Leander Liquors

Leander Liquor Beer & Wine is a well established store off of Hwy 183 in Leander in the small shopping center in between Osage and the used car lot about .25 mile (not even that far really) north of Osage. I have been visiting this place for years and it is always a pleasure visiting the owner, Peter.
Leander Liquor is not as large as Specks or Twin Liquors but it still has a great variety and everything you need. What sets this place above the rest is the owner. He is not just some employee miserably working a few hours to earn a paycheck. Peter owns and runs this place and is very friendly and pleasant to talk to. I’ve met some of his relatives that fill in time to time and every single last one of them are very friendly and pleasant to talk to as well. This is a family business that deserves the support of the community. Not to mention, why waste your time driving further than you have to (unless you enjoy wasting $ 3.50+/gallon gas) to just go to a big name place with staff that isn’t as friendly?!
I was very surprised when I did not find this business on Unilocal and then when I looked it up on Google Maps it stated that it is permanently closed. I assure you, this great little shop in Leander is alive and well and the only place I will visit due to the great customer service.
