Owned by the same people who run Bakin Bagels. best bagels on the island by far. Whether you think Ny or Nj makes the best bagels, beach bum bagels will follow suit for either shore-goer.

Five people working and not one smile in the place. When we requested to have our bagels toasted, we were told«No, we aren’t toasting today» Very disappointing experience!!!

Really nice workers and good bagels! They made the coffee for me and the bagel was good. They even had low fat cream cheese. I recommend this place for your morning

Good place to pick up breakfast or lunch for the beach. Prices are right & service is ok. Mostly teenagers working in there. Not always that speedy but no big deal. Call ahead & place your order if you’re in a rush

Great local spot to grab breakfast from. My personal favorite is a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything or garlic bagel. They also have cream cheese and other breakfast amenities for sale. Their breakfast food is far superior when compared to the DD across the street.

Loooooove NJ bagels in general so you’d have to be terrible to turn me away, however, Beach Bum is right in town and I love it! They have a bunch of varieties but in the off season and busy times they can run out of certain ones if they don’t predict the demand right(damn people who get all 12 pumpernickel!!). However, they are super yummy and I like the plain and blueberry. They also have homemade cream cheese in tons of types like veggie, chive, lox, etc. I think they have sandwiches and other stuff but ugh, bagels are always the best! I wouldn’t classify it as a restaurant but they do have tables… A dozen bagels is currently $ 10.50 so it’s a high premium over grocery store prices but whatever, they are soooo much better!
