This place is GARBAGE. Flies flying around… *DISGUSTING* food! My husband and I both threw our food out after a few bites.

This place is cheap! Dirt cheap! You can’t beat their prices and if you eat Chinese take out, you know most of it pretty much tastes the same anyway. Everything here tastes exactly how it looks, so choose wisely. I usually get the spicy beef, spicy chicken, or mushroom chicken. It reminds me of the food I used to eat in a canteen in Haidian. My wife likes the won ton soup. They put a lot of stuff in it and, if you like soup, I recommend that. The Mongolian Beef looks good in the photo, but honestly, their combos are just so much cheaper. The lady who works the counter is very friendly and very nice. She always seems to be there, so I’m guessing she’s either an owner or she works everyday. She smiles a lot and her English isn’t the greatest, but if you can point and say things like«Combo A» or «Spicy Chicken» you won’t have any problems. I’ve never had any problems, and once she even gave me a fortune cookie when I tipped her some change. That was nice. Also, I’ve seen her take someone’s order in Spanish, which I found quite impressive. The only thing I don’t like about this place is actually eating here, for obvious reasons. However, if you do, just make sure you buy something to drink or bring your own. Asking for water is a real pain. Other than that, it’s cool.

Very affordable price. One item combo including chow mien and fried rice is only $ 3.25. I had chicken mushroom. The taste is okay, but I am looking forward to come again and try other things.

This area is ghetto for sure. HOWEVER… ghetto also translates to food that is cheap as hell. I needed to place an order for 30-ish hungry people(mostly dudes) but I only had a budget of about $ 150 to work with. I first went to Wok Wok Express and they were not only about $ 15-$ 20 more expensive per tray, but they kept on insisting I had to order more food to feed 30 people and really weren’t very helpful at all. Then I just happened to pass by Hong Kong Combo. I ordered the same sized trays I would have gotten from Wok Wok and the woman who worked there was great! She was patient as I tried to decide what to order and she also helped me keep track of how much I’ve spent. I’ve arranged catering all over SoCal for film crews of 30+ and one of the most annoying things that a restaurant can do is not be ready when I say I need the food by. Several times I’ll have to sit in the restaurant for 15+ minutes waiting for them to finish preparing the food. I expect food to be ready for a hit and run pick up at the time I give them since we run on a tight schedule and food needs to be ready as soon as lunch is called. Hong Kong Combo was very punctual. I was in and out within 5 minutes and they even helped me load everything into my car. As for the food quality… pretty much tastes like Panda. I do like the mushroom chicken a lot though~

Located in the Ghetto hood of Hawthorne Blvd and Rosecrans Blvd. Food is OK. Very mediocre Chinese food but better then most Mom and pops Chinese fast food. My Dad Likes the Chow Mein and Curry Chicken here. once in a while, I’ll stop in to get some cheap food Togo. Their Chowmein and Curry Chicken is not bad. tasty if fresh cook. What’s horrible is their customer service! They close at 9pm. By 6 or 7pm if they run out of their«fast food» tray items they will stop making it… for example, the Curry chicken. Fine I get it. So last week I stopped by at 7pm, There was only a little bit of curry chicken left, enough for one item dish. I was waiting for the chow mein(which surprisingly they cooked some fresh ones) and the server KNEW I wanted the Curry Chicken. She then served the next customer and gave it away to him! I was furious and asked her why she did that while she was serving him, she mumbled something like oh… opps… and continued to give him the curry chicken! WHYDIDN’T SHESTOPPEDANDTELLTHEGUYTHATWASRESERVEDFORME!!! When the guy paid, I asked her again. She said oh, I didn’t know you still wanted it. Why wouldn’t I? I ordered the curry chicken with Chow mein and was waiting in front of your counter for chow mein, As you told me to, and you gave my Curry Chicken away! I asked her if she was going to make some more because I am willing to order 2 – 3 portions of it, she said no and asked me to take the dried up Broccoli beef that’s been sitting there for hours! I told her if this is your customer service, you just lost a customer! She kind of looked downward and was quiet about it! I walked off and vowed never to go there anymore. Not even an apology or excuse me! They run out of their items 2 or 3 hours before closing time and expect the customers to chow down their left over, dried out remainders! This is not the first time this happens. If they run out of food 2 to 3 hours before closing time and not going to make anymore, then just close the damn business for the day/night! Their fast food is cheap, 2 items with rice or chowmein for $ 5. But food is not really that great, just convenience. I guess you get what you paid for. Cheap food for cheap/stinking customer service!!!
