trays were on the table and I thought she’d start clearing some stuff out before she left but as she turned her back to us and started to walk away, I asked her to clear the table again. I was absolutely fed up at this point, and I was trying to be as polite as possible and I asked her if I could speak to her manager. As we were eating(though my experience sucked, we all agreed that our food was still pretty delicious). the manager came over and I explained to him our situation. I mentioned that if we were rude in any way possible, then we’d like to apologize as well, but pretty much told him about our awful dining experience because of our server.(I also was a server as well as my younger brother and now how stressful it can be. I’m okay with inexperienced, new servers that don’t really know what they’re doing. I just have a problem with people that are rude) The reason I am giving this place a 2 star over a 1 is because the manager rectified the situation and the food was actually good. I did not expect any sort of compensation. We can to eat good food and leave satisfied which we did and for that we should pay full price. However, the manager did comp our meal 20% which I did not expect and showed me that at least the manager tried his best to enhance our dining experience. Eventually our server came back and said«I apologize about that.» I said thank you. All in all, I will never come back to this establishment again. Even though the manager did a great job of listening and ensuring us that this wouldn’t happen again, I don’t think I can ever come back.

This spot was okay. Just stopped in for a carryout order. Lobster pizza is always a big hit with me, and I always love the biscuits there. This place needs to be renovated or moved to another location. There is no natural light in here, and the place looks dark and creepy. From the last time a year ago the place looks the same to me. I think a great renovation, and reopening is in order since everything in laurel is building up.

I seriously dislike most seafood. Let’s just say that fish reminds me of not so clean genitalia, so maybe my review on Red Lobster in Laurel maybe a little biased based on the fact that I despise pretty much everything they sell as a normal entrée. Now, don’t get me wrong, their non seafood offerings are fairly decent. When forced to go here, I generally have the chicken alfredo or something else completely not with the theme of the restaurant. However, the general smell of the place will often make me feel nauseous after a few minutes of being there. That said, the place is relatively clean, the staff are nice, and the parking is actually decent because it’s a part of the Laurel Lakes outlet mall area. If they just didn’t serve seafood, I would love it. Let’s face it, the cheddar biscuits are the real reason to eat at this place. Everything else is secondary.

Well I don’t understand all the bad reviews maybe I got lucky. We came right when they opened. Had to wait a moment before they knew we were there. No biggie. Our waiter was excellent. Granted we were the only ones there. I don’t think the food tasted like frozen food at all. Everything was great. Server was very accommodating. The drinks(yes drinks at 11am) were very tasty and weren’t «weak» as others suggested. We left pretty twisted haha. I had an wonderful experience here. It was a great way to start off the new year. I will definitely come back here at some point. I really hope that the experience is the same.

I asked for soup instead of salad, i got charged $ 2.50 for a expresso like size supposedly clam chowder soup. I barely saw any clam in it, a few small pieces. Otherwise, the soup tasted like can soup. I asked for rice as my side and i got charged extra. I couldn’t order popcorn shrimp as one of the shrimp for the«Choose any three shrimp» because it would have been extra charge. Prices have been raised very high but food is not that great. Not that great experience!

Service was extremely slow, food taste like frozen food, like its been sitting in the kitchen for months and months. Found a hair stuck in the ice from the Margarita i ordered. I do not recommend this red lobster to anyone! I personally would not come here ever again and its a shame cuz my boyfriend and i recently moved in to this town and Red Lobster is one of my favorite restaurants. Sucks! But its by far the worst experience ive ever had.

Don’t come here too late, they will try to rush you out and the foods bottom of the barrel. Of course the biscuits are great! I usually love the snow crab legs. My fiancé loves the salmon. When it’s good it’s great when it’s not it sucks. Bahama mamas are good to drink with this!

–Service was so slow I wanted to to scream! The waiter seemed new, that’s fine I understand. –They gave us salads with no silver ware Soup came after the meal — restroom was filthy! –food was bland –asked for marinara sauce for our pasta Waiter forgot. The waiter should have tipped me for not losing my patience Sad thing is that I used to work here and I had to leave because this was the dirtiest red lobster it have ever been to. after years of boycotting red lobster I heard that they were under a new franchise. So we decided to give it a try. Fail!!! When I worked at this red lobster is was like 6 now it’s like a 4 I feel like calling BBB to shut this place down. This red lobster needs to be «unda da sea» with that Jamaican lobster from the little mermaid. This place gets 1 star from me

DISAPPOINTED! We started with the onion rings(too cooked for me — the inside onion was all dried), stuffed mushrooms(I didn’t try it but the kids enjoyed it), salad(hey can’t mess salad up… or can you??), biscuits are always on point even though I had 1 that was under-cooked. I ordered the Ultimate Feast, my crab legs tasted like they were old, over-cooked and not seasoned one bit, my shrimp for my shrimp scampi was small but ok, didn’t touch the mashed potatoes. My daughter said her shrimp Alfredo wasn’t good at all. She didn’t eat it. My mom enjoyed the coconut shrimp. I ordered a glass of Riesling and the bottom of my glass was filthy! It was 5 of us and we were seated at a booth with a chair pulled(I hate that). Even though it wasn’t a lot of foot traffic going by the table was pretty small for 5 people to comfortably eat. Our waiter Ahmad was super swamped but did a fantastic job tending to our table. It was pretty crowded when we got there so we had to wait about 40 minutes. This was my second or third time at this Red Lobster and sad to say I don’t think I will be going back any time soon. My stomach hurts…
