Driving home from LA and saw them on Unilocal.Super casual and inside a market and bakery. Very Mexican marketplace and family run feeling. Super nice people. We had menudo and chilaquiles. Menudo was good, chilaquiles with green sauce were excellent! Incredible prices too.

I come here for the Carne asada burritto, I add on guacamole and sourcream. Let me tell you this place is delicious. I usually eat here once a week it’s worth it, I am pretty sure people would be satisfied. The prices are reasonable and not expensive.

This place is great! I highly recommend it. Instead of going to a fast food joint, this place is quality with great service. Owners are extremely nice. I’ve been coming here for about 6 months and it never disappoints. Usually once a week I stop by. The prices are excellent. I never spend more than 10 bucks. I usually get a sandwich or burrito, and that only comes out to around 6 bucks. Free chips and salsa. During lunch now the offer a buffet special for 7.50. Something different everyday. I had it once and thought it was good. Also, they have fast service. I dine in and usually am out out within 30mins. And any soccer fans, they have two flat screens and always televise Champions League matches during the week. So if your in the area, this is place is perfect to catch the games during lunch.

I really like this place. Been coming here for a couple of months for workday lunch, usually a burrito. It’s more of a food counter in a separated section at the back of a Vietnamese market, but that’s part of the charm. Full grill menu with American and Mexican choices. Sort of like a food truck inside a brick and mortar. Added bonus is the banh mi sandwich counter in the dining area(not sure if it is part of the business, but they are collocated for sure). Great banh mi, and I think the only banh mi in Lawndale. But the topper is the fresh baked French baguettes and mini-baguettes they sell there, along with other baked sweet breads and Peruvian empanadas. You gotta try this place and talk it up to your friends. These nice people deserve to succeed — there’s nothing better than seeing a hard working family succeed in their pursuit of the American dream.

Ate here the other day for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Was hesitant as it was in a market, but glad we tried it. Great food — the cowboy potatoes were my favorite. Pancakes were also delicious. Only issue we had was trying to pay with a debit card and leave a tip.

The friendliest people you’ll ever meet :) and the food is delicious! First they greet you nicely and are very attentive, then the food is rapidly prepared by the expert hands of the owner of that side himself which makes it extra special due to the care and dedication he puts on his dishes. The choices are great and they leave room for you to create your own dish within the ingredients they have. The environment is clean and nice doesn’t matter what day it is. Such a great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. DID I MENTIONTHEYMAKEFRUITBOUQUETS!

Kind of a generic restaurant, attached next to an ethnic supermarket, Vietnamese and Mexican combo. Behind this food counter were Mexican staff. Menu has basic food categories: breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, salads. And the chalkboard had the specials, under Especial. I made an off-menu order for Carnitas salad at lunch. Likes I said, very basic– iceberg lettuce, tomato, sliced boiled egg, carnitas, ranch dressing on the side. More quantity of meat than I would have expected, that’s a good thing. Hot sauce gave it a hot kick. Chips and homemade salsa included, along with a bread slice. Added up to $ 6.95 plus tax. Credit card use had $ 10 minimum so I paid cash. Service was very kind. First Unilocal review is a sacred occasion, so I’m going to be kind too, and generous with an extra star.
