Was just there with a friend, 2 bartenders, one on each side of the bar. The side we sat down on had plenty of open chairs and so we picked two and sat down. Waited about six minutes and nobody acknowledged us. Saw a group of girls walk up and continued to wait. The girls went up to order one by one and we continued to sit and wait. Another five minutes passed and the bartender finally acknowledged us but only said«be right with you girls» and continued to serve the other group who came minutes after us. Waited a few more minutes before we decided to just leave. Not even sure the bartender noticed. As a bartender myself, in a busy place like this you should not be taking and making only one drink order at a time. Don’t think we will be back any time soon.

I actually joined Unilocal just so I could make this review. Last night my friends and I went into Atrium for a quick drink around 11pm. We waited to be served, and waited. Watching the people pushing past us or next to us get served. We’re acknowledged kind of at one point, by one bartender and waited. Finally a nice gentleman sitting at the bar mentioned how we had been waiting patiently to the bartender working the area around us. The bartender looked at him, shrugged, never even looked at us right next to him and walked away. Now mind you, we are four 30 something professionals, we were not drunk and rowdy, nor obnoxious. We walked out, proceeded to Scorpion Bar and had a drink within 5 minutes of hitting the bar– despite how packed it was. Now that’s service! Unfortunately we probably will not return to Atrium as the whole situation and blatantly rude bartender put a bad taste in our mouths.

During the day on Sunday this place is asleep. Nice to unwind though.

This place is decent. $ 12 martinis!!! They are definitely NOT watered down. Bands are ok. Not really my style since I’m not pushing a walker, but hey if I wanted to get hit on by old married men this is the place to go. Seriously, there are some good groups. My friends and I had a ladies night, we had a good time watching the drunken dancing. There was some eye candy so that helped. Nothing to really brag about though.

This place is not«hidden» behind a waterfall as they say on the info channel in your Foxwoods hotel room — it’s smack dab in the middle of everything and that’s kind of odd. The drinks were fine, the service decent — but man, I strongly dislike the smoking going on. I guess I should have my cocktails and dancing elsewhere, but it was a distraction, especially after being able to be smoke-free in bars/restaurants for so long… anyway, the band, I wish I knew their name — was less than good. Wes till danced because damn it, we wanted to dance, but it was a little brutal, with the exception of the horn section. Once again the people watching was the best part of the whole thing. There is definitely not a dress code here, we even spotted enough interesting outfits and a bonafide mullet… that plus the band made us think perhaps we had time-warped without realizing it.(FYI — the Friday night band — we were there Sat. — was seemingly much better — we were just walking by, but I’m pretty sure it was more up to date music and better renditions of them all at that.)

The service here is absolutely terrible. I used to come here on Monday evenings and relax with a beer while watching a cheesy(nevertheless entertaining) musical act and the waitress serving me was clueless, inattentive, and just downright unprofessional. I feel like I’m always being ignored when I want a drink, but hassled when I am trying to relax and enjoy myself. The entertainment and atmosphere are very cool(Extremely Loud, High Energy) but since you are able to see and hear the musical acts from just outside the bar or casino floor sitting at the bar and overpaying for a drink to see the show seems pointless to me. I Left this place and I haven’t looked back since.

As long as you sit at the bar and put in about $ 5 dollars to play the keno or poker machine… you are all set. I was able to get a Ketel One Bloody Mary, Ketel One Cranberry, and a Patron Margarita while I sat and played Keno. The bartender told me as long as it looked like I was playing and put it money every so often(a total of $ 8) the drinks just come flowing for free. I’m not a big gambler but I was willing to spend short of 10 on a machine if it equated to $ 35 dollars in drinks. The bartenders were super friendly and filled our glasses quickly! Just make sure you don’t forget to tip since you won’t be getting a tab in the end!

A little place sort of in the middle of everything going on. Open. You can see what’s going on if you cared to look across the casino floor or check out whos walking around. Not fancy, nothing to really look at besides that water thing outside of it, it’s kinda just a whatever place for drinking and music. They had lots of TV’s with games on too but the cover band is what caught our attention to go check it out. The drinks were oddly made, it was either nothing in it or waaaay too much in it. I liked our waitress. The group of us sat at a table on the side to re-group. She was really nice, helpful too with a few things and friendly. The band they had up was great, covers from the 70s to right now. I wish I could recall the name, older guy trying to relive his wishful want to be a performer days and a girl vocalist who rocked.

We usually go here before we go out to a club at Foxwoods on a Friday or Saturday. First of all, it’s free to get in and watch the bands and they play until 2am(unlike Mohegan’s Wolf Den which seems to end around 9 or 10). The bands usually appeal to and draw-in an older crowd and either play standard cover songs(70’s, 80’s, some 90’s) or Motown/Classics. The bands we have seen are always really talented and just depends on if you like the style or not. Dance floor is usually busy too. Hard to get a seat at a table or the bar, and drinks are pricey and small, but a night out at the casino you expect to pay some money. I am not sure this would be a destination for us as our only place to go, but as part of our evening we enjoy it.

My brother and I were waiting around while my fiancé was in the poker room, so we decided to go to Atrium because we figured it would be less expensive than Hard Rock… there aren’t many bars around Foxwoods unless you go in a restaurant so we went here– its in the middle of the shops and casinos… a jack and coke and a chocolate martini were $ 22!!! and they were by all means not worth it– they were small and not that much alcohol. So we decided on draft beers– $ 5 each. Not worth it. Could have spend $ 11 each at Hard Rock and got free souvenir glasses to take home. Not worth it for drink at all. Staff was nice tho… but really go somewhere else.
