Slab is great. Who wouldn’t want an egg on their pizza? Seriously, I’ve had 10 or so of their pizzas and they’ve all been great. Try the sage and the breakfast.

Amazing pizza! The«slab» which is ¼ of a 20″ pizza is huge, great value for the price. I like the atmosphere because they have tons of flat screen tv’s everywhere and the staff is super friendly. I would highly recommend the Thai Chicken or the NM Green Chile slab.

We love this place and location. It’s so busy over by Cubby’s and Zupa’s that we totally avoid that area. SLAB is located on the south side where there is ample parking. The pizzas are creative and each slab is sliced into three pieces which is more than enough. They provide foil at the counter if you need to take home any extras. I especially love the Thai Chicken pizza. I love a good peanut sauce and this one has a kick to it. We also really like the potato bacon pizza. The service is good and the tables turn pretty quickly.

Slab is our all-time favorite lunch spot during the work week and has become my favorite restaurant since moving to Utah. In fact, we drive from Orem about once a week for it and its well worth the drive. The pizza is out of this world(my fave is the garlic potato!) and the people are so friendly. Not to mention the huge slices. It’s nice and spacious and even though the lunch hour can get busy, we always find a table to sit at. Bottom line… my love for Slab runs real deep.

Awesome pizza, great service. Lots of flavor options — something for everyone! The most variety of any pizza place I’ve been to. Been addicted since I was going to school in Provo– so glad they built a Slab up here!

Slab is great. I love their Thai chicken, tomato and basil, and UNM. They are all delicious!

Based on the overall taste of the pizza, I’d give this place 4 stars. At this point though, I’m quite confident there’s a carbon monoxide leak in the kitchen, cause I’ve never seen an over staffed restaurant work so slowly in all my life. Seriously though, watch them next time you’re there. I’m convinced there’s a job position as «permanent wanderer». Someone that just pretends to be working, but really just wanders around constantly. It takes wayyyyy too long for your food to finally get in your mouth hole. Even when it’s slow inside, it still takes years. This place just has too much of the nickel and dime mentality. To go box charges, a dollar for a tiny thigh of ranch. The 8 dollar overpriced pizza should easily cover that. For two slices of pizza and a ranch to cost 9 and change is kinda crazy. Of course I’ll keep coming back, cause it still hits my sweet spot at times. But the way the business is run and the definite overpricing is a bit of a joke if you ask me. Update: owner messaged me directly and noted some of my concerns. Although the box charges and ranch cost are a bit unnecessary, I still really enjoy the pizza. I’ll give him 5 stars just for showing he cares about his business, as well as how much I enjoy the pizza.

WAYYYY overpriced mediocre pizza… 9 bucks for two slices of pizza??? On top of that, the crust was extremely tough and the flavors were very cheap. The service is bad, 20 minutes to get out pizza with just a few people in there. You can see in the back and all the employees were literally standing around, minus one person making the pizza. Definitely skip this place, not worth your time or money.

My husband works close to this location & has tried their pizza twice– both times getting sick afterwards– both times blaming it on the spinach. I was shocked when he asked me if I wanted to get dinner there last night but figured, if he was willing to risk it, the flavors must be amazing. Nope. We got 4 slabs(a whole pizza) for $ 30(???). I tried to justify this in my mind as we will get 2 meals from it, but still– WAY over priced for what you get. My husband still stands by the flavors, but one of mine had pepperoni on it that was seriously the most disgusting pepperoni I’ve ever tasted– I made my husband take a bite & he made a face before saying, «um– it’s okay? I’m glad I didn’t get it.» The crust? TERRIBLE. I grew up on the east coast so I know what thin crust is supposed to taste like and what the texture should be. I am 99% sure it’s actually cardboard. My jaw hurt after one slice. And last, but not least, we are both sick today. I’ve tossed out the remaining slices(in all ways you can imagine) & my husband is coming home early from work. Such a bummer!

Not bad. Not good. I like the concept of buying only a portion of a pizza and wish more places would do this. However, the pizza itself was nothing special. Honestly it tasted no better than a frozen pizza to me, but maybe I’m a pizza snob. The service was fast and friendly, place was clean, but the pizza just didn’t do it for me. I don’t think we will return.

Great pizza with a lot of options. The slices are BIG so go hungry. Lehi is the second location and recently opened. I wish it wasn’t so far away because it took me an hour to get there after work(I live/work in Salt Lake) but that’s a separate thing. Pizza was good and if it was closer I would definitely go back(read: open one in Sugar House).

Dive. Quality is not a word they would use. Burned crust, very little cheese, skimpy toppings. Such a disappointment. … #wontbeback

I’ve been a fan is SLab since their original location down in Provo. I really enjoy their unique flavors and the fun presentation of an entire«slab» of pizza. The only reason I don’t give this five stars is due to the prices. It seems a little exorbitant for a quarter of a slice of pizza where I walk away not quite satiated. With a location just down the street now I’m sure I’ll have a lot more pizza in my future.

I cannot believe they charged me $ 20 for 4 peices of awful pizza. It tastes terrible, the service is terrible, it’s loud and chaotic, the staff is rude, the wait was forever, it was a total mess, the staff was rude, and it was extremely overpriced. We gave SLABPizza a try because it was new. Pizza Studio is right up the street, way better, and much less expensive. Please, don’t waste your time at SLABPizza. It really is awful.

As the name implies, you order by the slab… which means ¼ of a 20″ pizza(though each slab is then cut into two slices). They can mix and match ingredients from one slab to the next, so they will make your order and the next three orders all on one pizza, then divvy it up accordingly. What happens if you walk in solo? Company policy is to wait 8 minutes. If in that time four orders have not been received, they build the pizza with the orders they did get, bake it, and discard the unordered portion. Keep this in mind if you come in during a slow time period and you’re in a hurry. They have 54 varieties(I counted them so you don’t have to) broken into four price classes. It’s gonna take me a large number of visits to sample them all, but I think I’m up for the challenge. Thankfully, even their highest price class($ 8) still represents a good value. Oh, and any restaurant that features Hatch green chiles on the menu rates highly in my opinion. If you’re up for a different take on pizza, this place is easily worth a visit.

Still my favorite pizza in Utah. I loved the original location down in Provo, and I was really excited for the new location to open up in Lehi, because it is a heck of a lot closer. And it does not disappoint. The new location is much more open and updated. And from the counter, it appears that the kitchen equipment has definitely been upgraded. The menu is still great. There are so many great combinations. I’ve tried to work through the menu in its entirety, but every time I make some progress, I am drawn back to some of my favorites. What makes this pizza so great? The crust is perfectly thin and crunchy, and the toppings are nice and fresh. So what’s good(other than everything)? The top of my list is probably the Austin. The barbecue sauce, chicken, bacon, and green chile are awesome by themselves, but then what really tops it off and makes it my favorite is the fried egg in the middle of the slab. Another favorite is the UNM: pepperoni, sausage, and green chile on red sauce. Both are fantastic! I’ve enjoyed every slab I’ve ever had at SLAB, and the new location is done just as well – or better than – the first.

Alright I went here because I pretty much had no other option at the time I went. I went for dinner which was wrong time to go to this restaurant as this seems a pretty good option for lunch than dinner This is also a new place by thanksgiving point. The way you order is by as the name says by the«slab» i.e. they basically make slab of pizza and when slabs are combined it becomes a 20″ pizza. Now for the pizza slab itself I got I don’t remember the exact name but something with potato in it and it was decent but not great. Service was okay as was ambience and hence the 3 stars. Nothing super special except that choice of toppings seemed unique and it was of course on a slab, something we don’t normally see in this neck of the woods Good option for lunch and I would recommend this place for lunch but not for dinner. Hope this review helps

I love watching the overall reviews for a new place change as the real reviews start coming in. All the 0 friend/Under 5 reviews at a new place all giving 5 stars crack me up. SLAB Pizza offers ¼ of a 20″ pizza. What does that mean in a 10″ personal pizza world? How many SLAB should you get? Come with me to the classroom… or if you understand geometry, skip to the review. Classroom: We know that the area of a circle can be found by the formula A=r2. For a 10 inch personal pizza, the area is 78.54 square inches. A 20 inch pizza has an area of 314.16 square inches. A SLAB is ¼ of a 20 inch pizza, which means the area is 314.16/4…giving 78.54! SLAB Pizza has managed to give you the same amount of pizza in 2 large slices as you normally would get in a 10″ pizza. Even better, at least for me, is that you have less crust since it’s not round. That means more room for sauce, toppings and cheese. Review: So that settles that… if you normally eat a 10″ pizza, a single SLAB should fit nicely. This is where the first problem lies… what if you want a little more than a 10″ pizza, but not two 10″ pizzas? I couldn’t find any kind of side on the menu other than gelato. I was pretty hungry and knew that a single SLAB wasn’t going to cut it, but also knew that two SLAB was going to be too much. So I went with a Carmel Sea Salt gelato. A cheap side salad or a pair of bread sticks or something would be nice options. Another issue is the menu. It’s massive. 50+ different kinds of pizza. While I have no issue with the number of items on the menu, the presentation is awful. I could only see the first column of the pizza menu screen by the time I got up to order. The second column was too hard to read without getting out of line and walking around to it. It sounds like an odd complaint, I know, but see it for yourself. Having some hand out menus would be great as I went with something on the side I could read, only to later realize I much rather would have had something on the other side that I couldn’t see while in line. I ended up with a buffalo chicken SLAB, with celery, buffalo sauce, cheese and chicken, but would have happily paid the extra money for the super buffalo chicken that included bacon as well. So I ordered my food, paid, and waited. I was given the gelato immediately, so I decided to eat it. The top layer of it was really icy, which was too bad. After that though it was pretty good. I was hoping it was fresh, but it’s frozen. Still, it was decent. After a long, long time my pizza came out. I got it to go as the entire place was packed, echoey and loud. I was happy to get out of there without a headache. Another stupid thing is that they charge you 18 cents for a to go box, something they didn’t mention when I bought it, but something that was also unavoidable as the entire place was packed full. The pizza was good. The crust is thin and crispy. I’m not that big of a fan of thin and crispy, but this was still good. I didn’t really care to much for the cheese, but the chicken and buffalo sauce were great. I finished it up and was content. Overall it was an okay visit. I’m still annoyed that they didn’t mention they were going to charge for the to go box, and later found it in very small text on one of their 3 or 4 menu screens. It’s not the 18 cents, it’s the fact that they didn’t tell me and that they do it at all, especially in a completely packed building. The menu limited me from selecting a better choice that I likely would have been more content with, and it also stopped them from getting more of my money. It seems like that is a lose-lose for us both there. Menus to look at while in line would be very nice. It’s decent pizza, and likely worth your time for a quick lunch visit, but I’m undecided on it vs. Pizza Studio up the street.
