Luv the Fried Chicken Salad!!! Probably not healthy especially with Blue Cheese but delicious. Picked one up with some other stuff in the drive thru recently, my order was $ 15.50. Handed the girl in window $ 20.50. She handed back my 50 cents and told me «it’s not even $ 20, let me get your change.» Lol. Very young, inexperienced cashiers but the food is always good at lunch.

I love Zaxby’s zalads, especially the House Grilled«zalad». Tasty chicken in it, and well put together salad. Usually quick service, and always friendly. The Texas Toast that comes with this salad is also tasty, but since I’m trying to eat something healthy, I want whole wheat toast. But they use white bread instead. Also, every salad offered has at least some iceberg lettuce, and I’d rather have the other kinds of lettuce besides iceberg… green leaf, red leaf, spring greens, or last choice romaine… something with more nutritional value than empty iceberg. This Zaxby’s is hard to even see from Parmer or 1431… you hardly know it’s there since it’s hidden behind Wal Mart and a gas station on the corner. They need better signs letting you know they even exist… signs you could see as you’re going north on Parmer to 1431… and signs on 1431. The only reason I discovered their delicious food was because I had a coupon!

Weak. For my money next time I want chicken fingers from a fast food joint I’ll drive past this place and go to Raising Cains. Very underwhelming food.

I’m from the east coast and very familiar with Zaxby’s. Those reviewing Zaxby’s negatively because they are not locally owned are not reviewing objectively. We ordered the buffalo chicken plate… food came out fresh, promptly and the buffalo chicken had the right amount of kick to it. Fries were crispy, coleslaw is southern east coast style. This place is not a gourmet, vegan friendly, health conscious restaurant. It is a fast food restaurant similar to Raising Canes not PDQ… Nice portions, affordable for a quick bite to eat… great addition to the chicken craze in TX

I’m from north Georgia and I have to say that I am so happy they opened here! Tastes like home :) Can’t go wrong with the kickin chicken sand and the sweet tea.

Worst experience ever I traveled from Fort Hood army base just for a taste of home and the food was amazing but the staff was lackadaisical in the pursuit of customer service I ordered $ 40 worth of food and 2 out of the 6 meals I ordered was not accounted for yes I should have checked it but Ive been eating Zaxbys for 8yrs with no problem but this particular establishment had the lowest level of service of my entire career it was horrible on top of the fact that I’m a veteran of the United States army and my wife is still in that uniform for a 45min drive 2 Zaxbys and 45min back 2 Fort Hood I’m highly disappointed.

Despite all of the bad reviews I stopped here for a quick snack. Got their 4 piece tender, fries, toast and a drink at the drive thru. Ordering was painless, service was fast as could be, food was fresh and hot at 2:30 in the afternoon on a Tuesday. Everything was good. Quite heavy on the seasoning, but good. Service was quick and courteous. No complaints.

This place is pretty new and I heard it was a wing place out of Atlanta. It’s definitely a to-go kinda place. HUGE seating area(meaning you are super far from the table?) at every table. and you can’t scoot up. odd. I have gone 2x and ordered the blue salad(blue cheese chicken salad) I always say I’m going to try the wings but I feel guilty — go with the salad and you still feel like you ate healthy lol wings are ok — fries –ok. nothing i’m running bk for but decent. Salads come with a side of texas toast. highly buttered. sinful but good.

Since the servers were friendly, I’ll give them 2 stars instead of 1. Decided to drop by because there isn’t much I haven’t tried around here, and upon walking in noticed the rather… Interesting décor of the place. I can’t quite pin it down; is it a dennys, a crackerbarrel, or a buffalo wild wings? Ordered the Buffalo chicken strips and was a little surprised that they just have pre-packaged sauces sent to them from some factory(The«zax sauce» has high fructose corn syrup & the ranch has MSG). What really warrants a 1 star though are the fries. I mean, I’m half-convinced that they went to the Walmart next door and bought some packaged crinkle fries and threw them in the oven. The chicken strips were pretty good, but while being crispy they didn’t seem to be that fresh(sort of luke-warm with the temp). Overall I just don’t see the appeal for somewhere like this when there are far more chicken strip places that are local and 100x better all around(shout out to Bob & Mikes).

We tried the special they were advertising figuring this would be a decent representation of what they have. It came with chicken strips, fries, and a drink. In comparison to other chicken places I would give PDQ and Canes a leg up on this place. I thought the chicken here was dry and uninspiring. The fries were better than Canes, but if fries were my craving, neither would make my top 5 list. I probably would not be back here unless I really didn’t feel like driving the extra couple miles out to Canes.

This chicken place has lost in the battle of the 1431 chicken challenge! The food took a long time to come out, the onion rings were cold, none of the sauces tasted good, and the chicken just tasted bad. We used the coupon that came out in the paper for 5 free chicken fingerz and even for free we would not come back. The girl with the long blonde hair was changing the trash cans when we walked in. She then came to take our order without washing her hands. I had to ask her to wash her hands! Her name started with a M i believe. This should have given me a clue to how this experience was going to go, bad just bad!

Having come from a place in GA that had many Zaxby’s established, I was so excited to see this opening. When I eat here 2⁄3 of my hourlong lunch break is taken by the commute to and fro, just so I can have their chicken fingers. BUT. You guys are extremely inconsistent with your portioning. I order a large Wings & Thingz, and some days I get a lot of chicken fingers and wings and two pieces of Texas toast. Today I got one piece of toast, 3 ½ chicken tenders and 4 wings. This is not a large! The $ 2 upcharge went where exactly? Very disappointed! Please work on ensuring ALL your employees use the same discretion on portioning. The food is great, the tea is sweet… just waiting for the service to improve!

For fast food, pretty good. Great grilled chicken salad. Love the Texas toast that comes with the salad. I really like their(grilled) Cajun sandwich too. Their diet DP is so good, perfect amount of syrup and bubbles.

I ordered a Chicken Finger Plate and thought it was pretty dang good. The only thing disappointing was the toast. Why couldn’t the toast be more like Golden Chick’s Yeast Bread. But then again I don’t have incredibly high standards when it comes to fast food so as long as its not overcooked, mildly palatable and is reasonably priced it’ll get a good rating from me! Cheers Mate!

I lived in Athens Georgia, Zaxby headquarters, for several years and know Zaxby very well. I knew about them before they started sprouting up all over Georgia. Georgia is known as the chicken export state because the University of Georgia, located in Athens, has a large agriculture/veterinary school for livestock. Athens is riddled with chicken plants and every now and then you’ll find dead chickens on the road that have fallen out of the transport vehicles. With all this chicken you’ll find plenty of chicken strip restaurants or chicken shacks. Many delicious chicken and biscuit establishments are found around Athens. Zaxby started there first restaurant in Statesboro, where my friends were going to college at the time. During that time REM was recording mega hits and was attracting musicians to Athens. My friends moved to Athens in hopes to break into the music industry. They played music at night and worked day jobs, food service. One of my best friends worked at this small chicken shack called Guthrie’s. He was telling me about this amazing chicken strip sauce they make at Guthrie’s and that someone from Zaxby was working at Guthrie’s. Guthrie’s never had a trade secret or patent on that sauce recipe, they should have. All the sudden, Zaxby started churning out that same sauce in their restaurants and littered Georgia with tons of franchises. Hmmm… I know the recipe and I can make it better than Zaxby. Zaxby is consistently salty and over seasoned. Everything from the breading to the french fries.

In a word: Disappointing. Given the chicken finger shoot-out happening in the north or Austin, you’d think Zaxby’s would bring it’s «A-Game» to town. Instead, their food is a step better than airport cuisine. I ordered a Chicken Finger plate with coleslaw, fries and toast. The chicken fingers were lukewarm and didn’t seem fresh(as opposed to fresh daily tenders on offer down the street at PDQ). The sauce was in a foil-sealed plastic cup. The fries were crinkle; also lukewarm. Toast was toasted on one side only. Cole slaw was institutional. Blesh! Two thumbs down. One star for overall interior design of Zaxbys. Food was dreadful compared to finger powerhouses, PDQ and Cane’s, but still a way better experience than the horrible service I had on the one trip I made to Bob & Mikes in Cedar Park. Up your game, Zaxby’s!

Not the best chicken. Salads just ok, wings are mediocre. Our second time here and still not impressed. I feel the fingers are not fresh or crispy. There are sooooo many chicken places in the area and this is last one on the list. Pluckers, Canes, PDQ, and CFA are better options.

Let’s face it, the competition for Best Chicken Strips in Cedar Park is fierce. At the very least, you have to do something to stand out. Unfortunately for Zaxby’s, I didn’t see much that distinguished it from its peers. Borderline dry chicken(with bonus gristle) and a mountain of filler-food crinkle fries on my plate are not things that encourage me to open up my wallet again and again. Like Cane’s they seem to have one standard sauce for their strip meals and that’s it. Not even pretending to be fresh, as it came to us in a blister packet. I’ve never stepped foot in this chain before, and the menu was a mess. There were about three different lists of the meal deals in addition to an a la carte menu and each list was different by one or two items. None of them really elaborated on what the meal contained or how many tenders. I really don’t want to stand at the counter asking 20 questions at a place like this about what exactly the descriptive«Big Zax Snax Meal» contains so it makes things awkward. So you wanna go here, I recommend briefing yourself on the website first. I’ll give this place another chance for the tossed buffalo wings, which promise to present more variety. But the truth is that in Cedar Park, there’s no dearth of better chicken offerings.

Coming from South Carolina, there were Zaxby’s everywhere. When I found out there was one here, I was super excited. I don’t normally like reviewing fast food, but I made an exception for Zaxby’s. I LOVE their House Zalad with fried chicken. It is not healthy, but it is good. You could probably make it a little healthier by getting grilled chicken, but let’s be honest, its just not as good as the fried chicken. Unlike other fast food salads, this one is made with fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, and crisp lettuce. The best part is the fried onions. It’s one yummy salad. I haven’t had much else besides their salad and chicken fingers, but I do appreciate their variety, unlike Raising Cane’s which basically has fingers and a sandwich. Monday night is Family night between 5 – 8. You get 4 meal dealz and 6 cookies for $ 20. It is a pretty great deal. Oh, also, their seasonal birthday cake milkshake is also really yummy.

HELLO… this place has some awesome chicken fingers. The fries are seasoned, thank you, and the crust on the chicken doesn’t cut into my gums(I have had that happen before). The sauce is delicious with just the right amount of spice. I absolutely love a large piece of texas toast! Definitely try to make it here to try, so worth it. The menu has plenty to choose from, not just chicken strips.
