Marco’s Pizza

The service, the delivery is horrific. Even after a previous similar incident with this location, I went against better judgement and ordered due to convenience. Placed an order this morning with Marco’s pizza as it is incredibly close to my home (a few hundred yards). Waited 1hr and 15 min for the pizza to arrive. The delivery driver only showed AFTER I called the manager who had very little to say in regard to the delay and blamed his delivery driver for going outside of company policy (as he stated) and delivering the furthest order first. We then sat in awkward silence on the phone for 4 minutes while I assumed he was taking steps to correct it. He offered a credit on my next order and I assured him there would not be one. When the driver finally arrived he gave me anther customer’s order. I fortunately caught him in his car, in the street, to explain this was not even my food. Called the manager again and the information was received with an «ah sh*t». The correct food was finally delivered lukewarm, at a discount ($ 36 order reduced to $ 17). Never Never Never order from this company/​location. FYI the online ordering system requires you to tip the driver prior to the order being placed. WTH!

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Every time I come here to pick up my order, they have to re make it because they messed it up. I will not be returning to this location. Bad experiences

I am not very happy with this place. It seems like every single time I come here to pick up or order delivery there is always a wait and I am told that whatever it is I ordered (usually subs, but pizza too) was messed up and it needs to be remade. It’s very annoying. If you are trying to get good pizza quickly, you’re probably better off cooking a Totino’s pizza in your oven at home. Don’t waste your time here.

I always forget how good there pizza is! I have married into an Italian family, so ley me start by saying, they are picky with their pizza! But when I have them over Marcos is a safe bet! They all love it! Which makes them happy! Which makes me happy! Way to go Marcos Pizza!

Pizza took over an hour to get delivered, then it was smooshed and looked disgusting (from a military vet that’s pretty bad) called Manager he told me I was a liar and refused to give me a refund. I went to the store and waited for 15 minutes before any employee acknowledged customer presence, manager still tried to refuse to refund me, eventually received my refund and will not order Marcos again.

The 1990s called — they want their web design back. Terrible online ordering system — the site won’t even recognize a local address that they’ve delivered to in the past, and the restaurant itself insists on using the same terrible system to locate addresses.
It’s sad too, because before this change I’ve ordered several times from Marcos and have been pleased.

This is the best pizza in the Leander area that I’ve had. They are a little on the pricey side but well worth it! They use fresh products and the desserts are good too!!! It’s a plus they deliver!!!

This was my first time to try the place. My order took over an hour. I ordered online but chose to pick it up instead of delivery. I waited and waited inside with other hungry customers and when I finally got my order and drove one mile home it was warm not hot. So we microwaved the food. It was OK but not hour-​wait worthy.

Ok– so our favorite pizza place closed up and we have had a tradition of Friday night pizza from way back when I had just finished nursing school and took an-​afternoon shift (no twelves back then thank goodness!), so hubby and the kids x2 would pick up pizza for supper.(this was back in the dark ages).
We had been to Marco’s pizza a couple times randomly nearer to the time it opened and thought it was ok, but not the step up crust wise and sauce wise that we favor.
Well, the Unilocal rating indicated we should give it another shot since we wanted a pizza. We ordered a medium, thin crust, extra well done and we chose the Meat Supreme with an extra sprinkle of cheese (it comes that way without addl charge!). It was loaded with Cheese, Classic Pepperoni, Ham, Italian Sausage, Bacon, and Sprinkling of Extra Cheese. It was cooked to perfection– extra well and the thin and crispy crust had great crunch texture. Both my better half and I were impressed with the sauce, thick, rich, just an edge of spice, really savory and good.
Overall a great experience and we will return. Also it was hopping as one would expect on a busy Friday at dinner time but they were moving through orders for pick up in a timely manner! Kudos Marco’s!

Creditcard users BEWARE– my card was used there without my authorization, I called my bank and I was told my credit card was keyed in and not swiped — VERY SHADY. I called the owner and he said they always ask for ID but kids do walk in with their parents credit cards all the time to buy pizza– now that is shady! So anyone can walk in with a credit card and buy pizza? DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD here. By the way the owner was very defensive about this situation and did not even offer to follow up or come up with a solution.

Marco’s is always my first choice for pizza. They ALWAYS have coupons/​promo codes you can use and their pizza is good stuff! The staff at this location is very friendly!

Some of the best pizza in town! I love all the coupons you can get for this place, which makes it more affordable. Try the wings and cheesy bread too!

These guys not only have great pizza, but great management and customer service!

Plus side: eating in their restaurant is fun and their pizza is delicious.
Neg side: I ordered pizza and it arrived over an hour later after my kid was in bed because they took too long. The pizza was cold and soggy. They offered to give me coupons but at that point I didn’t want to give them another chance to deliver us cold soggy pizza so late after ordering it.
Plus side: I did give them a second chance and as long as you eat in their building your pizza will be hot fresh and super yummy.

Ordered delivery to Block House. The meat supremo specialty pie was awesome with pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage and nice thick chunks of BACON! Also got a standard pepperoni pie that was pretty great. Sauce was right on not too sweet or intense… and crust is perfect… crisp golden bottom… moist chewy top. Arrived fast and HOT. Good job Marco’s. We’ll be back.

I had never been to Marco’s pizza and I came here to pick up a quick pizza to-​go to bring to my boyfriend while he was volunteering.
I was surprised by how pricey this place was — I was expecting that I could get pieces by the slice on the cheap but they make each pizza made to order, ensuring that it’s fresh and forcing you to buy a whole pie (a plus for my inner foodie, but not for my impatient side). I tried their deluxe specialty pizza and ordered a lunch special since that was cheaper than buying just the pizza itself.
It took about 15 minutes for it to be prepared and they offered to add parmesan to the crust along with garlic butter. They brought the pie out to me from behind the counter and were very polite (much more customer service than I had expected). The pizza itself was pretty tasty — a small filled the two of us up just fine since it was packed with ingredients. My only complaints are that it was pretty greasy, more expensive than I would like, and I had to wait longer than I thought I would. The service was surprisingly good, though!
Now that I know what I can expect, I will be sure to go here if I am not in a rush or if I can call ahead of time to get my order in and decrease my wait time.

The pizza is actually pretty good, but I was very disappointed at what happened when I had an order delivered. I ordered their family feast with a coupon. Part of the deal was chicken dippers and I ordered buffalo sauce. When it arrived, the container of buffalo sauce had opened and spilled all over the sack. It was soggy when he handed it over. What a huge mess, and now no dipping sauce. I can’t believe this was considered acceptable. I’d order from them again if it hadn’t been for this. If they’d offered to replace the sauce, I would have been satisfied

Not the best pizza joint in the area IMO, but better than many of the more well known box chains.
The subs are good and beat the sub shop next door. The old world pepperoni is a nice change to the normal pepperoni you find every where else. The cheese bread is too much bread & not enough cheese for my taste, but still has a good flavor.
Delivery has always been on time. The website is a bit primitive and isn’t always updated with the latest specials/​menu items.
Overall worth repeat business.

My husband and I realized today that it had been far too long since we had pizza and wanted to try a new chain near the house. I’m so glad it was Marco’s! We ordered online and had it delivered. We used one of their coupon specials for cheezybread, two medium one toppings, and a 2 liter for $ 19.99. The total after tax, delivery, and tip was closer to $ 30 so I will probably do carry out next time. Still a great deal though!
The cheezybread was fantastic! It came with a choice of two dipping sauces so we did marinara and garlic butter. The garlic is a must! So delicious. The pizza itself was great. The dough is nice and fluffy and for no extra charge they will do a flavored crust for you. We did garlic butter on one and Parmesan on the other and loved them both. We also always get light sauce so the cheese can go a longer way. We dont order pizza often but I’m glad to know Marcos is nearby when we want it.
