I gave this place three tries before writing a review. They don’t season the food ATALL. Last time I paid for fresh catfish and had them fry it. It had no salt, pepper or anything. I dumped a ton of hot sauce on it and still couldn’t eat it. Today I decided to try the trout broiled. They literally slapped the thinnest price of trout they could find on the grill and threw it on top of some boiled to death broccoli. Not one grain of salt on the fish or any other seasoning. I just threw it in the garbage and I will not be going back! Go to mid-Atlantic seafood in Laurel if you are in the area. This place is a rip off!

Since ruff and ready is so far I come to Cameron’s. I must give this place 3 stars. I’ve had some nice crab legs from them. Customer service is not at all great here. So don’t expect it. They don’t greet you or barely even speak, smh.

Where do I start? I’ve gotten good crabs from here before, but it’s not my preference. Because of the weather, I wanted to go somewhere close to home. I paid $ 30/dozen regular males. Thank God they were out of the $ 50 jumbos, or I would have wasted $ 50 instead of $ 30. I’d read reviews about bad crabs, but because I had good ones and really wanted them, I ignored them. I waited for them to «cook» them, but the bag wasn’t really hot and steamy like bags of crabs tend to be. A little warm. My mind was elsewhere so this didn’t hit me until I got home 10 minutes later. Usually riding home with crabs, the smell is tempting me to pull over and eat a crab right then, but not these. Get in the house and the crabs were not too hot to eat, like they usually are ten minutes after cooking them. In fact, they were barely warm. Only 5 out of the bag were edible. The rest were mushy and mealy and gross. Like they were old. Just downright disrespectful! The shrimp had good flavor, but were over cooked(probably re-heated) and half were hard to peel. Next time I will drive right by here for 15 more minutes and pay more money at Crab Galley in Bowie. My feelings are still hurt 5 days later.

Got a stuffed salmon sandwich for $ 8.99. Are you kidding? Lots of meat in there and cooked well. Very impressed with the value here

Would give 0 stars if possible. Just got a bushel from Cameron’s for my 4th of July party and everybody was disappointed. More than half the crabs were mealy. Most of them smelled terrible. And at a holiday price of $ 175 per bushel getting such bad crabs is just not okay. Most went uneaten. Will not be returning to Cameron’s in Laurel.

Service and prices were fine, but food is so/so. Find a better restaurant if your looking for quality seafood. I live in walking distance from this place, but i drive 20 minutes because of better places that serve better tasting seafood.

Food and customer severice SUCKS! I ordered a $ 9 cream of crab soup that was cold. Ordered a taliapia dinner and the fish tasted as if it was fried hours ago and redipped in grease. Called back to explain my food situation and the manager was rude and inconsiderate. AVOID this place! You’re better off getting a McFish from McDonald’s

Yuck. I come here about every other year thinking that maybe it would’ve improved. It’s convenient to where I live and today we just wanted seafood from somewhere close. When I bit into that first unseasoned steamed shrimp, I regretted that I just didn’t get my shrimp out the freezer & steam it my damn self. Lesson learned. This place just gets worse every time I visit. I mean, how do shrimp taste bland after you dumb a whole bunch of seasoning on it? WTF are they using? Sawdust??? Why not Old Bay? And the crab cake takes like cornbread-tasteless cornbread. Do they even taste their own food? Next time I’m going to Casey’s or By the Bay.

I decided to order some whole male crabs from here, the were subpar. I have had much better Crabs from locations closer and nearby. The crabs aren’t that great.

I went to Cameron’s yesterday(2÷12÷13). I had a order of fried shrimp which was okay. It had a heavy fried coating but the shrimp was a good size. Then I ordered a Rainbow Trout fish dinner, the skin on the fish was like leather and it had no taste. The seasoning wasn’t there. The fries were old. I was also charged $ 1 more on my credit card. If I hadn’t pulled out the receipt and re-checked I wouldn’t have seen the mistake. My charge was 18.06 but my card was charged $ 19.06. I won’t be going back to this place.

Service The moment I walked in I noticed the friendliness of the staff. They provide a comfortable, playful interaction which makes you feel appreciated as a customer. From ordering my meal to receiving it was appropriate. I did not feel like they rushed making the meal and I didn’t feel like to took too long. Along with customer service, they actually sell raw seafood for you to cook, as another service. Quality The quality of the meal was so, so. I is worth going back. The fish tasted extremely fresh. The hush puppies were okay, nothing to write home about. The platters are a good portion for you to have for lunch and dinner. Or if you want to share a meal, a single platter would sufice.

ANOTHERONEBITESTHEDUST. Thanks, camerons, for the fried oyster sub on the bun I literally could not chew through. I almost took it back, but since I was in the car headed out of fown on the Baltimore Washington Parkway, I just said screw it and kept driving. That’s why I’m writing this now. It’s really a shame too cause I’ve actually had a decent meal or two at this place in the past. But no more, stupid Cameron’s cook guy, you’ve got to be a little more careful than that to ever get me to eat your crap/food again. Yeah, this sandwich was basically gross and that’s all there is to it. Next time I’ll bring a saw.

Im new to the area and coming from the midwest to a coastal area, All of my friends back home ask me about the Seafood… how is it? Is it better than here… Well i haven’t made to the docks of Chesapeake to feast on crab, but I will say Cameron’s is a great stop in the meantime while planning a seafood excursion trip. The crab cakes were very tasty, and the Spicy Shrimp is addictive… I think they mix in some crack with the spicy seasoning because I ate half a pound and was plotting on how I could get back as soon as possible for some more… The prices are not crazy and the proportions are a good size… Try them out, your iodine level will shoot through the roof!
