How does this place run out of soda weekly? It’s really sad that the owner and management off this location can’t take care of it. Also, employees at drive thru think you’re not going to check your bag. I ask for ketchup for my meal and you only out in bbq sauce. Then when u ask for the ketchup I get eye told and attitude. I’d much rather go to the cedar park location which is way out if the way.

It’s McD’s. I’m rating this on being McD’s. Not comparing it to anything other than what it is… McD’s. The staff has always been friendly and kind. I don’t think they have ever messed up an order. Our food has also been hot and fresh(on a McD’s level). My son loves the video games at the tables here. There is also a good playscape. I am not giving it a 5 start because sometimes it’s a little«unkept». It’s always hopping busy here, which explains it. Never a dirty feeling, but just like they could use some extra help in the dining areas keeping it all picked up and wiped down. That’s all I’m going to say about that. Thanks McD’s!

I can’t rate this McD any lower despite the un-oatmeal I got today via the drive thru. The employees inside and out are kind and smiling every time I land here. My favorite time was Happy Hour when beverages(even Frapps) are 2⁄1 but not out as much so haven’t been in a while. Food on those visits as well as at other times was hot and fresh and service pretty quick as well here in Leander. Restrooms are clean and orderly and play area is kept up as well. I appreciated what McDonalds did to offer some healthier options especially with the kids meals which seniors enjoy as well! I’ll return and I will order oatmeal again as it’s never been messed up before. I think today was an anomaly. Anyway rest assured there is no mob or shutdown due to SXSW!

Let me just say, I have my Mickey D’s crave and i love McDoubles and McDonald’s fries, its my guilty pleasure. However, this McDonald’s likes to add 10, 20 cents to every order, not sure you are seeing employee fraud. But I always see the«small fries» that is suppose to be $ 1.19 as advertised on the drive thru menu. always charged $ 1.29, and mcdoubles, 10 cents more, every time, when I point it out, the cashier always says they will let someone know, not sure who that someone is. Not against low wage workers getting $ 30 to $ 50 a night, but not at my expense. Change your drive thru menu if you charge more. Just saying. Still love my McDouble tho… Ronald the clown.

Well, it’s a McDonald’s, so there’s not too much to say because we have all been to plenty of McD’s. Here what sets this one apart: –Nice, big play area. There are quite a few tables in the separate play area, so parents can sit close to their playing kids. The play area is pretty self contained, so the kids are safe inside. Lots of fun play stuff that burns lots of energy, which is why we go. There is also a separate family bathroom, with a changing table, inside the play area, so you don’t have to trek through the resturant for potty breaks. –The drive thru is usually pretty fast, unless you hit it during peak times and then it is slow as all get out. Leander really only has this McD’s and a Taco Bell for drive thru place in this area, so they really get crowded at regular lunch/dinner times. –Always check your order from this place. It seems to have a 50⁄50 shot at getting it correct. The big stuff is usually correct, but the smaller stuff like the sides or extras are usually the items that go missing. Overall, it is an ok McD’s. Nothing special but not bad either.

We’ve been here before but today the staff must have been really off. Not only did we have to ask for our drinks after waiting 10 minutes — they’d erased it from the system! — but two others were complaining as well. I found it interesting that the employees were dealing with the upset people and not the manager. I only know she was the manager because of friend of hers came in and they were chatting. When you have 5 employees standing around basically doing very little someone shouldn’t need to wait 14 minutes for frappes & smoothies.

Very clean for a McDonalds! The restrooms are clean and the staff is in a better mood than you normally see in fast food!

Time for an update! Something has changed at the Leander McD’s. I don’t know if it’s management or what, but I’m much happier with them now. The people working the window will smile, and they are much more friendly than they were before. They actually say thank you now! The food standards are still higher than most McDs. My order is always hot and fresh, and as of lately, it’s always correct. The drive thru moves quickly, even at the busiest times of the day. So, if you’ve been disgusted with them in the past, give them another try!

It’s a McDonald’s. If you are looking to eat at a McDonald’s, you can do that here. If you don’t want to eat at a McDonald’s, you should avoid this place as it is a McDonald’s.

My recent visit(only because we were running late and it was right there) reminded me of why we don’t visit these plastic awful inedible garbage servers, the service and slop served up was worst than bad 2 bites and all I could taste was fat, throw it in the trash,

Worst McD’s around. We used to go there once a week after my daughters Volleyball practice for a few months, before I decided I can’t take it anymore. The people behind the counter are most of the times grumpy to downright rude and not one time in all those times we went, there wasn’t something missing from our order. I go to a different McD’s now Not as convenient driving wise, but the place is half as crowded, people are nicer too. I’ll never go back to this one again, not if ya paid me.

Saturday early morning, went through the drivethrough for breakfast for myself and two kids. Had an irritating experience. «We don’t have decaf iced coffee.» Whats so different about them using decaf rather than the regular pot to make this with milk and splenda so they are no starbucks but whatever. I’m looking over my receipt and realize they forgot my daughter’s hotcakes. No problem, I pull up to the 2nd window and tell them and say you know I said I wanted this as well but he didn’t put it on the order. I handed them my debit card to pay for the hot cakes. The guy says«ok, pull up to reserved spot one.» And I do. They bring out my hot cakes and debit card and the girl was like«you forgot this stuff.’ umm I forgot it? And I pulled up to the reserved spot seeing if you guys would catch onto MY mistake? What? Then I leave, and ten minutes later my daughter was like«I didn’t get my chocolate milk.» So… I had to stop at a gas station to get her a drink. Fail.

This mcdonalds has the best playplace in the area! It is always clean and has a family restroom to easily change your babies. Highly recommend a stop here if your kids want to play and you need some hot coffee.

I ordered a shake around 1:30am, late night craving. Some caramel had dripped onto the outside of the cup, so instead of being a normal worker and getting a napkin to solve this problem, The guy at the window swipes it up with his fingers, licks them, then hands my my shake. I was in shock and didnt know what to do or say, so I left and decided to never go back for any late night cravings. The night shift sucks. Some people don’t even deserve to get paid minimum wage.

We ask for two burgers with no onions and fries. Going to a local park to eat them in the shade. Open up the bag and we get two burgers with onions and no fries.

In general I despise Mcdonald’s, but this location is the worst. I caved and gave into my kids who wanted to go to McDonalds. I agreed against my better judgement and decided that the drive through was the way to go. Order placed… money paid. food delivered. Pulled up to check my order and surprise, no ketchup, straws, napkins or sauce for nuggets. The sauce thing really bugs me because they ask you which flavor sauce you want and add it to your ticket. So I have to park and go in because I cannot leave the kids in the car which undermines the whole reason for utilizing the drive through in the first place. I was iritated but polite when I explained to the teenager behind the counter that I received no napkins, straws, ketchup or sauce. His response, «We put napkins in every bag.». I knew this was going nowhere so I asked for a manager. Manager shows up and I politely inform the manager of the situation and that the associate at the counter did not seem to have any concern for the mistake. His reponse, «Sir, we put napkins in every bag.». The other patrons at the counter waiting to order who witnessed this just started laughing at the response. Well, poor management = poor employees and poor service. After getting ugly with the manager and telling him«Every F&*$ing bag has napkins except mine» I finally got 1 straw, 1 napkin, 1 ketchup and 1 sauce(not even the one I asked for) from the manager. Now I am really pissed… Family of four, kids in tow with me, he has looked at my receipt and seen 4 drinks on it, and he gives me 1 straw. So I have to ask again for 3 more straws a few napkins, perhaps a handful of ketchup and the correct nugget sauce. So-the manager is a douche bag, the training is obviously sub par, the service is terrible and as always, the food is your typical crappy quality McDonalds. I have no idea why kids love this place… they must have kid crack in the food!

Some of you may wonder why I am wasting my time writing a review about a national fast food chain… well normally I wouldn’t but 1 person I encountered gave me a reason to last night. I live in Leander(BFE of NW Austin). It’s 10 minutes until midnight — I realize I lost track of time and forgot to eat — stomach is really grumbling. McDonald’s is my last resort without driving 10 miles further in — normally it doesn’t suck it’s just not what I would have typically eaten if I had remembered to put substance in my belly during normal hours. So I drive the mile down to the 24 hour Mickey D’s… I placed my order — the guy says drive to the last window — and once I pull up to the last window — I immediately go from«Yay, I’m eating» to «WTF was I thinking?» The girl at the window from the minute she took my money treated me like I pulled up 5 minutes before they were closing. She seemed extremely agitated I was there. I had to sit in the drive through a little longer than expected because after she handed me my bag of food, without a word, she shut the window. So I waited… she finally came back with«what?» — Uh… can I get a straw and…(**window shut again**) She comes back and quickly sort of tosses a straw and I try to say— Can I ge…(**window shuts again**) so wait… a few seconds go by and she glances over, sees me looking at her, and walks out of sight — by now I should have left but it has turned into sort of a challenge/game for me. I WILLWIN So she comes back… «yeah?» — Um could I please get some napkins and Ketc…(**window closes again**) — I look back in my rear view mirror and see I have a line of cars behind me now. She reappears with napkins — KETCH…(**window closes**) Ok now I am at the«F*%$ ME» point. Because the things I am asking for are normally already in the bag… So I just start talking to the closed window using the voice of Milton(the stapler guy from Office Space) «And yes, I won’t be leaving a tip, ’cause I could… I could shut this whole resort down. Sir? I’ll take my traveler’s checks to a competing resort. I could write a letter to your board of tourism and I could have this place condemned. I could put… I could put… strychnine in the guacamole. There was salt on the glass, BIG grains of salt.» … Here she comes — uh oh — as soon as she starts to open the window I cut her off«KETCHUP please!» — She disappears and comes back with so much ketchup the packets can’t stay in her hands and a lot of it falls to the pavement… Oh good lord child — if you hate this job so much go find something else… no one is making you work here — but up until I met you I was happy there were local citizens like yourself who were willing to work through the night to provide food to those who needed a late meal on a weekend night. The food was typical McDonald’s — the service was absolutely a big fat 0.

When this McDonalds opened, it was great. Good food and great service. Now the service is awful and my order is wrong everytime. And believe me, we’ve given them multiple chances. I guess we are going to drive to Cedar Park and stop using this one.

I used to think the Mickey D’s on Burnet was the worst. Ha ha, the one, just a wee way up the road from my house has debunked Burnet and become the worse Mickey D’s. I don’t do a whole lotta Mickey D’s but my husband does. This location gets the order right about 1 in 5 times. Ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit for breakfast one morning and got a McGriddle sandwich… what the… I cannot stand maple flavored stuff(fake and bad no less) on eggs and cheese. Hubby went their one evening when he was ravenous. He placed his order and waited for his take out. Three other groups came in and got their orders. He decided to walk over to the counter to investigate and literally saw the manager throw away his receipt. My husband said, «hey» and the manager pretty much brushed him off. Hubby dumped his soda into the trash and walked out without his food. They should take many a lessons from the Taco Bell next door. They get orders right, service is fast, and friendly.

OMG. I love Mcdonald’s chicken nuggets can’t get enough of them sometimes. Did you know that they have a 20 piece meal for 7.99 my husband I share this meal. I use to stop by in the morning for my coffee and stopped going there cause it seems everytime I go they are getting their morning deliveries and that huge truck blocks the drive thru. I just avoid it all together now. McDonalds ROCKS!!!
