I LOVE Kohl’s…but only go when I have a 30% coupon and/or Kohl’s cash. You have to really know your prices before shopping here. I used to buy most of my work clothes from Kohl’s, but either their style has gone down the drain or I’m just getting old. I do, however, get many home décor pieces here. It’s also my go-to place for baby clothes when I have a shower to attend. In regards to the Lee’s Summit store, I’ve never had an issue there. The dressing rooms are always clean, always plenty of cashiers, and I can usually find a worker floating around if I have a question or need help. The only annoyance I’ve experienced here is trying to use their kiosk thingy to order something. After about 5 minutes I gave up, went home, and just ordered from the website. I believe in order to get the coupons in the mail, you must have a store credit card. This is the only credit card I have(other than one through my bank that I use strictly for gas), but it’s well-worth it for the coupons!

The only reason to shop here is when you receive one of those $ 10 Kohl’s complimentary cash and use it to purchase something at no more than $ 11. This store is an overly priced gimmick. It markets as a discount department store, but it has prices akin to Macy’s. I can find deals better at JC Penney. The other thing against this place is the women’s fashion are as tasteless as what you could find at Gordman’s for less. Too much shiny embellishments on nearly anything, but what can you expect for a store that sells JLo stuff.

When it comes to clothes, I don’t enjoy throwing down loads of money. Kohl’s is the perfect place to come if you’re looking for clothes that are fairly priced. They have so many«sales» at this place on a daily basis. No matter when you come, you’re going to find a sale rack(or 20). This location has plenty of fitting rooms and they are always clean. There is a fitting room tucked into the Intimates section that never has a line. I love digging through the sales racks of this store. The only thing I dislike about Kohl’s is the check-out process. The cashiers make you feel really guilty about not using a Kohl’s charge card, but besides the pressure to get a card, Kohl’s is a great place to shop.

I didn’t buy anything. The item I wanted was the only one in stock and was all chipped up, so I ended up going to another store. I give them 3 stars because they didn’t do anything wrong. Sure, I’d go back if I was in the area.(Next day, went to Kohl’s by my house and they had the item I wanted for 5% cheaper than this location, but probably a coincidence.)

I usually buy kitchen items and running socks from Kohl’s. I have a cc and get coupons regularly. I just really don’t like their ladies clothes that much, but there’s a great selection of mens’ Levis, so I buy those for my bf. Their seasonal decorations and greeting card selections are great and they carry Godiva chocolate, which is awesome!!!

This place makes me nervous. Sure, they have great sales — especially if you have a Kohl’s card/Kohl’s cash, etc. And yes, they do have some designer-ish brands(Vera Wang, etc). But to me, that doesn’t excuse the poor, poor, poor mess of a store. The layout is confusing — organized by designer rather than genre/market. Sale signs are everywhere and tend to be an eye sore if you are just trying to find what you are looking for. Want to find, say, leggings or a solid tank top? Good luck. You’ll have to literally dig through random assortment of random clothes — none of which are organized by color, size, sale, etc. I have visited Goodwill stores that are more organized than this. The fitting rooms are the epitome of disaster and remind me of a rebellious teenager’s room — clothes EVERYWHERE. LIterally. Everywhere. There is no room left to even hang the clothes you brought in thanks to the piles left before you, no place to put your purse other than on top of other clothes. I’ll spend my left-over change elsewhere if it means avoiding this stress-inducer.

I shop here all the time. When I can’t find it in the Independence store, I drive to this one. I try to avoid Summit Fair during the holidays, but last night, I had $ 30.00 Kohls cash that needed to be spent. I hit up either store during Kohl’s Cash days, and go back the next week with 20 – 30.00 Kohls cash in my purse. The staff here are great. I had mail order problems, once, with the website(ugh, try to avoid the website, it’s a hidden disaster.) The staff went out of their way to help me… It was a kohls cash issue and ordering something that wasn’t in stock. I’ve bought a coat with Kcash, and it was $ 60.00. I spent 10.00 on it, cause of my Kcash. I usually do that in this location. Scored again last night. Bought earrings from the fine jewelry department, and a wool felted hat I’d never make myself, for about $ 9.00. Their selection is as large, or more vast than the Independence store. I visited both the day after Black Friday, and the Independence store looked like a tornado had blown through it. This store was picked up and decluttered. This location has a larger selection of Simply Vera. I like her designs cause some have a touch of chiffon. I also love her leggings, and this store seems to be fully stocked. So be sure to shop at this store when they are giving away Kohl’s cash for every $ 50.00 spent. I have gotten so many clothing items I can’t possibly wear them all. Not to mention other things on return trips, with my Kohls Cash. Buy it at one store, get the Kcash, and come here the next week… score for you!

Good store to shop at but it always seems too crowded with clothes everywhere like there is no room to move around… kind of messy looking.
