Not for the faint-of-heart, nor the dieter! They offer a wide selection of burgers, steaks, fries and shakes. I only have 6# to go on my weight loss goal, but blew it on this visit. It’s mighty hard to mix dieting and Unilocaling, but I manage to balance the two. From the moment I walked through the door, I was a fan. The throwback design theme made my day. It reminded me of the throw-back burger joints that I commonly visit in Philadelphia and New York. I started off with a mouth-watering«semi-serious» angus burger with cheddar cheese and jalapenos. I added a order of deep fried mac and cheese wedges and loaded fries. Of course, to wash it all down, I had them build a delicious chocolate, green mint and almond shake. To make it official that I was cheating on my diet with some pretty awesome eats, I ordered the Oreo Mousse Mountain. My only regret was not ordering the largest hamburger they have, since I was well on my way to being rolled out of the door. I’ll be back, Cheeburger. Oh, yea — I’ll be back.

Poor service. Two of four orders were incorrect. Server disappeared after taking glasses for refill. Hair on one of the plates

Burger was great and the milk shake was the best I’ve ever had. The only negative is I didn’t like the fries.

Poor quality meat used in burgers leads to little to no flavor. Service took a while for everything from drinks to payment. The shakes were good, but everything felt overpriced.

Solid burger, great shakes, but it is the tons of choices that make Cheeburger special! This location is convenient for me, so I find myself here more often that I would care to admit; with good parking and easy access to Route 1, this is much easier to drive to than the Cheeburger in downtown Princeton. PROS: The burger itself(as in the meat) is fine — nothing special, just fine — but it is the amazing array of toppings that make it stand out. You can have everything from the traditional to the bizarre, and most for no extra charge(unless you want to load up the extra meats like bacon or pork roll!) For my money, the best sandwich on the menu is the patty melt. It is larger than a normal burger, and prepared exceptionally well. The fries and onion rings are just fine, but if you want real clog-your-arteries fried goodness, try the fried pickles or mushrooms with the horseradish dipping sauce. Nothing healthy at all here, but great flavor. The shakes. Man, they are great. These aren’t fancy, and almost all of the flavors are from syrups, but I don’t care at all. Mix and match to your heart’s content — or just stick with a simple favorite. They are the perfect consistency to drink through a straw or scoop with a spoon. CONS: The service can be a little hit-and-miss, especially if you aren’t there at peak times, but it hasn’t stopped me from coming back! If you get a burger with anything«wet» on it(condiments, toppings like pickles or peppers, etc) it will be dripping and very messy. The burgers are greasy on their own, and the fact that toppings aren’t drained at all can make for a disaster if you are dressed nicely. OVERALL: A good place for a burger and shake with friends, and I am sure I will be back!

Peanut butter and jelly shake. Normally, that would be enough said. This place has many ways to serve up a burger, and most toppings are free, no matter how any you add. One thing I have considerable thought to was a patty melt with a frilled portobello on top. Maybe next time…

I would rather go to McDonalds then give this place another try. I do not know if we were there on an off night but this experience was enough for me to tell everyone to stay away. Three burgers were ordered, and judging by the quality of ingredients everything even the guacamole is in a can or extracted from a tube. Unless they have found a new recipe for guacamole to make it taste disgusting. Who knew ordering pineapple would mean a few tiny pieces of canned pineapples. Even the bun was soggy and disgusting. I thought at least the fries would be good but we were also disgusted at those. They must have been cooked in old oil or something. Overall horrible experience, well except for the Oreo shake. The only highlight of the meal

I came here for lunch one day. The place was empty, but the ambiance reminds me of a Lick’s(chain hamburger joint up in Canada). Diner meets ice cream soda shop. I had a burger with cheddar cheese, carmelized onions, sauteed mushrooms, bacon, and lettuce. Onion rings on the side, and a cappuccino milkshake. I must say, the selection of milkshakes was impressive. My regular sized shake came in its blending container with a spoon that I definitely needed, as the ice cream was not blended completely through the shake. I liked that, though — a cross between a shake and a scoop of ice cream. I don’t think the shake was flavored with actual coffee — it was a little gritty from a powder, perhaps. The burger was the right size for me, and tasted like a burger. Unfortunately, the meat was dried out — perhaps because I did not choose the popular size of 1⁄3 pound, but the smaller burger. I was disappointed in it, however, it was topped right — everything was oozing out of the bun and that’s a hallmark of a well-topped burger. My waitress was knowledgeable and took me through the menu as I was a first timer. For being empty, and a single diner, the service was definitely slow. The waitress, was very pleasant. I may try the place for dinner, but I definitely wasn’t impressed with lunch.

We eat here way too much! The burgers are excellent with tons of topping choices, and there are many shake choices. It is an excellent value, and we never have to wait for a table. The kid menu has the usual suspects + fried Mac & cheese. Two notes: French fries are made with unpeeled potatoes(we like them, except for my 1 picky kid) and you can’t order your burger less cooked than medium rare.

Its not bad at all. I still prefer five guys burger taste but this place has a much better atmosphere and table service. Reminds me a lot of a Johnny Rockets. Burgers here can also get very sloppy when you put on a lot of toppings. Not a fan of the«choose your size» burger. But the selection of milk shakes makes up for that. Its definitely worth trying out if you have not been.

Finally! Tasty fries near my house for a decent value! They’re still not as good as Five Guys, but they’re in the same style — hand cut, skin on, about the same diameter, and the portion is healthy, if not overwhelming(like Five Guys). The burger was also great, as was the veggie burger. We ordered take out, and it was prompt. The shakes(we got one cherry, one key lime) weren’t that exciting. Next time, I’ll get the burgers and fries here and make my own milkshake at home. But, despite lackluster shake, I still have to give this place five stars for what it is, and the fries it offers.

If you need a quick meal but fast food isn’t your thing, this is your place! They use high quality ingredients and make everything to order. Plus, you can get something healthy if you can resist all the good stuff ;) I personally enjoy their salads a lot. Friendly staff, clean restrooms. Overall thumbs up :) As a burger joint, it gets 5 stars in my book!

Another great burger joint found! Cheeburger Cheeburger has a very retro, 50’s vibe to it. This may seem off-putting to those looking for a gourmet style burger, but have no fear, this place offers amazing food! The menu was a bit overwhelming, but they helped us figure out what was going on and ordering became quite simple. My fiancé and mother shared one of their gardenburger wraps(huge plus that they offer veggie burgers, by the way), and I got a «Serious» burger(½ lb) cooked medium with cheddar, sauteed onions and mushrooms, guacamole, and jalapenos on top. We also ordered a medium basket of fries along with zesty horseradish and creamy jalapeño dips. First off, I know they enjoyed their veggie burger wrap. My fiancé is very picky about getting veggie burgers, as only certain patties appeal to her, and she loved this one. The fries were also very good, we topped them with their signature seasoning, there was a ton in the basket, and they tasted excellent with the sauces. But the clincher, IMO, was my burger. I was amazed at how big, juicy, and perfectly cooked the patty was. Topped off with all my favorite choices, as well as some of the jalapeño dip to add some kick, and this is one of the best burgers I’ve had at any place! I can definitely say I’ll be visiting Cheeburger Cheeburger a lot more now that I know how good the food is here!
