Great Thai place that does a few things really well. Small menu, which is a plus for me. The price is great, and the quantity is really good. Especially large rice servings. A half curry is more than enough food for lunch or dinner. I like the Masaman curry, which is sweet. The other curries are great too and range in spiciness. The other really good dish that is unique is the fried rice. Much more than you might expect. The negative is that it takes them like 15 minutes to make. So maybe call ahead if you want fried rice. This prices are really good for what you get. It may not be super authentic, but it is delicious, and quick. I’m a fan.

Had high hopes for this place. I love chicken pad Thai and curry and this place is close to home. Pad Thai was worst I’ve ever had. Tiny bits of noodles no sauce. I asked for extra egg, peanuts and chicken. I got 2 tiny bits of very dry chicken, 0 egg and a tiny sprinkle of peanut. Stay away from this dish. Masaman curry was decent. Stir fry had good flavor and why I didn’t give a 1 star. Chicken was again very tough and dry but the sauce had very good flavor. Overall I won’t be back but I really did want to like this place.

It was good. Not really even sure what we had to eat but it was good. The staff seemed tired and cranky even though there was over an hour left until closing time. We are here because we stayed at courtyard Marriott.

I am a big fan of Thai food. Thai drift swift may not be the most authentic Thai food but it’s good if you’re just looking for a quick lunch. They are really fast and they’re very helpful and friendly. My pet peeve with Thai food is not getting enough rice but here they give you plenty of rice. Also very good price range. I recommend getting Sri racha to go with it.

If you like the original location in Orem you will be disappointing by this place. Its a fast food attempt at Thai. Get one of the main entrees and that makes it better. For this area its a good option because it is the only Thai place around. Mostly people where getting takeout. The food is very average and the service is good. Its like the equivalent of Pei Wei to PF Changs. I’ll be back and I’ll be trying something else than the Pad Chicken that I had this time.

Love this place! I can get my red curry fix for a great price, and on the go. Not sure if it’s the owner who has helped me each time I’ve been there, but he’s always been really friendly. I’ve only had the red curry with different mix-ins, but there are tons of options. I highly recommend for any Thai food fans looking for a good, quick, low cost meal.

Yuck! If an inner city public school cafeteria served Thai food, this is what it would taste like. I don’t recall ordering, «Chicken Pad Thai, extra dry, hold the flavor please.» Never going back.

If you like Panda Express, you will probably like this place. I was not a fan. The Pad Thai was all noodle with one small piece of chicken and almost no egg. I do not recommend.

I love this place. Very fast, very good food. Polite employees. Parking can be difficult but worth it.

I’m so disappointed. I really wanted to like this place because I work nearby. The concept is odd for a Thai restaurant. It’s like fast food Thai. It’s sort of like a marriage of Panda express and PF Chang only with Thai food. A lot of the food is not cooked to order. It’s just during there waiting like buffet style. The place is very small and yet completely empty during the lunch rush. Unless they make some serious changes to their concept I would be surprised if they stay in business long term. The location is great but at the large company nearby where I work several coworkers told me it is a no go. The damage to their reputation may be irreparable at this point.

I would not recommend eating here. It didn’t seem very fresh and was disconcerting in the first place, but I came down with food poisoning immediately after. If you’re going to go anyway, don’t go anywhere near the beef. I will not be coming back.

Great fast and excellent service. The Pad Thai was yummy. A spice cup would have been excellent to make it more spicy. I would like to try some of the other items on the menu.

Food is so so, but I don’t expect authentic food here. The waiter is rather friendly and we chatted while I was waiting for my pad see ew.

Second time trying them in a week, paid over $ 8 for pad Thai with tofu and I literally had about 5 bites and it was done. They also don’t have shrimp apparently, which is the strangest thing for a Thai food place. I tried giving them a chance but I would honestly never eat here again. It is not even like authentic Thai, growing up in NY I have eating Thai from many places and it tastes nothing like Thai. Too American. Don’t eat here

I honestly thought that I’d reviewed this place already. I work in one of the nearby office buildings and walk over to here maybe once or twice a month. I appreciate that it’s something different and isn’t another burger chain. We’ve already got Smash Burger, Cubby’s, JCW’s, and Carl’s Jr. near here, along with some sandwich places. It’s nice to have something unique. I’ve had most of the menu here. I’ve found that you’re best off getting one of the curries. Depending on how much you eat, or if you want multiple meals, get a half or a full. A full usually feeds me for two meals. They are also really nice and willing to give you some free extra rice if you run out. The entrée’s are okay, but I think the better deal and taste is in the curries. The meat all seems a little bland, but you can add flavor to it with the bottles of sriracha around the restaurant. Of the curries, I’ve found I like the yellow curry the most. I usually prefer a red curry or massaman, but the yellow curry is my preferred choice here. When you order the curry you can choose two vegtables and one meat. I like the carrots and potatoes, the pumpkin is also good too. You can ask for cashews on top of your curry(not counted towards your two other items) as well if you like that. The price is good and I always have felt like I’ve got a good value from it. The atmosphere is nice, the booths are comfortable, and there always seems to be open space to sit. The service is fast, as it is just served to you as you go through the line. Overall this place is a good value and adds something different to the food selection around here.

If you like lots of food that doesn’t suck, the pre-made food in the chafing dishes are just fine. I’d give it 2 stars. If you like the food at the Orem location, order one of the made to order dishes and wait. It’s much better. Almost 4 star. So, it’s 3 star and has food to satisfy most tastes.

This is cheap, fast Americanized Thai food. It’s not the quality you’re going to expect at a sit down restaurant but it’s decent for the price point. With that out of the way, the curry is the way to go. Have I had better? Certainly. However, for $ 7.99 you can get enough food for two people or two meals. The value can’t be beat. I enjoyed both the massaman and yellow curries. I like that you can choose your veggies and protein, as well as the type of rice(white or sticky). I also sampled the pad thai. I will have to agree with the other reviewers that felt it left a lot to be desired in terms of flavor. Most of the entrees have chicken as the protein choice. With the curry, your options include chicken, pork, beef or tofu. You also get mix-ins including pumpkin, potato, broccoli, snap peas and pineapple. Staff is friendly and helpful with explaining the menu/ordering process. I got my order to go. The dining space is small and dimly lit for a fast casual set-up.

Good and tasty Thai food. I tried the pad Thai, chicken garlic and curry(red and massamun). I like all of them. The concept is Luke«Panda Express», so the service is quick with reasonable price. They have VERY spicy chilli, made your stomach burnt … I love it though :-)

Good curry and pad thai, but a little bit of a strange interior. This is a fast casual restaurant, but the environment can feel a little bare. Massaman curry is my go-to, as is the pumpkin mix in. Given the surroundings, this is one of the better lunch options in this developing areas. They have reasonable prices and nice combo options. Don’t forget your frequent diner card!

In mid-2012, I moved to Lehi, right by Thanksgiving Point. There were only a handful of places to get a bite to eat. Over the last year, this area has exploded with food options, and Thai Drift Swift is an unexpected, but appreciated option. I love Thai food, and am a fan of Thai Drift in Orem. The Swift/fast casual concept is a little wonky. It’s like a family-owned Panda Express for curry and generic Thai dishes. The only thing I’ve had that’s really wowed me is the yellow curry. I love it so much that I buy containers of just the curry sauce to go and slurp it down straight. The garlic chicken is the only pre-made dish that I’d order again. The pad thai was disappointingly generic and bland. Thai Drift Swift is busiest during the lunch hour because it serves the busy office complexes of the Thanksgiving Point business park. It’s in a crowded parking lot with 7-Eleven and Subway, but there’s a parking lot hidden on the south side. I wish that they would bring some of their tastier recipes in from Thai Drift in Orem, but for now I’m content with the yellow curry for when I’m having an insatiable curry craving and don’t want to get on the freeway to eat elsewhere.
