I have been trying to contact someone and am going to leave this complaint on here: I have been to several Buffalo Wild Wings locations– from Joplin Mo, Springfield, Arkansas, North Kansas City, and Lees Summit. My fiancé and I were at lunch today, and 3 arab guys sat at a table beside us. Now, I have brought food in for my children before and no one has ever told me I was not allowed to, or been asked to stop eating. With that said, 1 of the arabs brought in Wendys– now he could of had lots of reasons as to why he brought it, food allergy, couldn’t afford BWW’s but wanted to hang out with his friends etc… A manager, younger white male, with an incredibly wrinkled shirt, horrible customer service, walked up to the young man and asked him to put his food away. His 2 friends had ordered food and were paying customers but he was asked to put his food away. I politely asked the manager, where is your sign? Gas stations say no shirt no service, so where is BWW’s sign on the door, wall, anywhere saying this gentleman could not eat his lunch. I don’t generally do this, and I work in customer service and understand that bad reviews are no fun. But where is your customer service? The manager had no words for me except, «we have no signs, it’s just our policy». I said so then he can eat, and the manager walked away. He didn’t apologize to the young man, he didn’t say a word to him. Was him eating Wendy’s really that hurtful to you? My goal here is not to slam this location, as I have been here before and had a wonderful experience– but to deny him from eating his Wendy’s for absolutely no reason, to me shows the lack of care this manager had towards his customers. I was incredibly offended for the men– please keep in mind all 3 men were incredibly polite and didn’t say a word, just did as they were told. If you are going to have a policy like this, GETSIGNSUP! I have been to several restaurants that allow you to bring in other foods, and I most definitely have never seen anyone tell a customer to stop eating when they clearly have paying customers sitting beside them.

Use to come here a lot and had great experiences but we just visited for first time in several months and everyone is new and service was inexperienced and no more than service. We came to visit friends and watch game, we got one beer and then our wings came. Server then immediately return with our second beer and the check. Apparently we were done based on servers opinion. We paid and went down the street for the game and beer. Our entire check was less than our typical tip we leave. There is a reason people come sit in the bar for games and it’s not to just see the pre game show! Wings were slimy and fatty. Not crisp like other Bww. So wet had to wipe sauce off so I could grip them in my hands. To many other Bww for bad experience. Will not be back. Fruit flies in bar area annoying!

They sure are proud of their wings! The prices are high in my opinion. The service is not outstanding. The wings are good though.

We usly go to the one in independence but was in lees summit & we all wanted wings, we waited forever just to talk to someone, their wasn’t a wait just had to wait to be seated then the waitress was extremely slow about everything, the food was fine, it was her lack of service sucked ! I had to ask other servers for just about everything ! Wasn’t even that busy ! Can’t see myself returning anytime soon to this one ! Indep. location will be the one we will being gong to from now on! Sorry I waisted my time at this location ! I usly leave a 15% tip but only left 10% tip.

We love BWW and usually order wings to go and take them home to eat. However we were shocked at the increase in price with our last order and won’t be paying that much just for wings. We are looking for a new wing place in town.

This is easily my favorite restaurant. I LOVE their fried pickles. They also have boneless Thursday and traditional Tuesday where you can get the wings for 65 cents each. They just don’t advertise it anymore. If you just ask them, they’ll give you those deals on Tuesday or Thursday. The only catch on those days is you have to pay extra for your ranch and veggies but I think it’s worth it. Most of their apps are gross, but those fried pickles are awesome! Nom nom nom!!!

I’ve been there many times over the last few years and have never had a single complaint with servers or food. I just wish it wasn’t so dark in there all the time.

Waited over 15 minutes for a beer. Bar and restaurant were not busy. Manager had no excuse except, «Well I guess she(bartender) just got behind and nobody put the order in.» That doesn’t explain our first beers that took 30 minutes either. Oh well.

BWW is a good place to watch the game of the day but because of that it’s a bit too loud to hold a conversation. The food is pretty good but you would be hard pressed to find smaller wings anywhere. The excellent choice of sauces still makes it worth going now and then. If the wings were larger it would be one of my favorites, but if you’re going out for wings in Lee’s Summit or anywhere in the Kansas City area, I’d suggest The Peanut.

For a sports bar, it’s everything you’d want. Alot of TVs and they will try there best to put on what you’d like to watch. The service is always a little slow and we always have to ask for things more than once. The food is always hit or miss. We can get amazing wings one day and super dry ones the next.

I see why this place has such bad reviews. We had to ask for napkins and silverware. Seriously? Even asked for a to-go box that never came. The best part about this place was that we saw a guy working that waited on us before and asked him his name, «Spencer». If u go, ask for him. The best worker there. I’d stay outta there but my gf likes it and its so close. Gonna ask for Spencer on our next visit.

It’s a Sports Bar. I don’t often go to Sports Bars because I don’t really watch sports, except that I am a die hard college hockey fan. I went there last night because I wanted to watch the Minnesota Gophers and Union College play for the NCAA championship. I sat at the end of the bar and ate some ginger wings and drank a couple of Blue Moon beers. I also had the potato wedges. The food is typical bar fare and if you like bar food, BWW is as good as any. My potato wedges were good. The Wings, the ginger wings, which are a seasonal special for a short time, were excellent. I got to chat with a few people that came to eat at the bar and even got to share my knowledge of hockey with someone. The folks at BWW took good care of me. They tuned the TV right above where I was sitting to the game. Although my Gophers lost, it was a good game. I’d go back to BWW. Several other non wing related items on the menu looked really good, and the beer selection was pretty good.

A ok, for lunch. Not always the quickest. Lots of TV’s of various sizes. Sometimes they will leave you hanging at the hostess station for a few minutes with the place is 2⁄3 empty. Wings are decent. Tuesday and Thursdays are the best for lunch depending on your preference on Boneless/Traditional Wings. Good variety of wing flavors so you should be able to find a few that are at least decent if not good.

Wings are pretty good, small but good. Service was slow and unfriendly… but it was busy so maybe it was an off night. There were several occasions I sat with an empty glass just waiting… and waiting. For the price, not a bad stop.

**Update*** This is one of the Buffalo Wild Wings sites that DOES allow you to make to-go orders online for pickup online. This is convenient, you can set your pickup time. I scheduled some wings to be picked up, and timed it so I could go do some errands in Summit Fair first. Convenient! . But, no. When I went to pick up my order, they had NO record that the order had been placed, and it certainly hadn’t been filled. The girl working the counter was nominally apologetic, but her attitude was pretty«whatever.» She informed me that if I use the online ordering, I should«ALWAYS follow up with a call to double check,» because«The online ordering system doesn’t really communicate well with our computers, here.» Oh. Well, see, the point of ordering online is, I don’t know, doing it online. As in, not having to call the order in. Here’s an idea… if you either can’t work out a system to check your online orders, or if the website gnomes don’t like to talk to your cash register computers, maybe don’t offer online ordering. Just a thought. I had to re-place my order, and wait almost a full half hour to get my food. I thought, oh, maybe she’ll comp something, or give me coupons, or something. Nope. Bad plan when you’ve inconvenienced a customer that much. I won’t dock a star, because my dine-in experiences have been great, and the food is consistent. But people do need to know that they shouldn’t bother to utilize the«order online» option.

Disclaimer: I did not eat at this place voluntarily. BUT — I found that it IS possible to eat vegetarian at this place. Sort of. I went here with a group of 8 on a Sunday afternoon. Apparently there were some football games on TV which made it impossible to get a seat in a decent amount of time or to get the attention of any of the staff who pretended that they had more important things to do than wait on a table of hungry, ready to tip patrons. About 20 minutes after sitting down our waitress finally stopped by. By then we had to tell her that — thanks to the wait — we were in a bit of a hurry and needed to order and get the show on the road. 15 minutes later we got our water. 5 minutes later she finally took our order. We noticed that people who sat down long after us were already enjoying their food while we were simply hoping for water refills. After another 30 minutes passed we asked the waitress — whom we had to literally chase down on the other side of this dark and blackened restaurant — to speak to a manager. About 10 minutes later we were looking through our wallets to leave money for our drinks when the manager walked up to our table and no sooner said, «We are backed up today. Your food will be right with you,» before she literally turned her back and walked away without giving us a chance to talk. THAT is bull$#!t. Anyway, our food eventually came and we ate in a quick hurry and threw our money on the table before our bill even came so we could get the hell out of there. I ordered an artichoke-spinach flatbread without chicken. Considering how crappy the rest of the place was, the flatbread was decent. Everyone else’s food was brown, fried, and greasy. No one finished their food. My friend’s salad and dressing was all wrong but she didn’t even bother sticking up for her order since even the manager wouldn’t even hear us out. I will never, never go back to this crap-tastic excuse of a restaurant. I would rather spend my Sundays in solidarity with Ghandi and fast than walk into this place.

I love Buffalo wings. I love boneless Buffalo wings. I love Buffalo sauce on every kind of poultry. I have been spoiled by Grandparents that live in Buffalo, NY, but I am not judging them according to that standard. I gave this location of BWW only two stars because the service is horrible. The waitresses(I say Waitresses because I have never seen a male server at this location) are kind but absent minded. I do not like that their«uniforms» are extremely tight, like they want to be a step above hooters. Our order was lost. I had to ask about the current situation with our order to remind our waitress that we still had not received the food. I do not know about the cooks that they have, but the food has never come in a timely manner. I have been to this BWW twice, which is twice too many. How long does it take to deep fry some fries and cook some chicken strips? It should not take 45 minutes! It is a better use of my time and money to just buy some frozen chicken strips at the grocery store. I will not go back to this location again.

This is a solid BWW. Most people know what a BWW is all about and this one is maybe just a touch friendlier and touch cleaner then most. Wings are good(but not really as good as those in Buffalo or Jamestown NY) and better then most chains. Beer is always cold and they will find whatever game you want to watch. Good place to hang out and be with KUMU or KS fans as they harrass each other in a friendly manner.

Long story short: Your Atypical sportsbar kind of place, but they do the wings right. Long story long: While visiting KC back in June, I was told one of my stops had to be Buffalo Wild Wings, even though yes, we have them in LA, but I’m just saying. As a lover of the flight devices of the township of Buffalo(*shrug*), I was down for that. I went with 2 friends to this one because it was near where he was staying with his wife’s sister and her family. Walking in, this place looks just like any old chain sports bar, a lot like Alondra Hot Wings. We snagged a table in the«bar area». 4 walls of TVs with one large projection on one of the walls. Typical menu for a sports bar featuring wings, wing platters of different sizes with a plethora(I love that word) of sauces, ranging from mild and sweet sauces to very hot and spicy sauces. Between the 3 of us, we decided to share 50 wings, getting 10 each of the teriyaki, mild, parmesan garlic, honey bbq, and Asian zing. We didn’t get any sides… I think. Our wings came out and each 10 wings were in its own little tray. I basically went down the line and then circled around. I did 5 passes. Yes, out of 50 wings and between me and my 2 friends, I ate half of them. I mean, I can eat more than them and like I said, I love wings. All of the sauces were good, but I think my favorite was… I actually liked all of them. Well, let me rephrase… I probably liked the parmesan garlic the least, but I still liked it. Service was friendly and our waters were never empty. One cool thing I thought they had was video poker. They have these small machines they give you and you can log in with a username so you can play your friends, or other people in the restaurant, and it’s all broadcast on a couple of their TVs so everybody can watch. It’s hard to not get emotional because you kind of don’t want anybody else to know that you’re one of the players. However, all 3 of us were playing and we thought were playing a couple of other people, but figured they were probably bots. I can’t wait to come back, cuz again, I love wings. But I’ll probably go to a location that’s a little closer for me.

This location just got a new remodel which it needed the dining room orginally was too crowded and the booths were uncomfortable. The service here is fair if you go for lunch normally there is only one or two servers in the dining room and sometimes it takes awhile for them to get to you. Regular wings are on special tuesdays and boneless wings on special Thursdays… Honey BBQ is the best!
