A Thyme for Everything in one of those places that you just HAVE to stop into if you are in the area. They take care of all your cooking, baking, and kitchen needs. Most importantly, they sell Christopher Elbow chocolates and you can’t go wrong with those! I took a cooking class here a few years ago and it was very educational and fun. While I do find myself mostly just browsing instead of buying, A Thyme For Everything is a must-stop due to how adorable they’re products are year-round. They are also a stop in Lee’s Summit Annual Chocolate Crawl in February.

I love cooking stores. AND I like Christopher Elbow chocolate. The 2 combined, perfect. A Thyme For Everything on a small scale is a cooking store with pretty candy. Also, the prices of things need to be considered. They have specialized supplies but often are found elsewhere for a lower price, even though I prefer to shop local. If I can find something for a lower price, I’ll get it. I debate between 3 stars and 4 stars. And I love this store, I really do. One thing A Thyme For Everything has is mixes for dips and soups. If you want a quick appetizer to make for a party, this is the place to go. Also they have cooking classes. The classes aren’t cheap, I’ve never taken one. As for cooking supplies, specialized. Not a huge store, or alot of space like Pryde’s. Actually, they are both the same pricewise. I usually find something at A Thyme For Everything I want, whether I buy it or not, they have pleasing items for the kitchen. Cheery items and seasonal. As for the candy display… Just beautiful! Delectable little treats, beautifully hand crafted. Treats I wish I could make myself. I really enjoy this store. But something about it doesn’t make it to 4 stars.

This has many items for kitchen. I saw many that would be very useful. Also many mixes to make your soups and breads of various kinds. Then to complete the adventure is the chocolate display of beauty.

Pretty much your basic cooking store. They have bakeware, cookware, tableware, gourmet mixes, dried pastas, and seasonal foods and decoration. They do have cooking classes and said some of their teachers used to be up at the OP Culinary Center. Classes are either hands-on($ 55) or demos($ 35). They even have some classes for kids. They have a list at the counter, check out their website or sign up for their email to get all the updates and details. They get four stars because they have chocolates up at the counter for a great price. I suggest stopping in here, grabbing chocolates then going two doors down to the Red Door Wine Store. Then enjoy a glass of wine and your chocolates together… mmmm.happiness.
