Worst place EVER. I am a light weight and went out with my friends. We went in fairly drunk and planned to get trashed! Girls night out celebration bash! We came in drunk, had a few drinks came out sober! WTF! Not only that but I had paid the waitress for my one drink with a $ 20. Twenty minutes later I was trying to hunt her down for my change. The drink she gave me was horrible, not only in taste but very weak. I rarely drink so if I am saying its weak it is VERYWEAK! My second drink I went to the bar cause the waitress took way too long with a half full bar and too many waitress working. I ordered a different drink, again awful in taste and weak! My third drink I ordered something I knew.(I was trying to expand my knowledge of drinks hell I still haven’t had a long Island Ice Tea or a Sex on the Beach or what not). But this time I knew what it should be and taste like… WORST Pineapple Upside Down Cake drink I have ever had. Not only did it not have alcohol but it was watered down and in a shot, not a drink as I had ordered!!! I will NEVER go back or ever recommend anyone I ever meet to go there ever! I may not drink often, but my group of friends very much do and they were also complaining.

If you’re ever in the mood to run into all the LSHS classmates you never were all that interested in seeing again — this is the place to go. Honestly, it’s not the establishments fault though, but it does have that comfortable«Suburban feel» that I guess attracts them. The drinks aren’t too bad, but, don’t let the name fool you — it’s not a brewery(At least not the last time I was there). Comfortable setting, though you will have to listen to some visor’d Bros recalling glory years. Deck is pretty nice. Food is ok, but, forgettable. If they have a signature plate, waitstaff should be quick to point it out, otherwise, I’m not aware of any.

We sat at our table for twenty minutes without anyone coming to take our orders. We finally got up and walked out and it was as if we were ghosts: nobody even acted like they could see us. If you want to know what it feels like to be invisible, come eat at the Brew Top. Well, come and TRY to eat, you won’t because no one will wait on you because you’re a ghost. BOO!

OK Unilocalers, I learned my lesson. My friend and I were trying to figure out where we wanted to go watch the Royals game. He mentioned BrewTop. As always I pull up Unilocal and look at the reviews. It didn’t look good, bad reviews for food and service. I also looked at Google reviews and they were really good. I decided to go against Unilocal because I couldn’t come up with a thing else and I was going to be close to that area. I ordered the handbreaded tenderloin, my friend ordered the meatball slider. I had to say that it was the worst tenderloin I’ve had in my life. It was so thin and dry that you could barely see the meat. The crust was horrible as well. My friend said his meatball slider tasted weird a day kind of dirty. The waitress was horrible and acted as I inconvienced her by asking for mayo. She never refilled my water and it was empty for over half of the meal. We planned on sticking around to have drinks and finish watching the Royals game but had enough. I will never be going back there again and I will never go against the Unilocal gods :)

I read the reviews here and went anyway… had to meeting out of town family and reservations had already been made by someone else. Well, you all were right about the service! They knew how many of us were coming 16 ahead of time. You would think they would staff that! NO! There were 2′ let me say that again…2 waitresses for the entire place on Cinco de Mayo and a Royals game was playing! We waited forever to be waited on and then again forever to get our food. One of our party never did get her hamburger dinner! I had the Dragon Shrimp(EXCELLENT) and the Cobb salad(the avocado was beyond serving as I want my avocado in a salad to have some tooth not be mushy! Otherwise the salad was good). It’s was not the waitress’s fault the management did not have enough forsight to bring in extra help! Will I go back? NOPE! We were at the Lee’s Summit location.

Horrible service, equally horrible food. Took over an hour to get our order and the place wasn’t even half full. I would not recommend this place, surprised they’re still open. No idea why anyone would return, I won’t.

I have been here about three times. Here is what I thought about what I had: Nachos — cold, burnt chips, hardly any meat and cheese but that was fine cause they sucked anyway. Pretzel Ham and Cheese — It’s hard to screw up a ham and cheese. This one is ok, I wish it had a thinner shaved ham on it. It’s a bit chewy as is. The cheap cheese on it could also be improved. Tater tots — burnt. Go to sonic across the street. Reuben — Raggedy bread, cold, meat was chewy, sauce was too thin. Service — The first time we went was last football season. Our waitress wouldn’t turn on Monday Night Football in the corner for us because the Cardinals were playing and there were about 15 cards fans watching. It was on the big TV so that didn’t make sense. Second visit food came out cold and waitress was seen once to take my order and once to bill me. Last visit I sat at the bar. Food was burnt, but cold so figure that one out. Bartender was busy changing the TV stations and talking to other employees so I was forgotten for a bit. This place could be cool, it’s just not.

If you want mediocre bar food and a mediocre bar atmosphere, well then The Brew is your spot. I can’t say that this is the type of place I would have chosen on my own anyways but I was taken here by someone else for a business lunch and my first impressions were pretty much on the money. The food was flavorless and a bit overpriced and the servers were indifferent to us at best. There is nothing here that would drive me back and certainly nothing to write home about. And for those thinking that this may be a good place for a business lunch, let’s just say that it took nearly 45 minutes to get our food. I guess if you are trying to avoid getting back to the office then this may be the perfect place for you.

The food here is basically a bar and grill. Good beer selection, especially the Mother’s brews from Springfield MO. The atmosphere is your basic bar and grill but it was a little cold inside the day we were there… as most of the tables away from the doors was taken or reserved. Food was decent but not out of this world. My kids like their fried pickles.

Place to avoid. Very, Very slow service with an inexperienced server who lacked focus and attention as well as an indifferent manager created a really bad experience at this place. 1 ½ hrs from the time we were seated to arrival of food. We were with a group of 15 and this seems to totally overwhelm them. Manager said we should have called 2 days ahead for reservations. Restaurant was less than ½ full and on a Monday nite at that. Good Place to AVOID.

This is the old Patio Quigleys. It has sold a few times since then and Unfortunatly it hasnt changed a bit. Dont get me wrong going there in the day or early evening is a great experience. The food and atmosphere is good. Its also a great place to watch a game with friends. Then comes the night time. It seems like every idiot comes out of the wood work to come to the dance club downstairs. There is a reason why the previous owners had police at the door every Sat. and Sunday night. It is one fight after another. Last Friday a girl was getting into a fight with one of my wifes friends. My wife got between them to stop it. The ladies husband grabbed my wife by her wrist and pulled her out and threw her into some tables and told her to stay the F out of it. The waitress did throw them out… That lasted all of 5 min before they came right back in and ordered a drink from the same waitress. Really my kids go to timeout for longer than that. Sure enough they started another fight. They have zero security now. I do not recommend this place for its nightlife.
