Simply put, Tie is the BEST! She has been my stylist at 2 very opposite ends of my hair journey … during my outlandish cuts and color phase a few years ago, and my current fully natural state. Her focus has always been on healthy hair, which I love about her. She maintains an extremely professional atmosphere, and I’ve never experienced long waits or double-​booking with her. She’s awesome!

This girl can CUT some hair, with precision! She is extremely professional and masters her kraft. I am VERY picky about my hair and when I go to her my hair requires no last minute tweaks. She uses the top of the line products and does not cut corners. No flea market hair over here.

Tie was so good to me. I bought a livingsocial deal for a keratin treatment. I called to set up an appointment and left a message. She called me back later that day.
She agreed to an early morning appointment to accommodate my schedule. And then I accidentally slept in and missed the appointment. I felt so terrible, but she handled it very professionally.
She scheduled another appointment for me. The appointment started a bit late because the girl before me had extremely long hair. I didn’t mind waiting considering the fact that I had completely missed our first appointment.
Tie was really sweet. She explained the process and how I could best take care of my hair after the treatment. You can tell she really cares about her clients.
I waited to see how the keratin treatment held up after a month before posting this. My hair is healthier, less frizzy, and holds its style. I can still wear it curly if I want. If I blow dry it, it doesn’t go wavy or limp after 20 minutes. It still looks good the next day.
After the first 10 washes, it didn’t blow dry quite as quickly as it did initially, but Tie had explained that would be the case. I haven’t noticed a decline since then.
I have had tons of compliments on my hair since I got this treatment, but the biggest benefit was for my hair health and my time.
Keratin treatments are really expensive, but they really do wonders for your hair. I couldn’t justify the cost at $ 200+, but Tie’s livingsocial deal was so worth it. And she runs them fairly often.
Tie is hardworking and does a great job running her business. I would definitely recommend her services.

I went to see Tie for a keratin treatment 3 – 4 months ago. This was my first experience both with Tie and keratin, and it was a good one. Tie’s space is stylish, well-​organized, and cozy. While I usually prefer to keep to myself and read while having my hair or nails done, Tie kept up an engaging conversation with me the entire time. My hair looks great, and the experience was a great one. I’ll be going back for another treatment when this one wears off, and I have already recommended her to friends.

The secret to good hair: TIE.
I’ve been seeing Tie since I was fourteen! Now I’m in my last year at college and I doubt I’ll ever find a stylist as good as Tie. I call weeks in advance to make sure she can get me in on all of my school breaks.
Not only has she made my hair movie-​star quality, she’s given me the best guidelines for taking care of my hair when I’m away at school. She only recommends the brands, tools, and products that she trusts and has used herself. She turned me onto the Keratin treatment in May 2010 and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I trust her with my hair completely! And if I have a question all I have to do send a quick email or text.
I recommend her to all my friends and family, who are constantly asking how I keep my hair so healthy. I don’t know what I’d do without her!
