I dined in on a Friday afternoon, and ordered chili cheese fries and the Southwestern chicken salad with a sweet tea to drink. My husband ordered buffalo shrimp and lemon pepper wings. The portions were good, the sweet tea was good, service was REALLY slow, and worst of all, the chili on my fries was spoiled! It smelled like old sweaty gym shoes. I was mortified! When I asked the mgr when the chili was made he didn’t even give me an answer, he just apologized and offered to take it off the bill. According to the menu, the salad that I ordered came with chicken, black beans, tortilla strips and«cowboy» dressing. The salad that I received had lettuce, shredded carrots, corn, chicken and ranch dressing with a dollop of bbq sauce. I was SO disappointed. When I complained to the server she simply took the salad to the kitchen and added black beans, she then came from the kitchen and she and the mgr proceeded to have a discussion over my salad. Needless to say, I didn’t eat the salad. As a matter of fact, I ended up skipping lunch. This was an overall terrible experience for me and I vow to NEVER return to this place. Btw: The sauce for the buffalo shrimp was a tad bit on the salty side.

My friends and I go to Three Dollar for Lunch just about every Friday. They are great. Their fried Grouper sandwich is really good and you get a huge piece of fish and the fish tacos are good also. I normally get the Pecan Blue salad half it is very filling. The prices are really reasonable. I have been there for dinner also. It is really a fun, nice place to eat. You can also play Keno!

We wanted a quick bite so we tried this place. The atmosphere was tired and the music was horrible and to loud. The menu is basic and the offerings were boring your typical bar food. I thought this was a café not a bar. I think this place needs a gut job and a menu overhaul. I must say the wings were good and crispy like I like them.

Three Dollar Café is my wife and my «go to» place to eat. Meaning if we don’t want to cook and just go grab something and be home within an hour, this is the place to go to. Reasonable prices for what they have which is mainly sandwich selections, but they do have wing and entrees as well. We normally order sandwiches such as the Cuban, Reuben or Philly Steak all which have generous portions of meat on them. The waitresses even try to accommodate us when we try to change up our orders. Only down side is their theme nights such as karaōke or trivia night. Those nights tend to be a lot more crowded and louder but the kitchen does get the food out in good time.

Very expensive for what it is! The only reason we ever come is because of trivia, but I would recommend to go elsewhere even for trivia because this place doesn’t have good specials and it’s expensive. We won’t be back. We don’t know why it’s called $ 3 café when nothing here is three dollars!

Met up with the league here last Saturday. I got the cilantro lime shrimp salad. It is a huge salad! I had no idea the salad would be this large. It was very filling. The porch area was open and about 40 of us kick ball chicks sat there and chilled. I didn’t care too much for the dressing. Next time I’ll ask Italian…

Two kids and I came for lunch at 1 on Columbus Day. Virtually no one here, and though the food took awhile, he portions were huge. My kids got a burger(full size) and a grilled cheese(not awesome, but the seven year old liked it) and I had the Cuban, which came with two fried banana slices. Everything was tasty, and we had great service.

The food is really good for every day eats. It is excellent to get a good inexpensive meal and a drink special or beer… For the price you can’t beat it and it is worth the money! I made this place my local watering whole, because I eat there about three times a week. I come here with my girlfriends on the weekend and after the gym with my workout peeps. It is open past midnight on the weekend so I can hit on the way back home after an event or night club outing. Never had a bad meal here my faves are the lemon pepper wings, fried grouper fish sandwich, the TK Burger and the shrimp and grits. I have never had a bad meal here!

Ehh… it’s ok. I was craving a turkey burger and sweet potato fries so after doing a menu check online, I headed right over. Sweet potato fries they definitely had. Turkey burger? Not so much. I ended up getting their grilled chicken sandwich, which was huge, to their credit. Fries do come with sandwiches, but sweet potato fries are up charged a bit. Altogether, my bill came to about $ 12 The grilled chicken was topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle on the side, and I got mustard/mayo packs on the side. The chicken sandwich itself was pretty juicy, but didn’t really have much seasoning, although the mustard helped it a bit. The sweet potato fries were a little limp, but solid, not very crispy at all and unseasoned. I prefer my sweet potato fries unseasoned, so good on them for not adding seasoning, but I wished they had a little more crunch to them. . I got my order to go, and arrived around 1pm on a weekday. Service was slow,(I sat at the bar more than 5 minutes before someone came over) but they were nice when they did get to me, and food was cooked to order, and in my hands in about 10 minutes Three Dollar Café is located in a small restaurant strip off sugarloaf, right next to a Dunkin Donuts. Parking, while plentiful, is definitely hard to find during lunch hours or late night eating. The size of their food definitely fills you up, although their flavors need a little tweaking to my tastes. Still, it’s affordable and not a bad option for lunch.

First time here and this place is cool for a Friday night. They have karaōke and the DJ is the bomb! Large variety of music from the old to the new. The DJ kept the crowd engaged and ppl on the dance floor. This was definitely worth the drive. There’s nothing like being around a good group of ppl who all have the same agenda; a good time. Not rating this a five star because the food was average.

I had previously heard good things about this place and wanted to try it. I went there at lunch one day with a friend of mine. It was not very crowded, so we went right in. We were greeted promptly and seated. The menu is very American with a wide array of appetizers, sandwiches, salads and wings. I had the US Salad with chicken and it was excellent. I ordered the half size and that was plenty. My friend had the same thing and he enjoyed his, as well. The price was fine, too. This is a great casual place to go with friends and family. w this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees.

Went here Saturday night around 10pm. We had just finished an all day flag football tournament and were exhausted, dehydrated and hungry. There weren’t many people there, few ppl at the bar and two couples in booths. We were a group of 8. Food was surprisingly good. The mushroom Swiss burger was flavorful and cooked well. Didn’t even need to add any lettuce/tomato/etc. Other people got the nachos(definitely for sharing!) and the chilli cheese fries(yum!). There was a DJ who was playing music, which started off as background music and then pumped up loud like a club. Honestly, it was annoying at first, but he was actually pretty good and we were all singing along before we knew it!

This place is only so-so to slightly better than so-so They have a small but adequate selection of draft beer. The food is pretty good and the service is nice. However, I stopped going after they starting charging $ 0.50 for a glass of water.

The food is okay– maybe 3.5 stars. Service was fine. I think we sat next to the door they go outide to smoke from. Smelled nasty. Biggest objection was when I asked for some ranch dressing for my sweet potato fries and was told that would be $ 0.95 extra. Aee you kidding me? We spent a little under $ 40 for 2 and you’re going to charge extra for a condiment? No thanks. Much better places to eat in the area that know how to treat their customers. Won’t be going back.

So far… the host did not say a word. Sat for ten minutes before a server even came by the table. Ordered fries and wing sauce, came out immediately but the fries were lukewarm. My wife likes the wing sauce. Service is not impeccable by any means…

My favorite place to watch NFL in Gwinnett. New expanded location is beautiful. Food is better than bar food. In fact the buffalo shrimp we got today may be the best we have had … EVER!!! The wait staff very attentive, very cute, and great sports fans!!! This is what I wish an unnamed bar was in Lawrenceville… Oh well. Their loss.

We go here a couple of times a month. The blackened grouper is very good. Hamburgers, buffalo chicken sandwich and wings are good. The pasta salad side is super. The service is OK to good. Nice casual setting with plenty of TVs.
