Arrived at 8:30pm. My family ordered the big nasty, and 3 spuds. They brought it to the table on glass played with plastic silverware. I asked for metal utensils to cut through the big nasty since the cheap plastic ones were bending and not cutting the bread. I was told they had already washed the dishes. I told him that was ridiculous, and our server told me to «write a bad review then». So the food was good, but it was nearly impossible to eat and the service was terrible.

I have always enjoyed McAlister’s and their many options. This visit did not disappoint. I had the Orange Cranberry Club sandwich, which consisted of turkey, ham, bacon, cheddar and swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and cranberry sauce and may on white bread. It was quite large, but I somehow managed to eat it all! It was delicious. I think it may be a special sandwich, but I hope it sticks around. I am always tempted to get a potatoe spud when I go there. The staff was very attentive and our food came out quickly. The store is well maintained and clean. My only complaint with this location is the way everyone lines up to order. People come into the store from 2 different doors and people walk right in and skip over some people already standing in line. There has to be a better system.

Worst service. Incompetent and rude staff. Not just on one occassion but 2 consecutive visits! If you don’t want to work then stay at home or find another job children? or underdeveloped adult? Other McAlister locations are better food wise. Another example why employers should be more selective during the hiring process. May be that’s the service work force today? Very unfortunate. . Sad to see a nice establishment polluted by its employees. Yes, I am specifically referring to the individuals that take the customer orders.

For a fast and good place to eat that isn’t just a burger joint, this is the place. I haven’t sat in the place and have always ordered out, but each time the food was delish! My husband really likes sandwiches and soups! I love their home baked cookies! I like the place! Good customer service each time!!!

Food was nasty — no a typical McAlister’s experience. Ordered Roast Beef and Cheddar — requested to swap for Swiss(cheese for cheese) and was charged $.50. Sandwich was sort of warm but the grilled onions were ice cold — painfully cold, like directly out of the freezer. Autumn Squash Soup(which I typically love) was way too sweet. Service was bad, it was Sunday at 2 pm. Hardly anyone there but dirty tables all over and plenty of people complaining around us about their meals too. I love McAlister’s but will not visit this one again.

Great sandwich shop with good sides. In other words, as a deli, McAllister’s does a good job. Just don’t come at noon, the line is horrendous.

Sitting here waiting for my to go order. I called it in like 20 minutes ago. Was told i still had to wait in line when i got here. I wouldnt suggest this place. You can make it faster at home. 50 minutes for 2go is ridicilous. Not comin back. Offer me a free drink or something. Dang

Nothing special. I got a Reuben and the thousand island dressing was the only ingredient that had any flavor. I didn’t care for the cole slaw either. The salads looked good. If I go again I would get a salad.

I was trying to give them a great review. The cashier was great getting me good pricing on my special food requirements but they didn’t have broccoli. They didn’t tell me this until after. The service was good but they miss food items every time I’ve visited.

Very slow. There was a huge line and only one person taking orders, but the food was good!

Panera Bread is head and shoulders above McAlister’s. These people try but everything is lacking. They brag about their sweet tea but most everywhere has better tea. Same with their lemonade. Can’t really say they are bad. Just so so.

«If your reviews are looking like essays, start a blog. I can’t read your life story on my phone before ordering from the menu.» [Time & Date of visit]: Multiple weekday nights for dinner [Party Size]: 2 – 3 [Location/Ambiance]: I’m not sure what it’s like around lunch time rush, but when it’s dinner time; it’s fairly quiet. Almost, «I can read a book in peace» kind of quiet. There’s plenty of booths and tables to choose from. [Service]: This is a «fast casual» kind of setup. Order at the counter, and they bring the food to you. [Food Highlights]: I’ve mainly stuck to half a sandwich and half a spud combination. Sometimes the sandwiches can be slightly on the dry side if not for a slab of honey mustard. So opt for the pasta if you’re not worried about carbs and want something else that’s filling. Chicken cavatappi — the chicken was slightly overcooked and dry, but the rest of the pasta dish was fairly good w/the sauce that accompanies the noodles. Definitely filling. [Total Bill w/Tip & Tax]: Usually under $ 10. {Summary}: All I can say is this would be the Irish version of Panera. There’s half and half options though not as wide as a selection. But for cheap eats or for those who are picky, this isn’t a bad spot to pick if you’re on the east side of the GA400 exit for Holcomb Bridge Rd.

This location has pretty good service. Haven’t gotten an order wrong yet considering I call in my order often. PCOM students also get a discount here!

I’ve been here a few times over the years… and just realized i’ve never been happy when leaving. The food is always«meh» here… there are better sandwich joints around… you might as well go to publix for a sandwich, which is just a few steps away.

Nice selection, good soups, excellent potatoes. I would eat here more if they were less expensive. 3 out of 5 coworkers agree. I had the chicken and dumplings today, they were AWESOME. My mama is a real good southern cook and she makes amazing dumplings. These are close. I also got the blackened chicken sandwich, it was good. Nice meal on a cold day.

I swing in through McAlister’s from time to time to get some sandwiches to go whenever I am in the area. McAlister’s have wonderful sweet tea, but the sandwiches are not very fresh nor edible!!! Yesterday’s visit, I came in right at opening time and specifically asked for no panini pressed hot sandwiches — just regular cold sandwiches and what do I find when I opened the boxes… hot pressed sandwiches!!! Not that I have anything against paninis, I just wanted a regular sandwich!!! Not flat ones!!! Plus there are barely any meat and condiments in the buns!!! My biggest complaint is this store always has an excuse as to why the orders are never as customers requested. Previous visit, when I finally had enough and did complain, the reason is corporate business orders are always filled in ahead of time. So by making these ahead, the store is already making money. So when items are listed on the chalkboard menu«run out», you don’t get that item as it has already been pre-package to go for the businesses. Now I know these sandwiches of late are pre-made ahead of time and not as fresh in the back because walk-ins are not giving the store enough incentive to make money. This may explain why there are never any patrons eating inside the sandwich shop. I plan to no longer visit this location in the future as they have lost a customer as I cannot afford to spend money when I am barely getting anything fresh in return for the price. The food is not bad just not filling… barely any meat or condiments to justify the prices.

The food is not great but not awful. The items lack flavor. The mac & cheese was a slight step above a fast food version. The sandwiches were like regular subs. I did not see or taste gourmet anything. The staff is very nice. The restaurant is clean.

Maybe I just went on a bad day. I waited for about 10 minutes before the girl behind the counter even acknowledged me. She was too busy talking to her friends who were placing orders. Several other staff members(including who I thought was a manager), walked by without even asking if I needed help. After I placed the order and my credit card was charged, I was told they were out of corned beef and could not make my sandwich. I got refunded and left.

McAlister’s Sweet Tea and sandwiches are what keep me coming back. I have never been a fan of Sweet Tea, until I tried McAlister’s Sweet Tea. Regardless what time of the year it is, the Sweet Tea cannot be beat! If you don’t care for Chili, because of the beans, then you are in for a real treat. McAlister’s chili, especially in a bread bowl, is a meal itself. It’s hearty, a little bit of spice and fills you up. The Chicken Noodle soup is also very good. Especially if you have a cold, or want something warm on a cold day. My favorite sandwiches are The Rueben, French Dip, Turkey Melt and many others. There mashed potatoes and gravy are also tasty, as is the potato salad. If you haven’t yet been to McAlister’s Deli, you must give it a try.
