love this place, good for party or family pizza. location: little far from my place but worth the drive price: around ~$ 20 for whole pie sauce: sooooooooooooo good. bottom line if you got time to pick it up I would get pizza from here. prefect for football party.

Found this place thanks to trusty Unilocal and it’s just around the corner. Started with antipasto salad — greens were fresh, it was a simple salad but very yummy. I can’t remember our pizza name now but it was a white pizza with spinach, garlic, red peppers and Italian sausage and it was delicious. The best part was the sausage as I often don’t like it on pizza — it usually has a weird taste to me, but the sausage they use is great. Crust was thin, crispy and squishy and not greasy at all… Solid New York style as far as I’m concerned. We were the only ones there having an early dinner at 530, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Will be back for sure — I want to try the sauce because that’s the true indicator of a good pizza, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to stray from that delicious ass white pizza.

I am torn between a 2 or 3 star. We have driven by this place a ton, after reading about it in the Impact and seeing it is owned by a Saccone which I can only imagine is a cousin of Dan who owns Saccones, which this place once was and which most of the reviews are for.(very distant cousin apparently). So, on to the review. First impression. OMG bad. The interior is blah at best. The owner(wife) barely made a peep«hi» when we walked in. One pizza in the oven, no one in the place. I ordered a pizza with fresh tomatoes, «we have sundries» was the reply. Not«I’m sorry we are out of fresh, would you like sun dried?» Which is really an odd question as the two are not close to the same and how do you run out of tomatoes? Roma tomatoes are 0.69/lbs, get a few, not to mention you just told me you don’t a) make scratch sauce(okay, most don’t) b) you don’t have fresh ingredients. I ordered a calzone to go with it and a root beer and juice box. «We don’t have any juice.» What family establishment doesn’t have juice for kids, my 3 year old had a choice of water water or water and get it off the menu. 15 – 20 wait, fair enough you are baking it for me. Food comes out. Pizza looks greasy like a can of oil is on it. It is an olive and peperoni, which can be a little greasy but this was bad. Pizza is floppy, so floppy you’d think it was old sopping wet from sitting around and reheated, I have no clue how this is or why, but bad. Calzone was blah. They over filled it with ricotta, barely any spinach and maybe 6 pieces of pepperoni, which looked more like salami for some reason. The young lady was attentive and asked us a few times if we needed anything. The owners were non existent, which I find odd, you own the place, socialize. Final thoughts, a) get Marcos Old World Pepperoni on thin crust for a better NY style(so sad saying that). b) this is nothing like the old saccones c) Southerns up the road might have odd crust but such a warmer feeling d) will try Nikki’s next e) not ever returning unless I see«under new management».

WOW! What a HUGE disappointment. I have looked forward to eating their pizza for a year or two, since just after the re-opening. I ordered a «Traditional Philadelphia» Philly and a pie with Pepperoni and Italian Sausage for the Cowboys game tonight and couldn’t even wait for kick-off to write this review. That is how bad this place is. The«Traditional Philadelphia» philly, prepared with steak, onion and cheez whiz was inedible. The meat had freezer burn. I think it was beef. The color of the meat on my sandwich is nothing like any other meat I have ever eaten. I didn’t notice the freezer burn, a friend did. I asked him to taste it and he immediately spit it out. I was a bit surprised as I felt no need to spit out the bite I took. After he cleared his throat he advised me of the freezer burn. He is a chef(trained at the CIA, shhhh), and has cooked in some great kitchens around the country. If there was any cheez whiz it had to have been 5 parts water to 1 part whiz, what I saw on my sandwich looked like a butter sauce. Last but not least, the onions were RAW! It appeared they may have tried to cook them a bit but the last thing I want to bite down on in a philly is a crisp raw onion. I did like the bread. Now the pizza. I must say in comparison to the sandwich the pizza wasn’t so bad but not good enough to ever order again. This is definitely not a «Neopolitan Style» pizza, it is closer to a traditional New York pizza but it ain’t that either. The sauce is overly sweet. I don’t know if they are using a canned sauce but if they are I am sure it has a goodly amount of corn syrup in it. If it’s made fresh, please cut back on the sugar. The pepperoni tastes just like the stuff hormel puts in the bags at the end of the grocery store aisles. The sausage is fine although a little heavy on the fennel lending to the extra sweetness in the whole pie. All in all, nice people, bad food. Sorry I couldn’t like this place, I really try to consume at as many local family owned eateries as I can. I just cannot recommend this place to anyone.

We were looking for pizza and saw the ratings here on Unilocal so we thought this would be a great place to try. The place is small and quiet and very clean. For an introvert walking in and having everyone look at you including the staff was a little uncomfortable but something I can usually get past pretty quickly. We found our seat and I went up to order. We decided to order the amore pizza, lots of cheese, and add some other toppings. The cashier seemed stressed and bothered while trying to figure out how to charge us. They only have canned drinks and no tea. Even the water was just straight tap water. We became more uncomfortable the longer it took for the cashier to try to figure out how to charge us and eventually just decided to go somewhere else. This may have just been a one time bad experience for me but I don’t think I will ever go back again. It was just too much.

In a quest for something other than delivered pizza, I found Rialto. Something close to Cedar Park, and fresh pizza were the criteria to fill in this particular quest, so we made our first visit. Small, intimate location. Nothing fancy, but good tasty pizza at a reasonable price. Fresh ingredients, and plenty of them. Good crust — not too thick, not too thin — enough to hold the toppings. We’ll definitely go back — my wife and daughter were in agreement that this was good stuff. Things to be aware of — they’re open 7 days a week — but only after 4pm. Not a big deal, unless you’re craving pizza for lunch on the weekend perhaps. Drinks are strictly canned — no fountain drinks, and no tea(at least when we visited). A bit odd, but hey — we came for the pizza primarily, so a minor annoyance. I’m no New York pizza connoisseur, but I’ve eaten enough(in New York and elsewhere) to be happy what with Rialto’s is serving.

Um, NO. This pizza does not resemble authentic NY Pizza in any way shape or form. Oh, wait! It IS round. I will never accept another recommendation from anyone in this state claiming to know their pizza, or that they know where to find the«perfect NY Pizza in Texas.» Allow me to let you in on a little secret, peeps. ITDOESN’T EXISTHERE, «Y’ALL!(However, the closest I’ve had is in San Antonio. See my other review.) I’m sure lots of people will be happy with this pizza, there wasn’t anything really repulsive about it, it was JUSTNOTANYTHING like what I know and love. For starters: The sauce is too sweet. The cheese is 1-too chewy and there’s too much of it and 2– its salty. BUT not nearly as salty as the pepperoni. Luckily, that was only on half. My husband’s half;) If you don’t really care how your pizza tastes, and you accept pizza in all styles then I’m sure you have a good chance at happiness with this place. But I AMTRULY the reigning pizza snob if I can tell you honestly and without a doubt, this is not my kind of pizza. NYC, I miss you even more than I did an hour ago. For anyone who just doesn’t get what makes NY Pizza better than all the rest: And then make plans to visit NYC before you die to experience the best pizza possible.

I’d like to update my review, as it was originally for the pizza restaurant Saccone’s. I have no idea if Rialto’s is owned by the same people or not. I do not live in the area anymore so I have not tried the place. The 5-star review I gave is for Saccone’s which now only has one location, 620 at Anderson Mill, and I still go there often.

Clean little place(28 people would take every seat). Antipasto salad was great. Full of olives, onions, diced cheese, pepperoni and everything it should have. Dressing was on the side which was good since it was a bit heavy on the vinegar. We also split a gourmet calzone(choose 3 toppings) with artichoke, sun dried tomatoes, and spinach. It was excellent with plenty feta and mozzarella. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. Soft Italian music playing in the background(Lady and the Tramp soundrack? HA!) Hard to ask for more!

WOW! If you have not yet discovered this little hidden gem, then you owe it to yourself to give it a try. We ordered a takeout pizza from here a few weeks ago and were very pleased with the experience. We ordered the Amore Combo with sausage, pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, peppers, and onions. Everything from the crust to the sauce, cheese and toppings was on point. The rotary oven they use to bake the pizza has a stone surface that gives the crust an awesome flavor. The price is slightly higher than your typical pizza joint, but understand that this is in no way typical pizza. It is several notches above typical and rather large at 18″. A couple of days ago we stopped by for lunch. Unfortunately, we were the only diners in the restaurant. I don’t know if it is the somewhat obscure location, or that the word just has not spread yet, but I can’t imagine why the place is not packed for lunch. Anyway, we decided to try a couple of sandwiches rather than pizza this time, and were once again very pleased. I ordered the Meatball Parmigianino(which comes with cheese) and my wife ordered the New York Cheese Steak. Both sandwiches were full of flavor and simply enormous. I think my meatball sandwich would have weighed in at close to 3 lbs. I’m not quite sure how, but I managed to finish the entire thing. The meatballs were sliced, rather than whole and were melded perfectly with layers of cheese and sauce… perfection in a bun. The sandwiches also get a ride in the rotary pizza oven just before serving to get everything all nice and melty. My wife, a self-professed Cheese Steak aficionado declared her sandwich one of the best she had ever had. I had a few bites and would have to agree, although I would have had to add mushrooms to mine. They also have pizza rolls, calzones, and stromboli… all of which I intend to try eventually. I saw a sign about new hours effective November 1, so check their website before you go, but do go. This is simply the best pizza in Leander /Cedar Park.

First let’s get clear on the service. You order at the register then they bring the food, drinks and whatever else you need. They were nice enough. It’s a very casual place and the booths are rather small. When I rate a place I consider service to be nearly as important as the food depending on the prices. The pizza is authentic NY style — big and floppy. The sauce tasted fresh and homemade. It’s a light red color instead of a deep rich red and it’s a thinner sauce. The mozarella was ample and was that good chewy kind. You know you’ve got good cheese when it’s really stringy and chewy. The salad had roasted red peppers, black olives, feta cheese, jalapenos, yellow peppers and a homemade vinagrette that was only fair. I like salty, vinegary dressings. The Italian lemon soda was very refreshing — a nice change from the usual drink offerings.

When a craving for Pizza hits, you must satisfy it. I decide to give Pizzeria Rialto a try. I was a huge fan of Saccone’s so with the new owners of the same name I had to try. I ordered my usual pizza with meatballs. So as a basis for comparison, that is what I ordered. I was asked if I wanted pieces of meatballs or slices, I opted for slices. The woman and the man behind the counter were very helpful and friendly. I was told it would take 15 minutes and exactly 15 minutes, I had my pizza. A short drive home, and my pizza was still steaming hot. Maybe not such a good thing as my cheese slid to the side. I take a bit of my first slice. Okay, not bad but the sauce was sweet. Sweet sauce is more of a midwest trait instead of New York style. The crust was missing the crunch in the bit, it was more chewy. Finally the meatball, Saccone’s was very garlicky just as I like it. These meatballs were nothing special. I ate two slices but had no desire to eat any more. In a pinch, this pizza is okay but it didn’t blow me away.

Being a nice, wholesome pervert from the East Coast, I’d given up on getting either a decent pizza or good Jewish Deli in Texas. Well, I’ve got the Pizza now! We’d clipped a coupon for Pizzeria Rialto and it had gathered a bit of dust before we realized it was about to expire. I wasn’t in the mood to cook so we figured, what the heck… couldn’t be worse than Luigi’s or Southern and having spent a lot of time in Venice, the last thing I associated with it was good food — seriously, you don’t go to Venice for the cuisine… We went in and the smells were just wonderful. The pizza was fantastic! A nice sweet crust with a beautifully balanced tomato sauce that didn’t give me heartburn after wards — which is always a good sign. Top quality ingredients with a HUGE pizza pie made by some really nice folks who know what they’re doing. The only complaint I had was there wasn’t a shaker of oregano which I love to add to my pizza but the owners wife was incredibly gracious and brought out a little ramekin of it for us. Once the pizza oven has developed some flavor from various burned drippings, it’ll be just perfect. We still have a couple of slices in the fridge that have held up beautifully. Highly recommended!

Our first time there. We got a simple pizza — cheese and canadian bacon. The seasoning in the sauce was a total surprise and delicious, thin crust and 18″. I cannot wait to to try their calzone next. Pricing is more than reasonable, clean comfortable and very friendly atmosphere. No delivery available, but easy location.

It doesn’t get any better than this! As soon as you walk in the door you can smell the garlic and oregano. Pizza crust has an amazing flavor and is not to thin but not real thick either. Sauce has a good blend of spices and the cheese just perfectly melts on top. The best part about the food is hands down the quality. This is not a «cookie-cutter» chain store. Food is hand-made and with quality ingredients. Like the fact that this is a family owned restaurant. They treat you like family as soon as you walk in the door. Very nice to be respected and valued as a customer. I will certainly be back for more!

I ate a LOT of pizza in college and I mean… a LOT. So now, … years later, I dislike it. Sure, I’ll eat it if that’s all there is, but I never, and I mean never actually SEEK out a slice for dinner. That, my family is pleased to hear, has changed. THIS is what pizza should be. NY style crust, not too much sauce, quality cheese. I’m drooling just describing it. The ONLY other pizza joint that I’m ever agreeable to go visit is Saccone’s…and surprise, the proprietors of this joint share that last name. Talent for the pie must run in the family, and thank goodness Pizzeria Rialto is close to us! Yep…I think dinner tonight is decided.

Ok, let me start by saying I’ve been married to a native New Yorker for 21 yrs. We’ve searched high and low from Delaware to California trying to find an authentic NY pizza! I’ve grown weary and grown a pant size in this dismal pursuit until… LASTNIGHT!!! The Holy Grail of Pizza has been found folks in the strip mall of Leander!!! The sauce, the right amount of herbs, the cheese fusing just right in the sauce, and the tell-tell give away… the crust!!! COMPLETEPERFECTION!!! We fell in love!!! It was worth the drive from Bullcreek area for sure!!! The price was great too!!! Very understated décor, but the paper plates were a great hint that this NJ family knew to keep it East Coast!!! The family who runs it are very friendly and are very attentive to your needs. Please try it out, you won’t be disappointed!

I got pizza from here tonight. It was very good and the place was obviously a family shop. The pizza was thin the crust was very good and I’ll be ordering some more in the future. Its worth trying to see for yourself.

Not to be confused with the Saccone’s that apparently used to be on this spot, this is a small but homely family run pizza joint, also doing subs, calzone and stromboli. We went in on a quiet night and had attentive, respectful service — although it was quiet. We ordered antipasti which was good, if a little heavy on the lettuce. For our main we both had calzones, which were a good size with a rich ricotta filling. This looks like it has the makings of a friendly, family run pizza place with good service and attention to detail.

The Pizza is second to none, especially out here in Cedar Park. I have never had«New Jersey» style pizza before, but let me tell you… I’m tempted to travel now. They have two sauces, a sweet and a spicy. Try both! I will say, there selection is limited on pizza and they can be expensive. You do get what you pay for in the end. The service is always pretty decent and friendly. That is, unless you have to talk with one of the owners. I have had a horrible experience dealing with one of them.
