They started delivering in my area for a week. South Kansas City doesn’t have anyone who delivers besides Pizza Slut and Mr. Nonsense. I won’t be coming in anymore for their Thursday special or having family events here again. Deliver to my area and we got business. Don’t tease an underprivileged area, that isn’t out of the way, like ours. Even Google Fiber got Bannister Acres!!! The food is great but why can’t they deliver in my neighborhood? Especially after doing it several times.

Great pizza. Good beer. Fun place. Lotsa ingredients. Great place for families and softball teams. The kids will enjoy the games and rides. Been here several times, always the cats’ meow — if you get my expression.

I love the crisp crust and pizzas with thick toppings here. This pizza is excellent! Give this place a try… it is very good. Try the MEATHEAD pizza.

This place is ridiculously cheap no refills on soda, they ration there cheese and peppers to you and charge for a to go box. Service is slow and unfriendly too much hassle for mediocre pizza.

My kids love this place. Karaōke is available on Friday nights and the food is well prepared. This is an older establishment and a first glance seems a little«dingy» but it’s actually clean and a pretty fun hangout for the family. Nachos are great… pizza is great… and my kids like the bar app menu. It can be a bit confusing if you’ve never visited. You order and wait and then pay when you pick up your prepared food. The kitchen staff are helpful and will offer up their favorites if asked. Fun, Family-Friendly, and Economical.

Still the best! Better than other funhouses around town and always good for the past 30+ years I’ve been eating their pizza. Only family friendly AND alcohol friendly venue around. Kids love it, rides for little ones, arcade for bigger ones, large screen tabs with sports for biggest ones, and overall great food, great atmosphere, great drinks, great value. I assume the same specials continue but it’s always been: Order a large pizza get a free pitcher of soft drinks… family fed for less than 20 bucks! Add a pitcher of beer and everyone’s happy for $ 30 or less. Their pizza is substantial and filling, no skinny gourmet bs here. However be prepared to spend a lot of quarters in the arcade especially if you have kids. Also as anyone in this area knows the best place for team events or birthday parties, large multi seating area in backroom. The Italian sausage is best, piled on nice and thick, the combos are damn good too!

I like the fact that Raytown Funhouse is now smoke free. I enjoy the luncheon pizza combo. It’s just the right size for one person add the salad and drink for a great deal. They also have free wifi so it makes a great place for a daytime business meetup.

Thank you to Fun House and Gary for yet again taking care of our family. It may not be a traditional way to celebrate one’s life, but it was EXACTLY the way my Grandmother would have wanted it. Our family has celebrated birthdays, mini reunions, weddings, anniversaries, etc for 40+ years. Tonight we added another category to our special spot: life celebration. This is a generational pizza hang out that has original taste and a family atmosphere. Thanks Fun House!

I’m new to the area and trying all the local pizza places. I didn’t like their pizza at all. One of my good friends says that it’s her Dad’s favorite though. I think I’ll stick to Waldo pizza or Minsky’s.

We went for the karaōke and I was surprised at how good the chicken wings were! They were large, fried chicken wings. They didn’t come in a meal but they came individually priced, which was the deal for the money. The coating was light and crispy, and the seasoning was perfect. They were well cooked. The bar drinks were a little pricey, and they allow smoking in the karaōke area. Other than that, had a great time.

Huge difference in locations! We went to 40 hwy location about a year ago an have no returned. We were totally dissatisfied with the customer service/the inside of this joint/an the food. Last night we ordered half BBQ chicken & half bacon cheeseburger. Let me just say they DONOT skimp on the amazing toppings offered on both of these specialty pizzas. The BBQ chicken could of used a little more BBQ sauce but other than that both were melt in your mouth delicious. Also the crust could of been cooked a little bit longer but it didn’t bother us! There prices on some items again are a little pricey. I ordered a dinner salad & it was $ 2.50 an it was literally that bagged iceberg lettuce you get in the grocery store for $ 1.50 for an entire bag squeezed into a small plastic container. Takes about 40 min to get your food(delivery) an we live a few blocks behind them. They are a busy place so understandable plus real pizza takes awhile to cook. We will probably return!

There’s a Fun House on 40HWY that I refuse to set foot in. It was filthy and I used to call it Outhouse Pizza. This location is fine. The tacos are supreme and the pizza is okay. The atmosphere is odd sometimes. Sometimes, some of the guests seem a little hostile. Maybe they’re not used to outsiders. I don’t know. Service is slow and cumbersome and not really perky but ok. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here but I have family who love the place and once I’m settled in, it’s ok.

The Guy is a Raytown South boy, so he absolutely HAD to take me here for our second or third date… it’s been a favorite of his for(literal) decades. I’m not freighted with nostalgia, so it all looked a bit dingy & dated to me, but it does have a fun 70s-era vibe. Still, it’s a substantially good pizza. The crust is a little thicker & doughier than I normally like, but the toppings are quite fresh. The Meat Lovers is presented with an awesome amount of various meaty delights atop that thick crust — I could only manage one piece of it, but it was yummy. Service couldn’t have been nicer, but I think the Guy went to school with them, or something. They greeted him by name, anyway. There seem to be a lot of regulars on karaōke night, none of whom seem to care that they are all terrible singers. Rock on, dudes!

I’m writing an update primarily to award Fun House Pizza in Raytown the fifth star that I think it deserves. Yes, I’ve been«A Fan» for many years. The pizza at Fun House is generally always generously loaded with whatever topping(s) we order and the big ol’ pizza ovens bakes it up just the way I like it best. My favorite pie the last couple of years is the Fun House Combination but I pretty much like them ALL just fine. In the Kansas City area, Fun House and about three or four other independent, local shops get all our business. Turns out that we go to Fun House more than the others so I’m finally getting around to giving the Raytown Fun House Pizza & Pub the five stars it deserves! Whether we dine in or(more often) carry-out or get delivery… thanks Fun House for the memories! And I expect I’ll be seeing you again real soon!

Good pizza here — it is pricey but they do offer several coupons through the mail or online which is a big help. Toppings and cheese are never a problem as most of the chains seem to be skimping on those nowadays. I you want some good«pub» pizza and are sick of the chains, this is your place!

You’ve seen the old neon sign along Highway 350 or 50 Highway as some of us remember it. You know the décor inside is dated and sucks. And it ain’t cheap compared to the chain pizza you can get down the street. But who cares, when you sit down with a slice of meat lovers or a classic combo be prepared to chow down. Service can be hit or miss, but I’ve enjoyed pretty much every visit I’ve had here and rarely leave grumbling and never leave hungry… and I always have a to-go box in hand. While I live in Vegas these days when I come home to Kansas City… this is one of my failsafe places to go for great food. Fun House… as it has for years still has some of the best damn pizza I’ve ever ate. It also freezes well for trips back to Vegas… 5 Stars, without hesitation.

Wow, I beat Tiger to this place. As long as I’ve lived in this area, I’ve only visited Fun House at this location, one other time. Fun House is local, and I love the pizza. Fun house has always reminded me of a divey place, it’s darkish, and original. When I crave it, I visit the one on 40 highway. This is the Raytown location. Don’t let the 4 stars drive you away. In Raytown, people can smoke, and I can’t stand the smell of tobacco when I eat. The service is thus: You order, get a number, and they call it. Sometimes it can be slowish, but what you get is an amazing mix of cheese, and toppings that are so good, and almost indescribable. There is beer at the next counter, which I chose not to drink, having to drive home in Raytown. The small is large enough for 2 meals, the medium and then the large sizes, though they cost more than the chain place down the street, are enough to feed a family of 4 or 6 easily. The crust is thin, but not like a cracker. This is pizza the way pizza is meant to be. The toppings are well placed, and there’s alot of it. I forgot to mention that I ordered one small pizza for me, and a medium pizza to go. They cooked my small pizza so I could eat it there, and they then coked my medium pizza so it’d be fresh and warm when I left. Very unexpected. This location has karoke, and also a few arcarde machines. The room we were in is more of a «party» room. There were plenty of booths and tables, with 2 t.v.‘s. I’ve always liked the main room of the Fun House on 40 Highway, with the benches and the wooden tables. This location has the same. Go and check it out if you’re in Raytown.
