So Frustrated!!! We live in the area, so when Bobby’s opened a couple of years ago. we looked forward to trying it out. I didn’t care for the place itself(mostly counter seating), so we have always ordered and taken the food home. I quickly became a big fan of the L.A. burger(cheddar, tomato, slightly spicy hot avocado), with sweet potato fries(great dipping sauces to go with them) or the cheese fries(real white cheddar, generously drizzled all over). My husband and I became regular Saturday night customers. He would usually get the«burger of the month»…Well, everything was great until about a year and a half ago when many times my husband would get the order home and find that often it was incorrect or missing something. He’d have to go back to have our order filled correctly(very annoying!) Then we started noticing that the burgers weren’t always cooked as we requested, or much smaller than usual, or they were skimpy with the dipping sauces or burger toppings. We finally gave Bobby’s up for about six months. Recently, recalling how great they were at the beginning(especially the quality and taste of the beef), we decided to give it another try. Well… so frustrating… sometimes we really enjoyed our order, but other times… we might as well have gone to Wendy’s, something I would rarely do. Tonight, we were totally shocked when instead of the usual real white cheddar on the fries… we had what looked like and definatley TASTED like CHEESEWHIZORVELVEETA… YUCK… we threw most of them away. I can’t imagine BOBBYFLAY ever approving of… CHEESEWHIZ or VELVEETA. VERYDISAPPOINTED and TOTALLYINCONSISTANT!!!

Family went for dinner. Burgers were smaller than we expected. 2 brunch burgers were very good. 2 palace burgers were good. 1 topless chicken which was meh. Fries were very good. Price was expensive for proportions. Gnat would not leave us alone. Not somewhere I’d consider going back to eat.

Another burger joint? Well, this place was worth obliterating my morning workout efforts for. Ordered med-rare, topless burger of the month(Napa burger) without the cheese. The juicy burger rested on a bed of water cress that had a tad too much balsamic vinegar dressing. But still delicious! My friend and I shared a side of «Undecided»…sweet potato fries and onion rings. YUM! Did not need to use any of the sauces offered counterside on the burger. I did taste the following sauces, Jalopena, BBQ, Chipotle ketchup… prefer the chipotle ketchup with the sweet potato fries. So to totally blow my diet, I also ordered the pistachio shake without whipped cream. It was thick, tasty, refreshing. It was a bit after the lunch crowd so seating was not a challenge, service was decent. Had a difficult time finding it and after cruising the parking lot, finally had to call to locate it. Will be back.

Tried this place on a whim and will not be going back. The restaurant was dirty, there were gnats everywhere, food sub par, workers were inattentive and eating while working.

As much as I enjoy sitting here while my friends are served without me, and watching people who came in after me get their food, and watching portions of my order just sit for ten minutes on a shelf… No, wait, I don’t enjoy that. I don’t enjoy watching the manager give attitude to his waitstaff. The food itself is right around 3 or 4 stars from what I gather. Pity I didn’t get a chance to find out for myself. When it comes to lack of service, one strike and you’re out in my book. I have enough other burger places to fulfill me.

I’ve been several times and the food has always been hit or miss. The first time I ordered, I got my burger medium rare, and it came out moo-ing. Since then, I’ve been getting it medium, and it’s never the same color. When you order it medium, they always ask if it is okay if it’s pink throughout. It’s never always pink throughout. Tonight it was a consistent grey; sometimes it’s what I call medium rare; and other times it’s actually what they call medium. And once you get past the color, the seasoning can sometimes be a little heavy handed and almost inedible. When they’re on, it’s really, really good. I’ve only ever had the New Mexico burger, and the cheese, spices, and the chilis are an incredible combination. But when they’re off, it’s just meh, and not worth the money, and often, not worth the wait.

Just had a Palace Classic and it was over seasoned with salt and pepper. It’s my own fault for coming back because the same exact thing happened last time. It took forever to get our order ready and the place was almost empty. I showed the cashier all of pepper on our burgers and he refunded mine but offered my 7 year old another burger or a milkshake. He’s lactose intolerant & I’d never let him have that much sugar. Needless to say I will not give Bobby’s Burger Palace another chance to disappoint. Unless Bobby Flay is making the burgers.

Bbp is one of the few burger places where the burger comes out the color that you order. Keep your bbp in the pink zone and it’ll be nice and juicy. Also, try putting the bbp sauce on everything… it’s pretty tasty.

Crunch Burger all the way! It is a bit pricey when you add fries and drink but the taste is great.

Was so excited to come here for my brother’s birthday because we’re fans of Bobby Flay but sorry to say we were highly disappointed. Honestly I would have been better off making a burger and fries at home because mine tastes way better such a let down. The sauces were gross, the burger had no flavor, and our fries were burnt. What a waste of money that will be our first and LAST time. Too bad no stars is not an option what a bummer. :(

All the burgers are pretty good here. Incredibly juicy. Leave the crunchified on the side, they fall put off the burger anyway. The fries are skin on. Not really crispy. The onion rings are good. It’s hard to find good onion rings nowadays. The shakes are worth it. But let’s talk about the turkey burger… i wasn’t expecting much, but it was very flavorful and NOTDRY. I’d order it again, regardless of calorie count OR not. After trying a bunch of different burgers, I’m finding that sticking with a classic palace burger is the best approach.

Long lines, limited seating, and yes. gnats flying around! Gross. I doubt this is what Bobby Flay intended as an experience as I’ve been to his other finer dining restaurants. We waited at least 25mins for food, the shake was served first and melted, and we had people complaining of missing items in their burger. The servers had no idea how to handle themselves at peak dining time and no manager to be found to take care of problems. Hmmm. Maybe we should’ve went to Smashburger and saved money and time! It will be a while before we return here again. Maybe Undercover Boss episode is due here!

A pleasant surprise! While walking the length of the Mercer Mall, we came upon BBP and decided to try it out. Ordered two burgers and split a half and half fry. The burgers were cooked exactly as we liked them and the sauces that came with the fries, regular and sweet potato, complimented them really well. Seating seemed to be a bit of an issue as its a bit strange to share your meal with complete strangers chewing in your ear, but for a quick bite it’s passable. Well done Bobby Flay!

Love the burgers. Love the shakes. Love the fries. That all being said, be prepared for grease. A lot of it. It’s ok… Just be ready. Maybe that’s where they deliciousness comes from.

Shake Shack or Bobby’s? You can’t go wrong with either if you are looking for a high calorie but a good meal. I like Bobby’s for: A selection of burger choices Custom doneness Sweet potato fries Shakes Great service I really like that once you order, you are given a number and you just find a spot to sit and wait. Everything is served to you. At SS, you have to order, stand around, carry your own food while looking for a table then you have to clean up afterwards. Here, you just sit, enjoy the food and leave. No need to hang out at the counter waiting for the food, clean up, etc. I like the U shaped table setting which makes things easy for the servers to bring the food to you. It reminds me of the Oyster Bar setting at Grand Central. The shakes are nice and thick and hard to resist. It adds $ 5 to your meal and between the burger, fries/onion rings, it gets a bit expensive. For the service you get, I am not sure if you should leave a tip. Overall, it’s a satisfying place but a bit expensive.

Bobby’s Burger Palace reminds me of the old fable, «The Emperor’s New Clothes.» Just like in the fairy tale, there was once an emperor who was getting on in years. He wanted to hold a celebration in his kingdom and ordered the royal clothier to design and custom tailor a new regal robe and trimmings for him to wear on this special day. The clothier didn’t have a clue about how to find the right cloth for this project, let alone how to produce it. So, he came up with a scheme with magical cloth that only the righteous and pure could see. He presented this wardrobe to the emperor with the secret explanation. No one wanted to admit that they were impure and could not see the vestments, and all pretended it was the most beautiful any man had ever worn. You know the rest. Only a young kid, truly pure and honest spoke the truth. The Emperor was naked. So it is with BBP. Hardly a palace, the space in MarketFair is a mild upgrade from all the other mid-range burger joints of the world — 5 Guys, Wayback, In N Out, Smashburger, etc. The only difference between them is cosmetic and price. It is nice to have pastel colors and curved counters, but the proof is in the pudding, or in this case, the beef. My Philadelphia Burger was quite a site, piled high with patty, cheese, peppers, onions, and crunchy potato chips. The wooden pick holding it all together was a necessity or it would never have reached my seat in a vertical position. Plainly, it was also way to big for my mouth and needed adjustment. That was easily accomplished by placing the spike between my fingers and pressing down on the top of the sandwich to compress it into a manageable dimension. The pick worked perfectly, keeping my vise grip aligned as it slid down and pushed everything together. The actual taste was the moment of truth. Although each component reported in as I bit through the layers like a drill cuts through geologic layers of earth, the weakest link was the burger itself. While the«medium» I had requested, it lacked much flavor. The variety of sauces in bottle rockets helped allay this tedium, but could not hide the plain fact that the beef was very plain. Too, the onions and peppers were cold within, and had not been on the grill for a long time. The final coupe de grace was that the roll was weak and fell apart long before the meal was completed. This emperor was as naked as a new born babe. Yet, at nearly $ 15 for the burger, fries(good) and a bottle of water, it is hard to justify a return visit.

We enjoyed the superb and innovative mildly spicy crunchified medium beef Carolina and crunchified chicken LA with sweet potato French fries, jalapeño hot sauce and chipotle ketchup in this clean, kid-friendly and modern décor with an efficient and friendly service. The kid’s meal seems to be the same size than an adult portion. The prices and size portions were fair for this affordable gourmet food with some healthy options. The thick and flavorful blueberry and pomegranate malted milkshake was extremely good with the right amount of sweetness. It was easy and free to park. The restaurant was located inside the Marketfair mall.

Ok Sooooo, the décor in this place is fabulous and then it stops there! The food is horrible! I made it home only to find a bag full($ 50 worth) of inedible burgers, fries and onion rings. Just a greasy mess!!! We attempted to eat it but all three of us agreed it would be like asking for a heart attack to finish with all that grease! And one of my friends joked, «If it was good I might have took a chance on the heart attack!» Sadly it wasn’t. The milk shakes…2 out of 3 were bad! $ 5.00 a pop by the way and they were small and bad! Very thin like smoothies and not a thick milkshake as advertised. The mint chocolate chip was ok but the mocha and strawberry failed. We originally ordered a coconut shake, however, after picking up our greasy food we were told the company no longer carries coconut. Why is coconut on the menu? All in all it was one of my most horrible food experiences to date. I expected much more from this place and I hope it gets better because to get $ 50 worth of inedible food is unacceptable. Save yourself the trouble, visit Qdoba next door, I know we will!

OK — so for the foodies out there, that avoid chains(there’s a handful in the east coast)…this is NOT one to cross off your list. Of course Chef Bobby Flay does the burger right! I ordered the Brunch Burger which was amazeballs. — Angus Beef + Bacon + Cheese(sub Provolone) +(drum roll please) a Fried Egg!!! It was juicey, flavorful, and moist. I was also totally enamored by the selection of sauces at the table — my favorite was the Jalapeño Sauce which was more sweet and tangy than typical spicy/hot. This sauce was my burgers best friend at the time — and I will definitely by a bottle on my next visit(and yes I will come back).
