#1 Buffet

I don’t normally like buffet because i tend to eat too much. For a buffet, this place is very affordable. For lunch on weekdays, you pay the same as eating at Panda Express and this place offers much more variety. I love to have soup with my meal and they offer 3 choices. There is a lot of variety to choose from. I cannot recommend enough of this place. For my male co-​workers who eat a lot, i definitely recommend eating at this place.

The restaurant closed at 930p we sat down, order drinks and got our food. I notice the workers was just sitting around waiting to start cleaning up. I think that was rude, they should have patience!!!

I use to come here before, so I took my family here on Friday 1÷8÷2016 and we had our food my little niece had some white steam rice. She had one bite and spit it out, was not sure why until we smelt the rice it was spoiled. Told the waitress who took the whole pan in the back. Once we got our check we told the manager about the rice and just told us that the waitress that we spoke to did not speak english and that they make 3 pot of fresh rice. We even spoke to the waitress asking her about the rice and she nod yes and the manager was upset and kept saying she do not speak english.

The food is alright. Some of food are cold leftover from lunch. Sushi quality ain’t perfect buy they did their best. I just give it a try to see why they name #1 buffet

Unilocalers let me down on this I always read reviews before I go to a new place I had not idea why some Unilocalers liked about this place I’m only giving it 2 stars because we had a friendly greeter and the cheap price, besides that the food sucks very bad selection and very tasteless I will never go back save your money and go elsewhere they are far better places to eat.

Yummy food, workers here are sometimes rude but the good thing is it’s a buffet so you don’t really need to come across them a lot. Love there crab legs and sushi. My go to when i want to go to a buffet. Food and dessert are delicious.

I go there often, this is the best place for oriental food in the area, reasonable price and the food is delicious, and the service is great.

This place has been here for most of the time I’ve been living in Hawthorne and I can see it from my bathroom window, yet I’ve only recently taken the time out to give them a try. I did go on a day when I was feeling super hungry, so I thought a buffet was a great place to go! I was feeling self conscious about going by myself but when I walked in I saw several people there alone as well… made me feel better. :-)
They have several items that you would get at any $ 1 dollar Chinese food restaurant. Orange Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Chow Mein, Fried Rice, etc. The food is decent when you can catch a «fresh» batch of anything. My two favorite items are the «Chicken on a stick» and the «Crispy Honey Shrimp.» A plate of those with some of the fried rice and I’m good to go!
They also offer a selection of desserts. I’ve never left any room for dessert so I can’t really say how those tastes. One downfall about going to a Chinese buffet (for me) is having a little knowledge about how Asian cultures feel about being wasteful so even when I feel like I’m about to burst I feel obligated to finish everything on my plate so that I don’t seem wasteful or ungrateful lol… smh
The service is really good too. Very nice wait staff.

Their food and hospitality manners suck. This place sucks. when we went to eat there they made lots of errors, no apology… Their employees standing up in line looking,… No manners. Above all, their food did not taste good at all because of that. I would not recommend you to go have food there. They sucks. Don’t go there.

Go to when I’m broke, starving and don’t feel like cooking. Dinner special starts at 330pm and they serve soft shell crab. Yum!!!

My boyfriend and I wanted to eat crab legs and I remember coming here a couple years ago and thinking the food was pretty good and a great price. We chose this over the seafood buffet at the Del Amo mall, only because it was cheaper. Big mistake!
I just left here 30 minutes ago and we are both sick to our stomach. Not only was the food cold but the egg rolls and crab legs had a sour taste. The fountain drinks were watered down. Rice was bland. Shrimp was gross. Baked fish had a funny after taste. I am not satisfied at all and I can not believe we had to waste $ 30 on this sh*t hole! Please do not come here. Take this as a warning.

Went here today hungry and wanted to check this place out. The price for lunch is reasonable low at 9 dollars. The food selection is vast and the taste is good enough. They have good desert choices and for the price it is well worth it. Although there are better place but for the price this can’t be beaten. Now on the negative side. The place needs an upgrade already it is showing it’s age. The carpet needs to be replaced as it is dirty as in yucky. The seat and table are clean enough but could use an update. The service is good. The waitress that served me was nice so I tipped her good. Not everyone was tipping by the way. The reason I took two stars off is I saw a big fly on the buffet and called the server at once but low and behold doesn’t speak English! Hello there’s a big fly in the buffet table! Anyway if your hungry and in a budget toy can check this place and do check if there are flies in the food before you get seated!

I ate there once and that was good enough for me. No return trips. I thought the food was just ok — nothing to write home about!
I had no desire to go back again — regardless of the price. But if you gotta make that dollar stretch, I suppose it’s ok. It’s just not for me.

This place… how do I start?
The pricing is a little too high for the quality of the food.
Now the food. IT’S GROSS.
I recently discovered that they do not remove the feces from the shrimp. That’s disgusting. And the vegetables taste like nothing. Pure GMO Quality.
I feel like I’m eating a plate full of sodium.
Anyways don’t go here.

It gets the job done ! Want sushi? Check. Want a different variety of chicken? Check. Want fish, crab, mussels? Check, check, and check. Just leave enough room for dessert. From jello to ice cream, and pudding to fruits. Check.
The food has a good taste, and the price is fair.

Out of all the buffets in the area this is my favorite haha, but I still try not to come here if I don’t have to. My grandparents love this place and I have to make them happy right? But like I said, best one in the area. Favorites are Mongolian Pork and Mushroom Chicken, but standard Chinese buffet selection which they change out frequently. They also have a sushi section which isn’t terrible. Servers do their job. Lots of parking and seating. I think it’s $ 13 for dinner and on weekends, not so bad. I really liked this place when it was a regular Chinese restaurant I can still remember as a kid. With the Lazy Susan in the middle and everything haha. But I’ll probably be back whenever the Gparents are craving.

They have great service great food there’s nothing to complain about but at times they will lack on ur bridge

No complaints, 10 dollars for lunch post tax, 11 post tip.

I really see no complaints here other than the outdated décor.
The Mongolian pork with scallions is very tasty.
Definitely would go here again for lunch.

Ok, so I have been here a handfull of times since it became a buffet and I have to say… its just ok as far as chinese food goes.augh. I normally stick to the BBQ chicken as how can they mess that up huh??? along with some white rice… playing it safe.
I also had the jello… yummm lol
only will be back when friends insist. augh.

Came here to have dinner, the food was good and there was a lot of variety, enjoyed their baked fish and orange chicken. Some of the food was not that fresh though. After dinner I also enjoyed their green tea

Las mejores brochetas de pollo que he probado, su arroz refrito con huevo es delicioso y no se quedan atrás los suculentos y apetecibles camarones con miel, simplemente vale la pena.
